Not pleased at all. We had to move a 3 bedroom house with no blankets or Dollys. We had to move a very heavy gun safe and due to lack of equipment it was dropped twice. I had ordered these pieces and they were not on the truck and we had very limited time for this move. Very disappointed service and this was a location uhaul picked for me I had another location initially selected.
Cindy APlace was very dirty, trash on the floor, person I dealt with did not know anything about the business.
NED MThe pick up since I had done everything online like I was supposed to was not smooth at all. I ended up having to call the number because I had no access to the key and then he asked me the same questions that I had already done online. The return was not smooth at all. I am still disputing the bill you were going to charge me for gas because someone assumed that when I got the truck it was on full, but it was not and thank goodness I had taken a picture of the gas and the mileage when I got in it so I could prove that it was not on full Was $11 and 70 some odd cents back out of 200 that I had to leave said it was going to charge me 15 something for gas guy said he’s gonna give me $16 and some change back since I proved that the gas was not on full that still not the right amount to be refunding the mileage was over charged. We did not go as many miles as he estimated and said it has not been a pleasant experience. Rent from Benton because I thought it would be a different guy than the one in Christopher because I’d already had bad dealings with the one in Christopher . As it turned out, it was the same man I would not have rented there if I had known that. I think you better monitor his U-Haul renting a little closer than you do. I’m not the only one who says he’s a little bit shady and doesn’t charge people right I hope other people who complain have sent you comments to let you know also.

Joseph HFirst let me say I am extremely happy with the service, location, and helpfulness of the staff. I understand that this location is limited by what is returned there, but it would be nice if smaller trucks where available at this location. Still I give you 5 out of 5.

RANDY GU-Haul was a little dirty when I got it but wanted to tell me to bring it back clean. I was do $70.15. I only got 68 back not very understanding and very rude. Will not use this service again I waited for two hours for my change to be dropped off to me when I was told it be about 30 minutes because nobody was at the location and they were supposed to be because they knew I was going to be there Only give two stars because it got my stuff moved other than that I don’t recommend. I also had a truck that had a faulty, gas cap.

Ashley KNot the dealers fault. He was very helpful. He just wasn’t even online as a dealer yet. The unit had a flat tire! And the wiring was faulty.
Ralph GAfter the delay on Friday (I’m a day behind my schedule) as I’m enroute I call Benton to confirm drop off that evening, he asks me if I could drop it off at his Christopher location 8 miles away!!! So I called UHaul again on hold..,,she said to drop it off in Benton and she would let the manager know. Then to check it in online was a nightmare. The system would not let me through. I spent another hour going back to the trailer and calling yet again. I can’t see why I should use UHaul ever again.

Timothy MDollie wasn't on truck when we rented it. Also got charged for gas when we replaced what we used. Took 2 hours to get rental. On line said two places were open and neither was.
Justin JWe reserved the truck online under the 24/7 category. We had trouble with the verification process. The 3 chat people were unable to help us. We were finally able to speak to someone after being "in line" for an hour. The nice gentleman was not able to help me, but forwarded my my issue to the regional manager. He was fantastic and got us on the road finally!!

RUDY GFred had an attitude. We were already having a bad day having had a uhaul reserved close to home & when went to pick up it wasn't returned from previous renter making us having to go further away to just get a uhaul.
CYNTHIA ALocated at the end of a cul-de-sac with a bunch of nicer looking vehicles. Easy to find it. No dogs came running up while snarling, just quiet. I definitely appreciated the key drop box. I pulled in, locked up, & dropped the keys in the box. They even sent me the receipt to my email. Easy enough. Thanks guys.

Rachel SI have no complaints about the vehicle. But Fred at the Pickup location is not someone you want representing Uhaul. In one conversation he complained about African Americans rights, LGBTQ rights and then made a joke about how he has my phone number and address and didn't have to work to get it, Implying he was going to ask me out! I was extremely offended and will never pick up a truck from his shop again. I would be shocked to learn that I am the first complaint you have received about this location, as he joked about how a woman had complained about him already because she didn't get his "sense of humor".
Lorena KThis site was littered with cars sitting around and poorly lit (not lit at all). I had to back around a U-haul truck into a spot between it and another car to drop the trailer so it wasn't blocking their driveway. I knew this place was bad from seeing it before but figured I'd give it a shot. I regretted it when I got there.

Jacqueline SFred was the most disrespectful person I’ve ever met that has worked with uhaul. The building was in disrepair with grease and trash everywhere. He chastised me for wearing a mask per the CDC and Illinois current safety recommendations and told me he didn’t believe in masks instead of just minding his own business. He instigated the conversation and I gave one word answers trying to end the uncomfortable conversation as quickly as possible. The equipment he gave me was filthy. There were broken mirror pieces and a potted plant had been broken by whoever used it last. He also took a phone call on speakerphone from his spouse about his colonoscopy prep prescription while I was waiting for him to run my card.
