Let's start with the positives. I booked a 15" truck, loaded it with furniture and drove it from Toronto to Calgary through a snow storm and it performed perfectly so in the end that's the most important thing. I also appreciated the customer service I received from U-Haul (corporate) when issues arose. The downside. After booking my truck and pick-up location 1 month in advance, I received a call the night before pick-up stating my preferred location did not have my truck and I needed to take a 35 min. Uber to a new location. I was told I would receive a credit, but don't think I ever did. When I arrived, there was no one to greet me, but I did receive instructions on how to select my truck. Unfortunately the truck I ordered did not have the moving pads or dolley that I ordered. Miraculously they simply removed these options from my order/invoice with no explanation as if I wouldn't notice. When I tried to call the Scarborough office where I was booked, no one answered the call or returned my message. How do you move without moving pads to protect your furniture? Luckily a quality customer service rep sourced me new pads but I needed to go pick them up at a different location. All in all I lost about 3 hrs of my day. Drop-off was quick and easy in Calgary. With U-haul it comes down to whether you book from a reputable operator/distributor and that's hard to know in advance. I wouldn't book again from this location in Scarborough, but would use U-haul again.

Michelle BI dropped off on Sunday so I didn't interact with staff or the location. Fortunately I read the sign before dropping the keys but then had to install the app and take all the photos. It would have been helpful to know this in advance.
CHRISTIAN BNo one was there. The guy told me to hook my trailer up and take a picture abd send it to him. I did. Hitch came off and hit the back of my suv and caused damage, I have a insuran5claim with your insurance company to fix my vehicle
James MRaj was very accommodating with pick-up time requests. Van and Tow Dolly was available - everything else I requested/rented was not available?! Location was out of the way which ended up adding extra KM's not planned for resulting in an extra charge. I booked at a location closer to home a month in advance - there were numerous other locations closer to home - yet sending us out to nearly Markham to pick up a vehicle was not cool when we live downtown Toronto! Cab overall was clean except the melted chocolate bar left in one of the cup holders. It was nice to drive a brand new vehicle with that 'new car smell' still in it. Other than the minor inconveniences it was overall a satisfactory experience.

Jeffrey RSent an email to customer service and the email attached to receipt about our concerns. Equipment was not properly put on, chains were frail, and one of the hooks were broken. A neighbour noticed these things for us and we had to go to a different location to have things fixed. If our neighbour didn’t notice we could’ve been injured or worse and also could’ve injured other people. Very unhappy with our experience.
