It was ok. For my standard I would have liked the truck to be cleaner but it was not filty so no big deal. It did smell a bit like old cigarette smoke though. Great guy at the reception.

Left back tire was low on air .so I had to tale the time to fill it up and it was low when I dropped it off so tire wasn't safe because it was loosing air. No wind shield wiper fluid.I had to buy to clean the dirty window because I couldn't see out of it. That Costed me 8 dollars The person helping me was talking on FaceTime while going through the truck info. Also I was not informed I could not use debit to pay and I do have a debit visa and it did not work so I needed to tale money put which costed me 7 dollars I called to see if uhaul could help me with some cost on the uhaul and extra time and frustration i had to go through,but no one contacted me.

Agent was rude and did not do a walk around with truck. Agent did not provide any information regarding the truck The truck was in poor condition, the heat did not work, tires were almost bald and had no tread, making traction in the snow virtually impossible. Original location for renting the truck was closed before the posted hours of operation. Overall experience was below poor and I'd definitely not be recommending this location or the original location for future rentals

The location was so difficult to find with a small sign to indicate where I was supposed to go. The truck had very bad brakes, a squeaky belt and terrible alignment. Clearly not a well maintained vehicle

I accidentally overfilled the gas tank. I’m just over half when I got it to 3/4 of a tank. The girl is over don’t do any money back I said well then I’ll go get my jerrycan and I’ll siphon the tank. Then she lagged over another guy and he said I’ll give you 20 bucks off and it was credited. Staff at this location should be trained properly on the system

The fuel lines were cut and the fuel had been siphoned from the trucks when we got there. There was a guy in front of us who was trying to rent a uhaul, he was told his postal code wouldn't work in the system so provide a different one. He asked "I don't understand, should I make one up?" And she shrugged. He was still there when I left trying to figure it out AND the truck he had reserved was one of the damaged ones. I pre-paid for a dolly and when I asked for it she shrugged and said "we don't have those". I said "I've already paid" and she told me to contact uhaul for a refund. I pushed back and said this really wasn't acceptable, I need that equipment to move. The teller said something to a man at the back of the store in a different language and he got the equipment, it was literally in the store behind some food. Very unprofessional and needlessly time-consuming and stressful experience... moving day is stressful enough, save yourself the hassle and go to a different location.

A dirty truck, class and mirrors. Back not swept out. Asked to leave my credit card number stating there system was not wofking. Not being able to get there system to work. I took pictures of milage a d gas level before leaving then upon return asked if gas was at ae Level it never was at at pick up. Half hour to pick up unit and they did nothing outside. Will never use this location again. Thank God I took pictures and had a wittness.

The woman was late opening the store. The truck was covered in scratches and graffiti. The interior of the truck was a mess. Coffee or some thing was filled all over the centre consul in the floor. Who knows the last time it was cleaned.

Vehicle should come full and returned full. Vehicle had 3/8 of a tank. I used 1/16 of a tank and it's hard to put gas in to get it back to 3/8. I returned it with with almost 1/2 tank.

Your website needs to be fixed. I wasn’t able to create an account because my email was linked to my sister’s account (as a backup driver) who rented from U-haul previously. Subsequently, I had to call your 1-800 number to change my reservation and I never received any confirmation of this change.

My pick up location was changed without notice - notice sent hours after I had returned the truck. The furniture dolly I had reserved was unavailable at the new pick up location - no solutions offered. I had to drive my personal vehicle further. I had to drive the truck further (at $1/km). I had to pay more for gas due to the extra distance. It added an hour or more to my day to show up at the original pick up spot and then have to travel through road construction to and from the new location. It was a very disappointing experience and I will look into other options next time I need a transport solution. This in more a reflection on the U-Haul organization as a whole than just this specific location. I think this survey is unfair to attach the low rating just on the location.

The truck was disgusting, dirt, someone's snot kleenex and drinking straw on the floor. The picture I was sent to confirm when I picked up were all wrong, this truck had graffiti on the sides.

Vehicle had a lot of damage that was not previously noted. Vehicle was obviously improperly returned and not checked over by the staff at the location before being loaned out again. There were moving blankets left unfolded in the back when I opened the truck, there was ropes attacked to the inside of the box, there was a padlock left on the back door with the key left underneath the unfolded blankets. I was unimpressed with the cleanliness and maintenance of this vehicle as well as the condition upon pick up.

They had terrible customer service - I got the truck 2 hours past the time I reserved it for, they did not do a good job of assisting me to find a solution and then once I got the truck I requested a discount (small of like a $10 credit) due to the late time and they refused any discount. Will never go to this location again

The location and the guy was excellent. U-Haul it's self tricked me from the second I booked the U-Haul than failed to honor what they advertised that cost me over $250 in expenses over the situation and no one really knew what they were talking about but everyone knew how to tell me I don't qualify for the offer they offered me in the beginning over all horrible experience

I requested a dolly and they don't have one. I also dislike having to leave a cash deposit when I gave my visa number booking the U-Haul. On Friday I also booked a u haul and when I went to pick it up there was another lady renting a U-Haul and I waited at least 25 min to get mine. The system appears. To be very slow at times. Then because I was paying cash and for 2days they wanted a bigger deposit. I got fed up that Friday after giving 2 credit card numbers which she said weren't valid and went to the west end to pick up a u. Haul there. Which made me late for my moving help who were waiting for me outside my residence. It was so cold out my help ended up leaving because I was 2 hours late. So I didn't have help to move on Friday and had to hire movers on Sunday and Monday and then rented uhaul again Tuesday and finally completed my move without dolly requested.

