1 wheel strap was torn up and could barely reach. Oposite ratchet was pretty rusty and was very difficult to use in order to strap down wheel.

I dropped this off on a Sunday and did not speak to anyone, as the location was closed at 3pm, and I just backed it in, unhooked it and left.

This was just a creepy auto park, garage and towing place. Had a hard time finding anybody to help us finally found somebody came out of an office that smelt like a litter box and an old hunting cabin. do not send women there by themselves. It’s not safe.

Upon arrival at Arrowhead Towing And Recovery for pickup, staff informed me that they misplaced the keys to the U-Haul truck -- it took about 20 minutes to locate them, delaying the transaction. The staff at Arrowhead Towing And Recovery (a tow truck operator) then seemed unfamiliar with U-Haul equipment (car dolly) and after multiple attempts was unable to reach under my car to place the backup security chain over the A-arm, so I had to step in to reach and route the chain under my car to hand to him. He then struggled to hook the chain, complaining that the chain hooks were not fitting right (I later found out at U-Haul on Washburn Way that he was trying to hook the chain to an inappropriate location). Within 10 minutes of leaving with the U-Haul facility, the truck overheated with severe loss of engine power, forcing me to ease the truck into the center turn lane of Homedale Road where the engine cut out, leaving me stranded in the middle of the road (an Oregon State Trooper stopped and asked me lots of questions since it is unusual to have a U-Haul truck broke down in the middle of the road). I tried to call Arrowhead Towing several times and left a voice message, but nobody picked up or returned my call. A truck overheating that quickly with no sign of coolant leakage suggests that fluids were not checked on the U-Haul truck at Arrowhead Towing. I called the nearby U-Haul Truck Rental at 2528 Washburn Way, Klamath Falls, OR -- their staff offered sound suggestions to quickly get the truck to their facility. Upon my arrival to the facility on Washburn Way, they had another truck ready for me, hooked up the car dolly to the new truck, secured my car to the dolly, and got me on my way. I would never recommend Arrowhead Towing to represent U-Haul, but The staff at U-Haul on Washburn were extremely helpful and professional! I felt much more confident on my trip to Bakersfield after leaving the Washburn Way facility!

Made a reservation for a 4x8 (which were in town on the lot 2 days before I left) then I got a call from corporate that they switched me to a 5x8! What good does it do to make an advance reservation if you can’t get what you wanted? They did give it to me at the lesser price, but I didn’t need the extra room & it took more gas to pull it!

The location was beyond amazing genuine caring people with excellent customer service Who I can 100% say what out of their way to accommodate me! Sadie is the best!!! I also dealt with Uhaul location on Washburn ave who were also a great team! However I was unimpressed with U-Haul dispatch Who I understand attempted to upgrade me and just ended up costing me more money they definitely should’ve give me a call before they obligated me to more money and a bigger truck than I was comfortable driving . At the end I chose to not make a big deal out of it due to the amazing staff I have encountered 😊

Ensure what the customer orders and reserves is what is ready at the pick up location. I ordered and reserved a tow-dollie trailer at a rate of $44.95 per day. When I got to the rental location at 2528 Washburn Way, Klamath Falls, OR, that was NOT what was waiting for me. A regular trailer at a rate of $54.95 per day was what they said I had reserved. The staff at that location was very courteous and helpful; they fo9und an appropriate tow-dollie trailer at another location in town (7330 Hilyard Ave). That location did have one, but still thought my reservation was for a regular trailer! The clerk did change the order to the correct trailer. All staff at these locations were very courteous and helpful, however the person I contacted when the order was placed (she said she was located in Ohio) got it wrong. I am very disappointed with that mistake. This is the second time U-Haul has treated me poorly.
