I booked for a St. Albert location and was forced to use an Edmonton location. I booked well in advance and a truck should have been moved to my location for me. I shouldn't have to drive 20 minutes out of my way to get a truck with that much notice.Jeanette G.

I had made my reservations at a u-haul place next to my house, but my reservation was amended to this location which was 10kms away from my house. This added on to my distance cost. But at the end of the day, the vehicle was fit for purpose & my move was done hassle free. The dealer was friendly & respectful. I truely enjoyed this experience.Waseem D.
There was a bit of garbage in the cabin from the last person, which the manager at that location should have noticed before renting it again. Not a big deal but would show more attention. The windshield was dirty with bug splatter from last person. A quick clean would have been good. Overall my experience was fine. Minor issues. Truck ran great.Colin F.

Only one employee upon entry, she was behind the till, i told her I was here to pick up a Uhaul truck, she stared at me, I asked if this is where I pick up u haul truck, and she said "no". I pointed to the u haul sign, she stared at me. A guy walked out from the back room, I asked him if I can get a haul truck, he asked if I had a reservation, I said yes, he said nothing, grabbed a broom and swept for 5 mins. I asked if I was in the right place, and he nodded. Eventually he began working on getting me setup, but kept stopping to help customers at the till. It was painful dealing with this location.Michael C.
I was not impressed when I went to fill the gas tank after we finished our move. We only put 10 miles on the vehicle. The tank took 17 plus liters to refill. $25.22. There is no way we used that much fuel to go 10 miles. Meaning that the renter before us did not refill the tank.Robert G.

The truck and equipment I booked far in advance for this pickup date were at the location when I came to pick it upâ€¦ yet the guy at the desk would not release it. An hour and 20 minutes later (during my tight 3 hour move out window) he gave us another truck that was there that was 1/3 of the size I had reserved. We had to make multiple trips to move everything in this small truck and I ended up paying way more for the original rental quote due to extra mileage. It was so much extra time, work and stress. I honestly will never use uhaul again it was such a horrible experience.Alynne O.
The service at this location is absolute crap. I had an appointment to pick up a truck at 8am. The dealer was nowhere to to be seen quarter after and I had to call him on his cell to get him to open the location. He mumbled and could not hear a word he said. Very rude and clearly doesn't care about the client. To make things worse, my truck wasn't there! The guy who was supposed to drop it off was over 24 hours late! No acccountability. None. All he said was that we'd have to wait until 9am to call customer service. I couldn't wait an hour as I was on a tight schedule (hence the reservation I made 3 months in advance). And finding a truck ad-hoc at the end of thr month would have been near impossible anyways. I had to take a smaller truck (which screwed someone else over mind you) and make way more trips. Spending more on mileage and fuel. The truck was dirty with busted mirrors and visors. The suspension was absolute crap and the bearings were probably close to shot. I also didn't get the moving blankets I ordered or the dolly I reserved. Lots of my furniture got damaged because of this. This experience completely turned me off from u-haul. Unless u-haul reimburses me somehow (more than the 50 dollar guarantee) I will never use u-haul for my moves again.Dominic G.

A very poor excuse for doing business I love uhaul. I believe in what they stand for giving these small businesses an opportunity to be part of the franchise. That being said I rented a truck with out ever showing my ID. As I was leaving a customer was driving away in a truck that had the catalytic converter cut out and lights outGarrett H.

The keys for the truck that I had reserved at Saint Albert furniture and Appliance we're not left in the lockbox so I had to phone into U-Haul to find out what was going on and had to go the above location which was out of my way. The back of the truck was very dirty and I had to sweep it out before we could use it. It look like it was used to haul fertilizer or some other white substance. The floor of the interior of the truck had a lot of gravel and rocks in it otherwise the interior was fairly clean. The exterior of the truck was also very dirty.Richard E.

The person (cashier was very slow. I accidently deleted the end milage.. She wanted me to go back, the previous owner never did that to me. My ending milage was (147 - 135) Last 3 digits. I left the keys on the counter & left.. I was honorable to accept her slow response.. even the previous time.. I didn't have this poor service.. before.. Also as I mentioned to April.. This rental experience was an absolute disaster. Our rental time was before our first location opened and online pick up was not set up. By the time customer service was able to get to us the location should have been open but they were late. The reservation was transferred to a different location. We traveled there and the woman working had to call someone to walk her through the pick up process. We were an hour and a half late by the time we left with the truck. When returning the truck there was an extra $15 charge that we hadn't been asked about. Stood in the store for over half an hour to get it sorted out with 2 of us having to speak to 3 different people. Instead of waiving the fee that was not part of the original reservation the store had to pay us out of their register and making us feel terrible for costing them money. Worst experience ever . I waited 1 hour till the no clue woman which had to FaceTime someone figured out to give me contract and keys . Poor communication no explanation. Rude to me and part aggressive . When i brought the truck back i waited 45 min till everything with the paper and payment was finalized.it ruined my whole day . Lower your rates...Uhaul makes a million off of low income people...Nichel and dime us all. It should not cost my girlfriend and myself $300 to move a 2 bedroom suite with a 10 foot truck...going only 14km round trip in Edmonton. That is just plain crazy. Thanks. The employee that was supposed to give me the key did not know how to do anything so she had to call her boss. I tried to tell her I checked in online and had the page up that proved they could give me the key. She was extremely rude to me and spent 30 on the phone with her boss just to tell me that she couldn't do it.Tri N.