The fact that we had spent almost an hour trying to get the documents done with phone was pathetic,, the truck tire was low and no windshield wiper fluid the windows were dirty only getting worse at night ,, my Wife had to get out and throw snow on the Windshield, we have used Uhaul multiple times ,,, this phone thing scanning etc is total Crap ... our pick up was set for 3:30 we were there at 3:35 did not get on the road till 4:10,, ,, deeply disappointed..

I booked for a St. Albert location and was forced to use an Edmonton location. I booked well in advance and a truck should have been moved to my location for me. I shouldn’t have to drive 20 minutes out of my way to get a truck with that much notice.

I rented this vehicle online and when I went to pick it up I had to redo all my booking and for the second time at this location I rented a dolly as well and they did not have one for me wow how inconvenient this location is very annoying won’t rent from this location again

Cleaner unit. Ice cream or something else melted on dash. Seatbelt broken. Not swept out. Wanted me to pay even though I’d already paid upfront. No blankets where available even though I paid for them already. Then I only got back 60 cents. ??????? I paid ten for them

I had made my reservations at a u-haul place next to my house, but my reservation was amended to this location which was 10kms away from my house. This added on to my distance cost. But at the end of the day, the vehicle was fit for purpose & my move was done hassle free. The dealer was friendly & respectful. I truely enjoyed this experience.

There was a bit of garbage in the cabin from the last person, which the manager at that location should have noticed before renting it again. Not a big deal but would show more attention. The windshield was dirty with bug splatter from last person. A quick clean would have been good. Overall my experience was fine. Minor issues. Truck ran great.

Only one employee upon entry, she was behind the till, i told her I was here to pick up a Uhaul truck, she stared at me, I asked if this is where I pick up u haul truck, and she said "no". I pointed to the u haul sign, she stared at me. A guy walked out from the back room, I asked him if I can get a haul truck, he asked if I had a reservation, I said yes, he said nothing, grabbed a broom and swept for 5 mins. I asked if I was in the right place, and he nodded. Eventually he began working on getting me setup, but kept stopping to help customers at the till. It was painful dealing with this location.

I was not impressed when I went to fill the gas tank after we finished our move. We only put 10 miles on the vehicle. The tank took 17 plus liters to refill. $25.22. There is no way we used that much fuel to go 10 miles. Meaning that the renter before us did not refill the tank.

The truck and equipment I booked far in advance for this pickup date were at the location when I came to pick it up… yet the guy at the desk would not release it. An hour and 20 minutes later (during my tight 3 hour move out window) he gave us another truck that was there that was 1/3 of the size I had reserved. We had to make multiple trips to move everything in this small truck and I ended up paying way more for the original rental quote due to extra mileage. It was so much extra time, work and stress. I honestly will never use uhaul again it was such a horrible experience.

The service at this location is absolute crap. I had an appointment to pick up a truck at 8am. The dealer was nowhere to to be seen quarter after and I had to call him on his cell to get him to open the location. He mumbled and could not hear a word he said. Very rude and clearly doesn't care about the client. To make things worse, my truck wasn't there! The guy who was supposed to drop it off was over 24 hours late! No acccountability. None. All he said was that we'd have to wait until 9am to call customer service. I couldn't wait an hour as I was on a tight schedule (hence the reservation I made 3 months in advance). And finding a truck ad-hoc at the end of thr month would have been near impossible anyways. I had to take a smaller truck (which screwed someone else over mind you) and make way more trips. Spending more on mileage and fuel. The truck was dirty with busted mirrors and visors. The suspension was absolute crap and the bearings were probably close to shot. I also didn't get the moving blankets I ordered or the dolly I reserved. Lots of my furniture got damaged because of this. This experience completely turned me off from u-haul. Unless u-haul reimburses me somehow (more than the 50 dollar guarantee) I will never use u-haul for my moves again.

A very poor excuse for doing business I love uhaul. I believe in what they stand for giving these small businesses an opportunity to be part of the franchise. That being said I rented a truck with out ever showing my ID. As I was leaving a customer was driving away in a truck that had the catalytic converter cut out and lights out

The keys for the truck that I had reserved at Saint Albert furniture and Appliance we're not left in the lockbox so I had to phone into U-Haul to find out what was going on and had to go the above location which was out of my way. The back of the truck was very dirty and I had to sweep it out before we could use it. It look like it was used to haul fertilizer or some other white substance. The floor of the interior of the truck had a lot of gravel and rocks in it otherwise the interior was fairly clean. The exterior of the truck was also very dirty.

Not treat them like garbage, accuse them of not filling up, and especially treating women like cr*p because they’re so called “vulnerable”. Literally the worst experience ever and won’t use again, nor recommend them to a friend. I’ll tell them to AVOID AVOID AVOID this location. Scammers.

The person (cashier was very slow. I accidently deleted the end milage.. She wanted me to go back, the previous owner never did that to me. My ending milage was (147 - 135) Last 3 digits. I left the keys on the counter & left.. I was honorable to accept her slow response.. even the previous time.. I didn't have this poor service.. before.. Also as I mentioned to April.. The truck has to be treated for Bed bugs.. I have made my state ment & will follow-up email tomorrow Bad service..

The truck was not clean inside or out. No inspection of vehicle, these curb side one truck stores do not live up to the reputation that I expect from U-Haul at all. I won’t rent anywhere but a U-Haul dealer from now on.
