I received a $25 gift certificate for a previous rental. I applied it to my rental from Saturday and when I checked out, it showed it would be applied. I got my final bill today and although it shows the certificate having been added to check out, they did not redeem the $25. I called the place I rented from, he said Uhaul would call me back, They did. I spoke to the reservations manager, Thad, who refused to apply the certificate because I had received a $50 reservation guarantee credit as my uhaul wasn't accessible when I arrived. I asked to speak to another manager, so he transferred me to Thad, the Traffic Control Manager who proceeded to call me "a Child" multiple times. I sure hope you record your phone calls. I rent at minimum 17 uhauls a year... I will NEVER be renting again as there are issues literally every single time and now to be called "a Child" because I wanted to use the certificate that Uhaul issued me. I will be contacting the BBB and doing every review site I can possibly find to make sure customers are aware of how unprofessional and what a headache Uhaul has turned out to be for a VERY frequent customer.EMILY P.

Facility was supposed to be open until 5:00. I showed up at 4:15 and it was closed. Tried online pick up. It said I had to wait until 5:00. I called the location and there was no answer but then someone called me back and was able to to help me get the truck rented. Drop box for the keys - lock was tricky and stuck with combo provided but was finally able to get it to work. Too many text messages after I had already completed online check in and I continued to get more messages. Just seemed clunky.Dan W.

Ensure all equipment (dolly) is in the truck you ordered. Ensure the millage is the same in the truck and what was logged on the application. The truck I had picked up was off by 1000 miles, and did not appear to be verified.Greg M.

Super easy drop-off and the attendant was very helpful and made sure the extra charges were clear and that I did not have any remaining questions. At first I wasn't sure he was working with/for U-Haul based on how he was dressed. I would maybe like to see some kind of branding so I know he's the guy that can help me. I was happy that he began helping me by looking up the truck info before I even figured out who to ask. Great experience overall.Marco G.
Better customer service, the mobile app took a customer service representative helping and nearly an hour to work, the moving company recommended on your website, flaked out after accepting our job and our payment. I've used uhaul at least 15 times and always loved them. This entire experience was frustrating, more expensive, and left a bad taste in my mouth. Don't rely on apps. They don't work. Even drop-offs wouldn't work. Phone support kept trying to direct me to a site that the buttons didn't work or show up at all on the site. Cellular for T-Mobile was non-existent at the office location. The guy who was in that day was very helpful though. He did go further than his job required, so grateful for that.Peter L.

it's conveniently close to my house. However, I tried to do the online checkin. someone at the store was there, and he gave me the keys and said I was good to go. I received a call ONE HOUR LATER, and he was telling me I needed to come back to the store to sign some stuff. He kept telling me he thought I was going to go in the store to sign something, but he waited an hour to call me. He lied to me. No way he was waiting for an hour to give me a call. You need to do all signatures online, so I don't have to drive 20 minutes to sign a piece of paper. The technology is out there.James T.

The pick up location was supposed to open at 9am, the employee pulled up at 9am with McDonald's in hand and nothing ready to go. He let me know that they would be closing at 1pm that day but when I came back to drop the truck off at 11:30am, he was nowhere to be found. There were other customers there looking for him and some people who were there moving out of a storage unit said that there had been other customers in and out with no assistance as well.Victoria L.

It was made where I could only drop off to a specific location, and not the optional location like I have had previously. It was very difficult to drop off the U-Haul once I was finished.
