The truck really wasn't clean but not bad. There were muddy footprints on the floor. It's not a big deal but I wouldn't call it clean. The individuals were friendly and nice. They were also helpful. I really appreciate the low price I was given by the customer service representative on the phone. That was a great price and I was very happy about that. The other thing I want to mention is that they sent the movers to my house from Elkhart which is at least one hour from where I live. They were an hour late and I paid a two hour charge and they were here for 15 to 20 minutes. They were polite and did a good job but you should make an hour rate available. Thank you

Well, there were not really any parking spaces and like other U-Haul places, not the cleanest because it was located with in an automotive repair business. The owner/manager was helpful and friendly. When I returned truck, I was unable to verify if thru your app. It kept telling me to make sure my location services turned on. It was. I tried going through the website and couldn't get that to work. I called the 800 number and got a message that Everyone was busy and to call back at a later time. I gave up asi had a 45 min drive home and it was getting late. I called again on the drive home and spoke with someone. After explaining my situation, she told me I should have taken pictures of the odometer, condition of the truck and location. No one ever told me to do that and that was my second truck in a week. I felt she was scolding me....Fortunately, i dealt with a location that was fair and honest.

The van was extremely dirty with bug splatters on the outside and per hair riddled on the inside. The inside of the truck smelled of live stock, although there was none. This was the only cargo van on their lot - so I had no choice in renting as I had a confirmed appointment that I was meeting. This not what I've come to expect of Uhaul.

Was not the selected location. Was told had to come pick up at much earlier time than planned, so i missed my auction and they didnt bither to drive over and open so was comotion to get the truck and when i returned truck using self check in, corp chgd me for 40 extra miles even though i did not have way to specify locations point a and b where used. Was not sufficient mileage but demanded refund because truck was left with extra gas. Was later refunded for those miles later.

When I arrived they told me the U-Haul side was closed even though I had a reservation for that location. Once that was finally resolved I received my truck. I turned in the truck same day before closing but there was nobody there but the open sign was on. I should have taken pictures of the odometer but did not and they also billed me for an additional 72 miles that I did not travel. If U-Haul does not make this right I will never use them again (which I have used for my last 4 moves, plus my son's move, plus for any side projects that required picking up and delivering items from or to myself.

I have the call recorded from the owner Steve cussing me and calling me names. He stated that my credit card did not go through which was the furthest thing from the truth. I had him recheck and told him then he can apologize. He then apologized and called me a worthless bitch AGAIN. I have contacted corporate office and am awaiting a phone call back. I have since locked my credit card and Steve, the owner of the Auto store continues to try to put charges into my credit card. All of this is now being monitored and recorded for fraud. DO NOT USE THIS STORE!!!!

I reserved a truck from avilla then had to go clear to fort wayne and the gas tank was basically empty . but overall the truck did ok and we got all moved

The unit's gas gauge showed 38 miles to empty. I had to purchase $78.00 of gas, at &2.219/ gal. Upon returning the vehicle, the fuel gage was reading over one half. On my final bill, your company gave me credit for $24.00. Do you consider that fair ??? Will be more than happy to e-mail copy of receipt !

By far the dirtiest uhaul I've ever rented. Charged me $20 for gas when I have pictures proving the miliage meter and gas from pick up and drop off.

We used the mobile phone check in. It took over 20 minutes for the approval process...which was cutting into our rental time. Also, this was my first time using u-haul. I was not aware that the rental truck had to be filled with gas before returning. It would've been nice to have that stated somewhere other than in fine print hidden somewhere. We used less than 1/4 tank and were charged over 30$...ridiculous.

Wash the trailer. Know the customer when they arrive, not give them the run around! After I found "the right person", this man was good about checking the light hook up.

I'm 57 years old. I've never rented from a place that was so nice, so helpful, so going above and beyond on customer service. I mean, I could tell you some of the things they did to assist me but I would not want to get anybody in trouble. They were just better than having my family help me. Unbelievable fantastic experience. I would drive out of my way to rent from this location in the future. They also sell cars at this location. If I needed one I would go here. Love this place. No BS.

The instructions said a key would be locked in the back and provided a code to unlock the box. There was no lock box with a code. After searching for 10 minutes we found the keys in the cab of the truck.

I don't like a business telling me a truck that rents for 39.99 will be over 60.00 . Then they charge me 67.25 , so I take the truck , was told have to bring it back with a half a tank of gas, when I get in the truck it's under 1/2. I took the truck at 4:00 pm returned it at 10:30am the next day. The person wasn't there, so the guy said he would tell him as soon as he returned that I returned the truck! No one gave me a receipt or anything. I did put some gas in the truck, I only drove it about 7 miles - he charged me for 10 miles to begin with , I told him it would only be about 8 miles, but he insteaded , then he said he would take some money off - put it back in my checking. But instead he changed me another 58.79 out of my checking, then took another 129.67 out of my checking. I have paid 255.71 for a truck that rents for 39.99 - didn't even have it for 24 hours- call & told uhaul , of course haven't heard from them back , if you use this place be careful- I can not trust them again. I would have had someone move me if I had the money, but now at this moment I have bills to pay and they have my money!

Give me a call and I can explain. The grounds are not trailer friendly what so ever. The staff took way too long to get me set up, my f150 wouldn't hardly fit between the car and tree I had to drive by just to get to the trailer, the staff required I back the trailer back to where I got it. There wasn't hardly room to turn my truck around let alone maneuver a trailer through there. The trailer lights were very intermittent. I checked my truck and everything was good my side of things. The lights kept cutting in and out, about got rear ended at one point. I will never use this place again. I'm used to using Welches in Bluffton amd Ossian, IN. They would get me in and out within twenty minutes, this fort Wayne location took an hour for a simple trailer. When I asked for a number to contact you guys directly I was told they don't have anything with your number on it. The office had at least one cat that I saw and had an overwhelming odor of cat urine when I picked up the trailer and dropped it off. I'm allergic to cats so I wasn't too impressed. Give me a call at 2608492134 so we can discuss this please. There's no way I'll be using this location, and a very good chance I won't use U-Haul agsin if this is the way I'm going to be treated as a customer. I shouldn't have to back uphill and around a turn when I dropped the trailer off. There needs to be a good area to drop and go.

Neither your website nor the rental location could give me the gvwr of the trailer, I did not know it was stamped on the side of the trailer, I picked it up on a dark day and couldn't see the stamp, hauled it 70 miles or 1:30 hrs only to find the trailer&car in tow was too heavy for my vehicle. I expect a refund because I hauled that trailer empty for 140 miles and paid $70 for a trailer I couldn't use. Your service was useless.

We dropped this truck off after hours.This location is a used car lot and it was sort of confusing at first. I had no interaction with personnel other than the after hours answering service who confirmed I was at the right place. My rating is just average as I just dropped the truck off.

Was nervous to rent, some locations got bad reviews. This one got decent reviews so I went with it. The people were very nice and helpful, in and out quickly, no surprises with charges, and hooked everything up for me(I had no idea what I was doing!). I would definitely choose this location again.
