Highly recommend
AUDIE MWe were given a truck to take 2.5 hours away and we were lucky the truck did not leave us stranded on the highway as there was definitely something wrong with the transmission. We made it to our destination by the grace of God. The floor was also made of wood and not metal so this was definitely and older truck. The person helping us at the location seemed like she did not want to be there. She asked me three times for my address which I wrote down and spelled for her and she still listed some random address on the paperwork.

CRYSTAL AThe receptionist was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable abt the whole process. This was my first time renting a U-Haul and everything was seamless. When there was a bit of an issue with the truck, (there was a puddle of water in the back of the truck) one of the other employees cleaned it out and helped us with closing the back door. Would recommend this site to anyone needing a U-Haul.

HUGO EThe interior was not clear or fresh. It smelled of recently transported animals and was dirty - there was some small bottles and facemasks and receipts thrown, so I would not recommend as the owners should take better care of their vehicles.

TROY AMy U-Haul reservation was changed and I was not notified via email. The location and time was changed by 4 hours and was further to pick up. When we arrived to pick it up the U-Haul website was down, so we could not pick it up. We had to wait at 1100 Loring for the website to refresh because the front desk could not help me. All of the Dollie’s were rented so we did not get ANY of what was reserved and left with a furniture dolly we DID NOT USE but rented because it was the ONLY one left and as we were so behind schedule and rented TWO appliance Dollie’s, I had no choice but to take the furniture dolly. Again, it proved useless and was not helpful at all. Finally, the lock on the U-Haul DOES NOT LOCK. We had to purchase OUR OWN lock because the one provided on the truck does not match the key provided. We tried many times to unlock it - the key DOES NOT MATCH. Summary: 1. Reservation changed with no clear email notification 2. U-Haul website was down and we were unable to pick up our truck on time (already four hours delayed by that point) 3. Reservation for 2 Dollie’s not respected and we had to rent the one remaining furniture dolly which was completely useless and not what we reserved, we could not use it at all. This made our move take way longer. 4. The padlock on the U-Haul does not match the provided key and we had to stop somewhere to buy our own lock which delayed us again. 5. ALL of this took time and delayed my move which caused me to have to keep the U-Haul longer. I will NEVER recommend U-Haul to anyone else. It is unreliable. This was a terrible experience.

RASHEME MIt was very used so I don’t want to complain too much but the truck was not the cleanest. The check in took over half an hour for me, which cut into my time and is the reason I went a bit over and was charged an extra $5.14 I don’t think that was fair. Customers should be able to start checking in perhaps a few minutes before

DAVID TPros: I was able to rent a U-Haul same day. Cons: If you have an interim license and show another government ID, they act like it’s foreign object and had to call their manager. I put the gas back to where I got it and they charged me because it was too close to 1/2. Also, said they use to charge more as if that makes it any better. No rentals available to leave at another location.
