I love this store and uhaul.. it's a bonus not too travel too portland too rent one .. friendly kind and competent staff and manager of store location ... Creig couldn't be more kind and professional if he tried. I love the ease and quickness of the ability too do small light moving... and having the 15ft space too store while traveling saved on milage . . Very reasonable prices... I would tell anyone too rent here... it's definitely the best experience I have ever had in this department of need.

I had a serious problem with the latch of the door of the truck, they knowingly rented it to me anyway however they said they contacted uhaul and you all did nothing about it. This is disappointing as I am a regular customer for my business and will. I will be taking that elsewhere. I am still waiting on a call from unaul to discuss.

David IFirst off my pickup location got changed last second to a location way out of the way but I had to do it because i basically had no other options this with this late of a heads up, we got an “ upgrade “ to a bigger truck that really ended up costing me more money because I had to drive all of these extra miles to just see two trucks at the Standish location that claimed they had no trucks. Then we pickup the truck from the windham location , it has a broken windshield and broken windshield wipers that scratched the glass. The previous renter did not clean out the truck it was full of brick debris and the windham location did not sweep it out either. So it got all over my furniture and essentially ruined my sectional couch. I am definitely not going back to this location and contemplating not using U-Haul ever again. After these cost increases and inconveniences it’s just not up to par compared to other companies. It’s laughable really but I have to pay extra. I expect some sort of compensation for my troubles.

OSEE NWhen I picked up the van all floors were dirty. I just moved my stuff and brought the van back. I was questioned a few times if I swept it out, I said it was dirty when I picked it up. The guy tried to argue but another employee stopped him. It was a good experience overall.

Paulo BI reserved a truck online for 7 am at my location for mobile pickup. When I got there at 7 am, there was no reservation online, so I went on hold for 20 minutes and they told me O could not pick it up until the location opened at 9am stating the store did not allow mobile pickup, however when I talked to the store at 9 am they told me they do mobile pickup and it should have been available, i lost 2 hours of time because even though I reserved for 8 hours I only got 6 hours.

I DO have an issue with your site telling me I booked at one place, then was told the location didn't have it. Was made to drive 30 MINUTES in the wrong direction just to get there and have it be CLOSED. Then when I called there's magically a location back closer to where I started and my end destination. This whole ordeal added over and hour drive to my day and quote frankly was wildly unprofessional. IF I was ever going to use uhaul again, sure. I'd recommend the location. However. I'll be looking into other options in the future.

KEVIN CWe originally booked a UHaul for an area 1 hour away from where we got it. When the booking was done in person, the vehicle was listed as available. We never received a phone call within 24-48 hours, so we called UHaul. They could not provide us with a vehicle in any location but 1 hour away. Very poor customer service with agent on phone trying to resolve issue. She told me, ‘take it or leave it, I don’t care’ UHaul is not the only rental agency to do business with, and we do a lot of business with rental companies in all states and Canada. We will look elsewhere from now on.

If you don't have a 10' truck at one location due to no error on the customers part and you directed the customer to another location and the rented truck is 15', that is your error don't add the charges to the customers bill. *to add the person waiting on us at the Augusta location was a real jerk and didn't care that the error took more of our money out of the bank and left us with very little*
Adam CI was disappointed that I was charged a $50 cleaning fee. It must have been because I didn’t fold the moving blankets. I felt like it was an unnecessary charge.
Lee BI was charged for 8 gallons of gas when I only went 30 miles and filled it when I returned it. How do you use 8 gallons of gas going 30 miles. No matter what you do it isn’t possible. I was charged a cleaning fee because the vehicle smelled like smoke even though I had documented it before I took the car and I don’t smoke, never have. I had the truck for 2 hours and went 30 miles what should have costed me around $50 ended up costing me almost $120. When I called this location to inquire about these charges the customer service was poor and I was told that it’s all automated and there is no way the person checking the vehicle in can make a mistake and that it’s my word against theirs and there is nothing they can do. I have pictures and documentation but they deny that they exist and will not look at my proof. I will not ever use this location again and I will never recommend this to anyone. I will make sure everyone knows that they are stealing from their customers. I used a service so yes I should pay for that service but being charged $65 in fees that I didn’t actually do is just ridiculous.

Jacob KI was wrongfully accused of damaging a uhaul truck. The manager jake called me 5 hours later after I dropped the truck off a half a day early saying the vehicle had been side swiped. I said I saw the damage when I picked the truck up but thought nothing of it. He claimed that the vehicle had no damage before I picked it up and that I was going to be responsible to pay for the damage. I honestly thought I was being pranked. I got a phone call twenty minutes later saying they called a previous renter who came forward about the damage. My point being if this guy had not come forward I would of been charged for a expensive accident I had nothing to do with. I will definitely be taking a walk around video before leaving any uhaul location in the future to avoid being wrongfully accused.

Jonathan HI asked for a trailer with a drop down gate, I was told I would get one. I did not! So I payed for a trailer that I had to pick the equipment up and slide it to the front. So I think it would be best if ur people were better trained to know what ur trailers are equipped with.
michael hOpened an hour after the reservation. They offered no help in finding another moving vehicle when the reservation was not even going to be at their location for another few hours. They advised to call U-Haul. They charged for gas replacement after reading the gauge while parked in an incline. When asked if they could read the gauge again, they simply said to talk to U-Haul. Not helpful.
Dustin SThe truck was reserved for 7:30 am but the rental location was not open until 9 am. I waited for 1.5 hours in the parking lot for the location to open. That isn’t the best way to start the move. I feel 20 percent of the charges should be refunded back to my credit card.
Peter MCouldn’t have been simpler. I was not sure which location was going to be closest to my new house before driving across the country. I noticed this one after unloading the truck, called to ask if I’d be allowed to drop off with them and after checking to confirm, they said yes! It saved me from driving back down to Portland. Great experience overall.

David KStaff didn't want my 4x8 box trailer and were not friendly or inviting. They made me drive around the back of the store and unload the trailer myself and move it to the back by the woods. I got all dirty doing the job that they should have done.

The pickup experience took over an hour even though I arrived early because your 24/7 no contact pickup was glitchy and wouldn’t process- 25 mins on the phone with 2 customer service reps to solve the issue. The price to go one way was significantly cheaper than the in town moved I was forced to use which makes absolutely no sense this ended up costing over double what the original estimate was. I will not use or recommend U-Haul to anyone else ever again
