RONALD S.The receptionist was friendly. The gentleman that was supposed to help was a complete imbecile. He was interested in everything but his job. When we paid for our UHaul the receptionist called him to show us the truck, he took two steps into the lot and motioned us to the outside saying "Its outside." 10 minutes later, 2 streets down, and after checking 4 trucks, we were finally able to locate the truck that this imbecile stated was right outside. Rude is an understatement, I will try to locate his name and put it in the review. Stay away from this location.
CORDELA B.We rented the uhaul one way from NY to Tampa Florida. From NY to Virginia the weather was terrible with heavy rain storms, thunder & lights. Thanks God the truck have good tires, breaks & wipers if we would have been in deep trouble. 5 starts for truck maintenance. Also Anna, the one I spoke to, was very pleasant & helpful during booking & arrangements.

This new location was able to accommodate me and did it with friendly and competent staff! I will no longer use the previous location, I will be sure to always use this one!

Also, I rented a uhaul for the first time, I wasn't aware there were restrictions on parking on a residential block at night. Wish I was informed I would of made sure to be more vigilant and avoid getting a ticket for night time parking. I was loading equipment onto the uhaul from a venue space and received a ticket for night time commercial parking.

Wynter W.When I arrived, the attendant was chatting for about 10 minutes with the previous customer before even acknowledging me, even though his transaction was done. But the person who drove up the truck for me was polite and helped me adjust the mirrors. The main thing that was AWEFUL about my Uhaul experience is actually more about the scheduling system. I checked weeks in advance and saw that many trucks appeared available, but when I finally went to rent one, when you click through to reserve, only then does it say that none are actually available, it's really deceptive. The search design is also horrible because you have to search zip code by zip code, you can't just search, for example, "all available 10 ft' trucks within 100 miles of me on these dates". So I wasted literally almost 10 hours looking for trucks in the weeks before I needed it. I finally reserved one in a somewhat convenient location (only 30 minutes from my house, and where I could get a ride to pick it up) and confirmed it two days before and the day before, and then an hour later on the day before, I received a notification saying my pick up was in Brooklyn (an hour in the opposite direction of where I was going!). Not only was this infuriating because I had to take a $100 Uber to get there, I only received my guarantee deposit of $50 and extra miles, which did not compensate me fully for my wasted time (an added two hours of driving) or the extra $50 of Uber. When I asked the manager to have the fine charged to the person who didn't return the van passed along to me for the wild inconvenience, or at least the full $100 to cover the cost of the Uber, she said she couldn't do that. AND when I received the notification about the change it said something along the lines of "we've spoken with you on the phone about this change and you confirmed," but not only had no one spoken with me, I didn't even have any missed calls from Uhaul. Honestly, I would never use Uhaul again unless I trusted the specific location I was picking up from. Truly a horrible, stressful experience.

MARTIN M.Your app is terrible, makes the customer do all the work and did not work when we attempted to return, and it gave no alternative solution. Sat on hold for 15 minutes trying to get someone. Also the van only had 1/4 of a tank of gas, I left it with 1/2 a tank and you charge me 54 dollars to fill it up, even though I returned it with double the gas I got with it. Will not use again.
