Unfortunately a 24hr rental cost me over $200! Rental $135, gas $40 which is understandable.. However because I went a few miles over what I anticipated, I was charged and extra $40 .. I returned the uhaul in the condition I received it plus a little extra gas.. I will never use uhaul as a source to move in the future! Highway robbery!!! Very disappointed!!

There seemed to be a mixup as to the drop off time. Also, despite selecting "no" to the insurance several times I still got charged for it. As a result of the hidden fees and the insurance charge I likely won't be using this service soon. Staff at Aubuchon was friendly as always.

Robert SNew employee left alone to deal with a ton of customers. The Uhaul told us to drop the trailer off at one location and the truck at another. But at the first location there was no room. Drove to the 2nd location and I was charged for the extra miles.
Violet HMake all the choices during rental checkboxes instead of new screens, when renting I have to navigate a dozen screens and each one has to load it just takes an obscene amount of time while your trying to up sale me to purchase other goods…load them all on one page and make it checkboxes that I can choose if I want that service.

Jeremiah JWe rented a truck for the day but when we picked it up we were told we had to have it back in 5 hrs. The same truck was rented by someone else for the same day. We went a total of 8 miles and realized there was no way we could do what needed to be done by 3 and returned the truck. I find it poor business practice to double book a vehicle.

donald sThe truck that was available had the worst smell. I had no choice but use it to move with. When I got to my new home all my mattresses and living room furniture all smelled horrible. The manager had only the response that I guess we should clean it. I'm not sure if I can trust your company anymore. I never worried about checking the back of the trucks. But this one smelled like animals had used it as a bathroom.

Jacob CYes, we had trouble with the straps to loosen up to unhook the car. The young man was very helpful. We told them the car dolly straps need some maintenance. It took both of us to loosen the straps. What a pain.

My reservations was changed three times and I reserved it two weeks in advance and then I wanted to pick up and drop off at the same location and they made me go 10 minutes out of my way to drop it off or they were going to file charges and say that I didn’t return the truck I will never ever ever, recommend U-Haul to any one and if it can be prevented, I will never ever ever rent from U-Haul again

JODI RZero issues. Nice people Now that being said? Uhaul itself is HORRIBLE. This is my third time in two years using uhaul. Customer service has gone to hell. I tried to extend the contract by one day. Paid of course. Nope. ZERO help or sympathy. You are so money drunk right now that it’s not funny. Things happen. You all need to have backup plans. Uhaul has changed for the worse like most other companies. Shame. Shame on you for letting down your frequent customers and showing attitude when called. Smart move by hiding and not allowing google reviews. Well played. It wont always be this busy for Uhaul. Things will settle down. You will start to struggle and need promotions and customer service again. I promise you this. We will remember how you dealt with people during and after covid. Your philosophy and attitude stinks.
Tom HJust the right vehicle for our needs. I think the U Haul company tells the pick-up location "most people just come to grab the keys". It's much more complicated than this. The gentleman that waited on us said "that has only happened twice that he could remember". Be prepared to be there about 20-30 minutes. No one just "grabs the keys" and takes off, even if you enter your order online. Overall excellent experience, though!

Heather WNot so much the Kennedy Memorial Drive location's fault, as I understand they are just a drop off and pickup site. I originally contacted Elm St location in Waterville, ME to reserve the truck and was told all I needed when I picked the truck was my drivers license and method of payment. No mention of having to go online to set up. Was under the impression that Elm St location had done all that had to be done. Andrew at Kennedy Memorial Drive contacted district manager and got it done after some time. Obviously communication and training needed all around.

Keith RThe customer service was above and beyond my expectations. I found the manager of the location to be very helpful, honest, and super friendly. I would choose this location every time I needed to deal with U-Haul if I could. Someone give this lady a raise!
JOANNA YI would never recommend Uhaul to anyone. Every truck should have a full tank when a customer picks it up. You purposely leave them less then full so you can charge ridiculous prices for gas or get free gas because someone overfilled. It is bad business practice and a SCAM. This comment is directed at Uhaul overall. Not this location. Thanks
ESTHER BIt was a very long process to pick up and also a very long process to drop off. This site had issues with the equipment they used to verify the order and check the truck back in. I very much like this Aubuchon hardware store and frequent it often for other products. It would be nice if the pick up and drop off could be streamlined better.
DAVID OI have not rented from UHAUL since 2001 and I would say that the checkout and check in process has gotten much longer. I easily used up an hour of my time to accomplish these tasks. Seems as though technology has only slowed the process. I think improvements will n this area are needed.
