Would you like to hear the REST OF STORY???? Our Original reservation was for Cold Spring, MN (Next to the Dairy Queen) which was about 15 minutes from our location in Eden Valley. Uhaul changed the reservation to Foley, MN ( a storage facility ) which was an hour from our Eden Valley location. When we arrived there were no trucks !!! Not even an office to inquire about a truck! I called in and was sent to St Cloud , thirty minutes back towards Eden Valley. Although the truck was clean and ran well to AZ the experience left me with a very bad experience with UHaul! I believe it all started because they wanted me to hook up a trailer behind the 15-20 foot truck from somewhere in Minneapolis or Colorado and bring it with me and when I said "no" all the trouble began! I am a 63 year old man traveling alone across the country to move my 82 year old mother and I am not a professional truck driver! I didnt feel like it was a good idea to haul a trailer. Would I recommend UHaul to anybody probably not!

The information we received for returning the vehicle was not clear. We were unable to return the vehicle after hours following the instructions on the app. We spend an hour trying to get in touch with customer service only to be told we could return the vehicle after hours to that location. I didn't receive the rental agreement until an hour after I picked up the truck. We were then already moving and didn't get some of the details we needed like returning the vehicle with gas. I had assumed the .99 cents a mile included gas. I was then charged a large fee for not refueling which we could have done as we waited on hold for an hour with customer services to assist with the vehicle after-hour return. When you only have 6 hours to load the truck, you don't have time to read 4 or 5 legal-ease documents with fine print.

It's a drop lot, not much more to say. If you're good with the mobile app it works fine. If not, you're going to hate life!

I wasn't able to drop off the truck when I was done with it in the evening the gate was locked even though the had a drop box for the key. I was glad my time was extended to the next day.I did see 2 other locations would have been good to know if I was able to drop of at the other ones.

The PU at this location was fine. I will just never do the online 24/7 again. I was charged way more then if I would’ve just rented from one specific place.

This gentleman had me charge for an extra day when I return the truck same day 1 hour and a half before he closed and by the way I had it reserve for 11 and ended up leaving at 1145 for the reason he was not there how are you going to miss a 15 foot truck when you only Cary like 4 to 5 trucks ?

Service your trucks. My trip took an extra 8 hours because of whatever was wrong with it. Check engine light was on. Nothing was ready when we got there at the location.

The truck was very dirty outside and inside, the person at the counter was very rude and insisted my card without explaining they just needed to run it to put a hold on it for the truck as I paid online. I really would like to be in contact with someone in regards to the customer service at the counter and the cleanliness of the truck. It was definitely not worth the $150 I was charged. I chose to rent a U-Haul as it would be cleaner then putting stuff in the bed of my personal truck and it looked like they just covered the bottom with sand.

The uhaul was disgusting there was frosting on the dash cigarettes in the cup holders ash everywhere tissues and napkins in the trailer and I was still charged $20 for a convenience fee and the place I got it from was so sketchy and dirty never again will I rent from there or probably from uhaul for a while. It was not a pleasant experience at all

I had a reservation a month in advance for the twin cities. Got a call 2 days before saying there was no trucks in Mn and I would drive to WI to get one. They found one 2 days earlier at a place 2 hours away from me. Very disorganized even with a reservation a month ahead and only 2 day notice on when you can pick it up. No enough time for organizing moving day.

Because I did not bring the truck in with a full tank (when I checked out the vehicle in Colorado I was told I only had to fill the tank as full as when I rented it. When I picked up the truck the tank was 5/8 full, when I returned it was 3/4 full), the software on the tablet indicated that I owed for the discrepancy. I let the person know this was an error, because of my comments on check in. He had to call his supervisor for guidance on fixing this issue. Note to UHaul: I understand your software may not think every renter is honest, but the check I did on my smartphone app in Colorado when I rented the truck did not seem to appear anywhere in completion of the transaction in Minnesota. If you are not planning to use my comments or entries when I check out the vehicle in any way, why waste my time by asking me to fill it out, and then requiring me to get a manager to sign off on it when I complete the transaction? This was a waste of my time. The equipment (truck) however, performed very well.

I received an electronic receipt and I believe that I was overcharged. I've been calling the location for two days and they NEVER answer the phone and they do not have voicemail set up nor do they have an email address on their website.

It didn't look like a uhaul place or even a business inside. Outside there were only 2 moving vehicles. Vehicles themselves were great and employees were very nice and helpful.

Slow service. I had my license photographed on line previous to my pick up to speed up the process. When I got there I was asked to display my license anyway... The representative I talked to on the phone previously, told me the place opened at 930, it was actually 9. Establishment was unkept and messy . I had to provide a 2nd phone # , this could have been done previously. The employee at the pick up location needed more training and his computer skills were less than acceptable. What should have taken 10 minutes took a half hour. I will not use U-haul again.
