When we went to pick up the truck, there was no one around to help. It was about 10 minutes before anyone came to assist us (after telling 2 different employees that we were there to pick up a UHaul). However, the process once we had assistance was quick and easy and we just had to drop off the key at the end. I would definitely use Aubuchon to rent a UHaul again. Next time I would just show up about 15 minutes early to not cut into my rental time.

The truck was fine, but obviously not cleaned before I rented - there were straps and cables in the bed of the truck from the previous renter, and the floormats in the cab were quite sandy, and there were toenail clippings on the floor. But, the truck worked fine and I will definitely use this location again. They were also very short staffed, so I'm sure that added to the demands of the location this go round.

Highly decepvixe pricing practices. You learn after the fact of all sorts of extra charges. Insurance was supposed to be $15, and yet is $25 on the invoice. $80 for 90 minutes is outrageous!

Got a 15' truck, loaded it up and couldn't get the door closed (cable on one side was off the spool and wrapped around the rod). We went back to Aubuchon who, first complained about uhaul, then told us to call uhaul to fix it. Uhaul sent 2 guys who cut the cables, then suggested we either unpack and repack all our stuff into a new truck, or drive to leominster to have it fixed. I did neither, as both were inconvenient and not on my timeline for moving. I used the truck with the broken door, then brought it back broken (also discovered the dashboard lights didnt work when I drove it back at night). Thought I should've gotten a refund for all the trouble, but was charged me the full amount.

The only thing that upset me was that I ordered two packages of blankets for moving. I was not given those blankets due to the fact that they said they didn’t have any but when I ordered them to be with my pick up, they should’ve been there and that was very disappointing, and even though I didn’t get charged after the fact, it was still hard for my movers to move the stuff without the appropriate stuff that I Asked for so that was a disappointment.

The store employees were fabulous, the truck was fine, the mobile app and experience was horrible to say the least. We were supposed to pick the truck up Sunday to move with the app, and it would not work (on a new phone) so we literally had to change all plans and wait until the next day for s store clerk to check us in. They also had issues with the app. The user experience of the app is hands down the worst I have experienced in years.

Your Website is absolutely useless. It never works and I have tried to use it at various locations. Fortunately the staff at the locations are great and always help you out but you can forget about "self" check-in/check out" and god help you if you show up after hours when a location is closed. Shut it down, fix it and rerelease it, it's worse than JetBlue which is at zero stars.

I had difficulties with the UHaul App at both pick up and drop off. It kept kicking me off but wouldn’t allow me to return to where I was at. I had to use the online chat each time to finish. That was a bit frustrating.

The truck was clean but there were issues with being able to adjust the seat front to back, the emergency brake release and most importantly, the brakes themselves. I passed all this onto the guy I returned it to.

I was assisted by somebody who hadn't processed rentals previously. I was not prompted to check my phone for UHaul communications before I left with the vehicle. I also found out later that I was charged for rental protection that I declined when I submitted my reservation. Lastly, I was charged for 2 gallons of gasoline when I drove only 12 miles and added 2 gallons to the tank on my own. Otherwise, clean location with friendly staff. Will return as needed.

The brake made me nervous because you had to really had to press hard to ensure it would come to a complete stop. It was as if someone used the van prior and rode the the brake line down. The only other issue was the shifter had issues as it was almost stuck at times. Aside from the issues from the vehicle and the smell of the van. The service at the pickup and drop off location was incredible.

We had a one way rental so picked this site because it was close to our home. It was easy to find. When we picked up the truck there was no one site to help (just via phone), so I went through the same app to drop off, not realizing the hardware store staff could help. The staff took care of the return in minutes, I should had gone there first and not wasted my time with the app (photos were still uploading!).

the back up camera and dashboard screen was smashed and therefor not working, the passenger seat belt alarm/sensor was working correctly and "rang" the entire 250 miles.

The back up camera had been smashed - I told the attendant and he said yea I know, there was nothing he could do about it. Once I left and picked up a helper the seatbelt icon flashed and beeped the entire 5 hours I was driving. We both had our seatbelts fastened, obviously a malfunction on the passenger side. I would appreciate a discount for the stress caused by the incessant beeping.

This is just like uHaul, Make the survey all about the location and not them. The location was great, in fact they were able to finalize the process when your &$*&% app didn't work, as usual. Basically it was everything you would expect from uHaul. 45 minutes to do something that should have taken 5. Plus the 30 minutes to read all the threats of how they're going to charge you a fee for this and that. Thank you for "choosing" uhaul, like anyone has a choice.

Over all it was a good experience. I do have questions regarding two charges that I wasn't expecting. I did have the truck overnight but used it for less then 24 hours but got charged the rental rate times two. I only drove the truck for 16 miles and got charged for 4 gallons which is pretty poor gas mileage at 4 miles per gallon. The fuel gage hardly moved if at all. Minor stuff but questionable.

There was a tire sensor warning saying the tire was low even after the slow leaking tire was replaced, that Uhaul has yet to fix, according to the store employee. The tire seemed OK thankfully. Good guys there.

This location went above and beyond. I had a contract to return here and when I arrived U-HAUL Cotporate informed me I was going to have to return to another location 30 minutes away because this location had too many trucks. I explained I do not work For U-haul. The Stow location stepped in a confirmed they were happy to accept the vehicle. I am a fairly frequent user and the two locations provide excellent service, but my experience with U-HAUL corporate makes me think twice about using these services in future. Marsha Beatrice, Esq.

There was damage on the van that I had to point out to someone prior to driving off with it. Also the photos of the van used on your website were incorrect. I had no issues with the location, but your website could be streamlined to make the process quicker. It was lagging quite a bit and I feel you could put many of the up sale options on one page instead of barraging the customer with options they do need.

I used the on-line pickup and drop off. The App crashed 4 times after I had taken the photos and the whole process took about 20 mins to pick up and over 30 mins to drop off. Really, really frustrating. The truck was ok - old and the interior was not very clean. The windshield jets did not work, and screen was dirty. I have always been happy with U haul but disappointed this time.

Driver Seat Could Not move. Back, because it hit wall behind it. my keens were pinned at the bottom of the dash, which it made it hard get a position on the gas pedal and break. Plus, the truck knees a step to get in.

The truck was OK. But I ordered rental of 10 protective mats to protect our move. They did not have them when I arrived. The excuse was that the person before me didn't return them, was the explanation. There was no accommodation except for removal of the 10-dollar rental charge. So, I had to pack lighter in the van, use boxes to support the furniture so it didn't scratch, drive very slowly to avoid bumps, and make two trips as a single-trip arrangement wouldn't allow closer packing. In the end, I paid an extra 90 dollars for overtime, and returned the van after my intended 1-day move. So not very happy. Next time I will try Ryder, Enterprise, or one of the car rental companies, many of which provide vans.

Each time I reserved online from UHAUL they never have the truck. What’s the point of running a business! This time I was charged extra mile. I reserved a truck 15 minutes from my house so I can Uber there but you guys only have 1 available and that’s 1hrs for me to pick up the truck and another hour to get to my first destination. My mileage should be 30 miles one way for me but I have to pick up the truck an hour away. I even reserved a dolly but none in stock too. I can’t believe I was charged an extra 36mils when it was uhaul mistake that they didn’t have the truck at the location I pick online . D your job right Uhaul! This is people live
