A very unsatisfactory experience--not really a U-Haul site. Just a used car lot with a couple of vans. 2/ Office didn't keep to posted hours. We waited for 30 minutes before it opened, and then the office closed early. 3/ The text interface did work .The steering column made it impossible to take the required mileage pix.THOMAS E.
Parking the U-Haul was confusing because the lot was not accessible during closed hours, even though it is a 24/7 drop off location.Robert A.

Wilder wasn't really a street per se, it began and ended in the car lot that doubled as the rental pick up location. The truck was rented in Plymouth and I expected to pick it up in Plymouth, not in Saint Paul! (I was advised that pick up may be at another locaiton at the time I rented the truck, though)GOLDIE V.

The only employee there couldn't help me when the link for contact less pickup wouldn't work. He was visibly annoyed and said, "I don't know what to tell you" so I walked out to try the link again. Eventually, it worked, but when I got to the step that said to go inside to get the key I was nervous. The employee said "We just started with U-Haul. None of us have been trained. I don't know what I'm supposed to do." He did start looking for the key but couldn't find it. He then made a call and ended up finding the key, but I was very uncomfortable. I have used U-Haul several times in the past and have never had am experience like this. When I returned the van, same day, the office was closed, so as I walked up to the drop box a voice came over a loudspeaker and said, "You're trespassing, the police will be called, this is breaking and entering". I said out loud that I was returning a U-Haul but I don't think there was a microphone because the same person essentially repeated the statement. HOW UNCOMFORTABLE! I love using U-Haul, but if today had been my first experience I would never use the service again. Bottom line is this is a terrible location that needs both U-Haul AND customer service training.Cody F.
