The staff member was very pleasant and provided excellent counter service. However, the vehicle was dirty on the inside and outside. The cab was dirty with dry dirt/mud all over the floor including used napkins/paper towels and garbage. The cargo area was dirty and was not swept out from the prior renter, so we had to do it. The vehicle had a very loud squealing sound when started and running and the steering was not easy; like driving a vehicle before power steering. I suspect the power steering requires service. This was not my choice to rent from, but I was forced to rent here by U-Haul. I would not recommend this location.

Inside was clean , the outside was not clean

tim kStart by having an alternate actual UHaul service centre contact number on neighborhood sites..Athlone was horrible as we called for hours from early morning to mid afternoon wanting truck service for flashing engine service sensor. Lost a full day of hauling on a parked truck. 20 footer was shaking during drive away from Uhaul. So far NO REFUND offered. Uhaul staff should also alert customers that small trucks have NO loading ramps. They should also remind customers whether units use gas or diesel fuel.
