The experience I had at this U-Haul location was absolutely unacceptable. The manager and staff were dishonest from the start—lying and attempting to take advantage of a hard-working customer over an extra $100. Never try to rob the small man who is supporting your business. Everyone is out here trying to provide for their families, and taking advantage of that is not just bad business, it’s disgraceful. I will never use this location again, and I’ll be warning my friends and family to stay far away. In fact, this experience has made me rethink using U-Haul at all. To the next customer: be careful. Integrity should matter—clearly, it doesn’t here. Shame on you, U-Haul.

I was 2nd in line then I became 6th in line as the lady served everyone who walked in the door after me. Then my move was a 2 hour driveable distance to have the vehicle stall and shake uncontrollably

The problem wasn’t the location; it was the vehicle. While driving on the highway, the brake check ABS light suddenly came on, and a sign stating "check brake check". Then, without warning, the vehicle started braking on its own. Luckily, the car behind us had enough time to avoid a collision. I immediately pulled over to the shoulder and turned off the car. After restarting it, I cautiously drove in the emergency lane until the next exit. This vehicle nearly got us killed. I have taken a picture of the warning lights that appeared.

Vehicle wasn’t that clean..plus I feel Uhal do hidden charges..it says starts with $19.95 but doesn’t say km/hr charge plus fuel

When looking for assistance, to begin with the store was closed when I went to pick up the truck. When they arrived and opened the store they weren’t willing to help. My lock was frozen shut and I wasn’t able to get the key out, I went inside for help and the ppl there were not willing to help. All they kept saying was call customer service. I told them I have the information I need but the lock is stuck, they then said they will throw hot water on the lock. Seems like that’s what they have been doing as to why it gets stuck. While waiting for the water we were able to fight with the lock and get the key out. Then when we were parking the truck back, we put it in the same spot we took it from and they told us to move it around the back as it’s inconvenient for them, but when we got it there was a pile of snow that we had to clean off which means that the truck had to have been sitting there for days. We told them that we already put the key in the return box and they tried to open that box again which was frozen shut. They went inside and got water and poured it on the lock again but it wasn’t working. Called customer service and told them the issue and they said if we are parking the car back where we picked it up from that it’s fine and that I’m all set to go. I informed the ppl at the store and then they let us go. Also inside the truck was dirty where we had to put our furniture on. Worse experience I’ve ever had with U-Haul. Beyond disappointing as you guys are always my go to when moving.

Honestly probably one of the worse rental experiences I've had. I originally scheduled a pickup in Brampton for a one way trip. It says an agent will contact you the day before at 5pm, I got called at 7am. The agent informed me that there was no rental truck at the location I chose and I had to drive all the way to Milton to get the truck. This isn't the worse part... I drove all the way to Milton and there was NO TRUCK. The truck was at a different location in Brampton. There was no compensation for my wasted travel time, and the agent was useless. The truck in Brampton wasn't available for a one way trip so I had to drive it all the way back to Brampton, which defeated the entire purpose of this rental. The only bright spot was one customer service agent named Xavier, who was very kind and helped me put my new reservation through because my original got cancelled multiple time. I will not be using U-Haul again.

I had rented the vehicle with a quarter tank and returned the vehicle with half tank full. The woman at the counter said that I will get credit for the excess gas filled but have been charged for the full amount without receiving any credit

Engine oil light was on the whole time and the tire pressure was low on both rear tyres The owner was rude and didn’t even know how to handle a situation Would never take Uhual for this location or any other location I returned the truck on the same day at 10 pm informed the customer care about it but i was charges fees for two days and over night fees overall it was really really bad experience There was no option to pay via tap and guy was rude af when i said I don’t have a card on me he said sorry you have to go we can’t do anything

The lady who is at counter was so rude when we asked certain questions regarding Uhaul truck. Also there was truck outside in parking lot but instead that she gave the one from back side where truck was parked in dark corner also parking lot was full of water and pot holes. This is my 2nd time getting uhaul from here and first time one girl trying to charge me 60kms extra but fortunately i took pictures of odometer for miles and she was like oh you have pictures sorry it was typo by mistake. very bad experience need to improve a lot in terms of customer service.

Owner of this establishment attempted to defraud me by not properly checking me in when I was returning the truck rental, he argued and claimed to have sent me a receipt but after speaking with a CSR from u-haul while I was still at the store they finally got the owner to check me out because he provided a completely different rental number to the CSR, and that in itself raised suspicions. He also charged me a cleaning fee when I had photos prior to returning it. This guy should not be renting out trucks. Worst experience ever and I probably will be renting from enterprise from now on.

We came to pick up the truck and the parking is all destroyed nasty and dangerous I was afraid to get the truck We rent the truck for a few days and it was all wet our boxes, it was raining but the truck has some holes on it so our boxes went wet and damaged. We don't understand why we pay for insurance. No we absolutely not recommend Also when we pick up the truck, was garbage bags on the truck nasty and smells bad and has not fuels at all .

I booked 20 ft truck online, but the location did not have the truck. I had to take the 10 ft truck which caused me great inconvenience as I had to make multiple trips, it also caused the damage to the furniture

We drove 27094.8 to 27110, we drove 15.2 or 16km but they have charged 18km. Its not big deal with 2 km pricewise only 1.20cents but they are not honest. I took picture before we move van out.

The location is ok, but the app and the website were not working, so there was a long line to pick up the trucks. However, when my turn came in, it was quick, and for the first time I receive both the dolly and the blankets! The truck was super dirty inside, I had to sweep the floor myself, as there was mud on the mats. The console was also super dirty, so I avoid using it. Also, the truck needs wheel alignment and balancing.

This place has the worst customer service on planet earth. I went there like 15 mins prior and the guy was asked me to wait. He started assisting me around 15 mins late and was really very very rude if i was asking any questions related to u-haul. My work was really urgent otherwise i wouldn’t have taken the truck from them. That guy literally doesn’t have any sense on how to talk and respond to customers. They treat their customers like if we have taken any debt. They have a very bad attitude.
