PHILLIP PThe air conditioning did not work, the steering wheel was off center by 90 degrees which obscured the speedometer and dash display. The worst part was the so-called roadside assistance ! We called to see if we could trade trucks at our destination and were told we could wait in place for a service vehicle. We decided to continue to our destination and call for help there. We called for help and waited over an hour, when called back we were told to drive to a local dealer for service. We drove to the dealer who did not have the supplies needed for repair and waited for them to go get what was needed. Waited again for parts and repair - all of this without air conditioning in the truck or dealers office. Well over four hours lost time on the move plus over half a day in 90 degree weather. Not a happy renter! Too much time, too much money, not enough service; overall an unhappy, one-star rated, lousy day. Worst u-haul experience of my life.

Ahmed TWe were told my multiple Uhaul employees that the truck was dock height which it was not. This was our first time renting a box truck so we relied on the information from the employees. I advised multiple times that it must be dock height. This caused us to have to physically load and unload 9 pallets by hand. This is why we had to keep the truck for additional days. I have called and explained the issues on two occasions and the supervisor has never called me back. Also, I have been billed for dolleys that we did not request or use. This appears to be a scam and I will never do business with Uhaul gain. This has cost my small business a lot of extra expense and noone at Uhaul will own the mistake.

Patricia LI ordered a utility dolly and 10 furniture pads, neither of which came with the truck. When I disputed the charges I was informed someone from U-Haul would reach out the next day. Nobody ever did and I was charged for stuff I didn’t get.
Laura BCan’t think of anything. At this location, Tim was great - an excellent representative for U-haul. From a corporate perspective, I received a call to redirect me when a trailer was not available at the originally assigned location - which was greatly appreciated and which worked very well.
Bob MHad to ask for help to load the trailer onto my hitch. It is pretty heavy and the lady helping me with the paperwork made no attempt to call for help until I finally asked if someone could help me lift it.
Mauri AConfirmation email said pick up at Auman Motor Company. Called them. They had no reservation for me. Canceled due to poor communication and poor service. Searching for alternative company to do business with. Thanks alot.
