What happened to having actual people rent you a truck? It took us 50 minutes to be able to figure out the app so it would let us get the key. If we had been able to rent from a person in the store it would have taken about 5 minutes. You end up paying a lot of money and you have to do everything yourself. It's ridiculous.Joshua S.

The representative was irritable and was negative about Uhaul. When asked if I would take the insurance he did not indicate that it is not covered by my insurance and never mentioned that I would not be able to add it later. When I called Uhaul they said I cannot get the insurance so I drove 760 miles without it. That made me nervous. Pretty lame policy.KEN H.

Make the check in paperwork easier!!!! It took about 20 minutes to enter all the information needed just to rent a hand cart. I find this review very one sided. Instead of rating the location, you should be asking about yourself. If anyone has a problem, it's you!!!!!!Richard G.

Over priced, don't give any miles at all for the cost of the truck. They just charge outright for everything and make it so it's not even worth it, but you need the truck so you're stuck with it anyways. The truck was not cleaned before I used it and the mirror was smashed with some other side of the truck damage.Sheena B.

Other than the vehicle not being returned before my scheduled pick up time, CSR's were excellent. Sorry to Linda for myself venting off to her. Just a suggestion, they should have a backup vehicle available when this happens or if they have a breakdown. People who keep a vehicle longer than the contract for have no respect for the next people who are renting the vehicle.JOHN N.

I had an emergency come up and I had to return the rental within an hour. I was still charged a full day even though someone was right there who was going to rent it as soon as I checked it back in. I tried to get some kind of refund and also spoke to Gill in customer service. He had no sympathy or empathy AT ALL! Just kept stating it's a contract, it's a contract! At that point I should have demanded the van back so it could not have been rented out right away and you get double your money. I am very disappointed in Uhaul and will be letting folks know about my treatment.DAVID W.

The rep Lisa was extremely rude and unproffessional upon the return. I was a litle late and called to note that and she went off the rails because it was being rented out which they did not advise me of at the time of rental. She continued to be rude and condescending when i was trying to be polite and understanding. And all she did at the counter was complain about her supervisor the entire time. On site staff were very good hence the above ave rating however, The cargo van was scheduled to be returned by 11 am on 9/2. When I arrived to pick up the van shortly after 11 it had not yet been returned. Despite several attempts by on site staff, management and Uhaul management the renter did not return the van (not sure when it was finally returned). I had to leave the site and wait for another van to be returned around 3 pm. This delay caused significant scheduling problems with our move. No effort was made by U haul to adjust my rate for the time lost. There should be some adjustment in my payment. Once I had vehicle all worked out well.GARY W.

I paid for 1/2 of the moving pads and they were not there. Could of been my bad I did show up 15 min early and didn't look before I left. I did the walk around for dents and cleanliness but didn't think to look for the pads. 5 bucks oh well. Easy pick up and drop ofLuke L.
After spending nearly 40 minutes trying to get through the online access to the key?â€¦ you can definitely improve THAT part of the process! A very frustrating experience. Once I gained the key, from that point on everything was fine though the online checkout was once again laborious. I get it that not all customers are as conscientious as the vast majority of us but this is surely over the top? I will be renting a 20 footer is a couple of weeks.. already booked. After this experience I will be arriving 30 minutes early! If you took mobile pick up I suggest you do too.David B.

Flawless from beginning to end. Aubuchon employees are friendly and professional and quick,quick, quick because I like to get things done quick, quick, quick. I highly recommend this Neighborhood Uhaul for all your local moving needs. The cargo vans are easy to load with back cargo doors and side doors so no crouching from back to front. They are easy to drive and get decent gas mileage. This is a huge plus for a senior like me. Bravo my Neighborhood Uhaul!Sherry D.

Nice machine but I got charged for a cleaning fee for mud on the van. It had rained for three days and my driveway was muddy, hence the mud. Why not charge God the cleaning fee? I feel that the vans which graphically shows rental at 19.95 which is just bait and switchâ€¦.rate is 78. A day.FRANK S.

Well first I want my money back. UHaul's constant issue is poorly maintained equipment. I get it, but when a van has a dangerous alignment issue and squealing brakes it should not be rented. Granted I spend my life around cars and can tolerate this, but the average consumer can turn a badly maintained vehicle into a three ton projectile very quickly. The check in/check out process at this location sucked. I would really like my money back. I got robbed of a good rental.Seth A.

The location was fine. My issue is that I preserved for a one way move yet was still given a mileage restriction and was charged extra money for going over the miles. I was under the impression that there was no mileage restriction for a one way move, which I did pay extra for to begin with so I was extremely dissatisfied with Uhaul for the extra $13 chargeJames D.
The Aubuchon worker that assisted me at pick up seemed bothered that I was there. It took more than five minutes for someone to even acknowledge me at the register. The associate was very unfriendly and didn't seem to want to help me. The truck had a lot of exterior damage and was dirty inside. The associate who received the truck back was very professional and courteous. He seemed personable than the previous associate.MARK D.

The pickup experience was not as friendly as other locations and the time took too long. The pick up was supposed to be ready but the representative asked me for the same infomraiton that I input into the online pick up. The check out was horrible too, they couldn't figure out the difference between the mileages that I original picked versus the acatual mileage that I drove. I dropped less and I was supposed to get the reimbursement but I got charged the same.Marcos M.
Truck ran poorly.Had hardly any gas in it when picked up. Rented from Aubuchon hardware and Gardner Clark that rented me the truck was very very rude when asked about why isn't there guess she said it was too cold outside to put gas in. Steering wheel in truck shook at 50 miles an hour. Would not recommend renting from there again ever Or renting a U-Haul for that matterMuriel T.

Customer service was horrible. We went to get the van and got charged twice on the insurance than I asked for only the appliance dolly and got both of them. We waited over a half hour and the woman helping us kept bothering everyone to get answers. Staff was not trained and then she was giving everyone attitude. Next time I'm going to a different location this was just horrible! The other issue is the seats were not comfy and cause backachePeter L.

The guy that did the uhual was rude we got charged more than we should have I actually have to call he didn't even ask of I wanted a receipt and before I could even ask he immediately clicked no. The people working were rude from the start, I called to rent a uhaul and the woman told me I had to wait 1 hour until the guy who dealt with it got there and hung up!!! Then I called back they told me to rent on line, I had to go there to pick up , I went in they were again so rude told me to wait outside for the guy who worked uhaul I waited 15 minutes nobody came to me.
