I parked the truck in the same exact location where I received it from. I left the keys in the dropbox as instructed. They entered a different location for me to drop off the truck even though I advised them I’d be dropping it off at their location. A few days later I had a phone calls from U-Haul advising that I still had the truck. I contacted the location and they assured me they would fix the issue and enter the truck in as returned. A few days after that the truck still showed active. I called corporate and they advised they would contact the regional manager so that they may contact the location. After a week it was finally rectified. Not a good experience, returning my U-Haul truck only to have another U-Haul location as well as corporate calling me telling me I hadn’t returned my truck. It didn’t help that every time I tried to contact the location, It went straight to voicemail. I was only able to contact them one time when I initially received notification about my truck being outstanding.

The Automart folks had the trailer, but provided no help in hooking it up. I guess too busy. But they also did not explain anything about the return. As it turned out, we were able to return the trailer early, off hours on a Sunday. They were closed, which is fine, so we called on Monday morning to let them know it was returned (it was due Monday afternoon). They seemed to acknowledge it, but wasn't sure, so called on Tuesday. They apparently hung up on me, so I had to go in. The manager was rude, hadn't checked the trailer in, but said he would say it was returned on Sunday. But he didn't do that. He checked it in as of the time I left there! So I got charged for an extra 2 days. Once I got the charge, I went back, and again he was rude and told me to contact Uhaul to get it fixed. I did, and they did, but I should not have had to go through all that extra trouble. I still like Uhaul, but won't ever rent from Automart again. Not sure why they bother.
