The outside parking area looks like a glorified junk yard. They do not maintain grass, tress or weeds around that area. We have damage on camper from tree sap. Yes, that is a nature thing but the no up keep in that area is bad. Also the skylight over our bathroom had tree branch break it. When we rented a space, we didn't realize it would be in amongst vehicles with flat or no tires, no windows, or been in accidents. There was no where for trash to be taken and people were living in rv's there! The yard mgr Sam, was ever so nice to us in the beginning, when we left, it wasn't 15 minutes and got a phone call that he accused us of leaving old oil which we did not. The facility was horrible, the office was only available thru a slot and kept my debit card numbers on file. For the $70+ we spent a month there for a place to park a small enclosed 12 ft trailer was crazy. When a renter provides a valid state ID and a credit card it is completely ridiculous to insist on calling someone they know to "verify" that the renter is who they say they are. Anyone on the other end of the phone could say "yep, that's them" and it proves nothing. If they are the person in the picture of the ID then THAT IS THEM.John B.

The employee who was at the location seemed surprised that I was returning a truck, asking me to verify I was supposed to go there. He cursed and said that he did not really have room for me to park it anywhere in his lot. He finally told me to just park it in the middle of the area, leaving enough space for the storage units.BRIAN C.
The man that checked me at Armor Storage was grumpy, dint make no effort to help hook up. I had to go back inside to see if he was even coming out to help. When he did come out he said that I probly knew more about it than he did. He did not lift a finger on any part of the hookup process to help me. Big joke ! I figured it out myself... Dennydenny W.

Got their at 12:55 THE SIGN SAID gone till one call this number that was posted on the door. We caled and he said just drop it off, he wouldn't come and open the gate, he finally came to open the gate, would not give us a receipt or refund as promised. Very very rude person. The change oil light was on immediately when we drove out of the rental pick up parking lot. We had to go to another location to have it looked at. This was the recommendation from the pick up location. Also the interior of the truck had spilled pop or something sticky in it.Chad H.

The truck had less than 1/4 tank of gas. I would have preferred the truck to be filled 1/2 way or completely full and then fill it back to that starting point.Clint S.
The only complaint we have is that we ordered the truck on line and we never got a phone call the night before to confirm the reservation and the morning that we were to pick up the truck we call the location we requested for pick up and they did not have the size of truck we order so we check on line and our reservation had been changed to another location for pick up which was not close to our home!!RAYMOND B.
I am in Arizona. I haven't used U-haul in a number of years, and I haven't been in Iowa since 1959. I was traveling at the time and wasn't moving anything that I would need U-Haul for. I don't know where you got my e-mail address from, but it is not connected with anything U-Haul related.CLARENCE D.
I was required to drive an extra 8 miles each way to pick up the vehicle. I called to a store near where I would need the vehicle but they said I had to drive to another one to get it - making me pay extra in milage to pick up and return the truck. I think it was just a way to get an extra 10 or 15 bucks outta me...Tim N.
