The previous rental at ameripawn had no keys. U haul was quick to respond and move my reservation. However I was offered a half refund that I was not provided. I need to follow up on that.
Matthew CPick up of the truck was smooth, lady was nice. Truck was clean. Now driving the truck was a different story. Once the truck was up to speeds of 60+ the truck would buck, you could feel the truck shifting gears. It was loud. I returned the truck because I didn’t feel comfortable driving it. I had already loaded many HEAVY items on to the truck. I was told the only option was to get another truck. The lady was nice and helped me. Because of the issues with the truck I was late picking my son up from school in order to cut down on the per min late charge from the school. I had to call for someone else to pick up my child. The money I paid for helper I lost because I paid them up front and they had to leave for another job site because I was not home. Then when I called and asked for some $ off because of the issues with the truck I was told she would call me back.! Nothing!! So I called U-Haul directly and was told that the field agent SAID the truck was working fine and it was rented out after myself. I explained to the customer service rep that I have rented over 25 U-Haul trucks before and this one was by fast the worst. This experience has made me never want to rent from U-Haul ever again. Of course let them tell it the truck was working fine since this was one of their bigger trucks that they didn’t want to have taken out of use on a busy first week of the month.

Shane WI have never had to take my own photos of the truck I am renting. I was unable to follow the app., and when I went in to advise the woman at the desk that I was having trouble, she told me "well don't do it". Very disappointed in the lack of help.

MEAGAN BOn a Sunday morning I had a 9:30 pick up for a 20’ truck. While there were several people ahead of me, her clam and professional demeanor made at me ease and while I’m a patient person, made me feel even more patient. While I was stressed about my task, she was patient with me and explained things in a way I didn’t feel like an inconvenience. I appreciated her immensely. Give that woman a RAISE!
HEATHER GI’m sure it is cost prohibited, but cruise control would have been a fantastic addition for such a long time driving. Otherwise, the truck was well maintained, clean, and ran great. Also, the helpful stickers in the can were very informative. Thank you to the staff for being friendly, informative, and answering all my questions!

She went above and beyond, to hep me troubleshoot issues with truck availabilities. I would truly only return to that location for future U-Haul reservations.

APRIL DSetting up the reservation was easy. Contract was explained well. The truck was clean and easy to drive. Would recommend to a friend. Convenient location.

TRACY KThis whole experience was frustrating from the start. I reserved a truck online only to get a call later to inform me the location I chose to pick up my truck did not have the truck available that I reserved online. If the truck was not available from that location I should not have been able to chose that option from that location. I chose another location with the representative that had called to inform me my original location was unavailable. I chose another location with the representative on the phone and received a text and email confirmation guaranteeing my truck only to receive an email and text 2 days later indicating my pick up location at yet another location. I called the 800 number to question why the location was changed again. The representative I spoke to was unable to tell me why and transfered me to scheduling where I was on hold 45 minutes just to be disconnected. I called scheduling directly only to be on hold yet another 50 min to yet again be disconnected after 45 min. I called scheduling again and was on hold over 60 minutes so I voluntarily ended the call. The next day I called scheduling again and was finally able to speak to a representative who could not give me a clear answer as to why my location for pick up was changed the second time other than my second location did not have the reserved truck available but guaranteed I would have a truck for pickup on the day needed. When I went to the location to pick up my truck the location was closed. Thank goodness I was able to figure out how to rent the truck after business hours as there was no instructions on how that is done given beforehand through either email or text. Once I logged in to retrieve the truck the website wasn't working properly and I had to enter pictures and information 4 or 5 different times before it finally went all the way through. Then when I get thr truck there was no dolly in the truck that I had reserved. I had to call the location the following day and make an extra trip to that location to pick up the dolly which was yet again very frustrating and inconvenient. Then of course when I drop the truck off the location was closed and thankfully I was able to figure out how to return the truck after business hours. Again, no email instructions on how to do this so the less tech savy person would have had trouble returning the rental. This whole experience was definitely not convenient. Do better uhaul!
Cariann MEasy, straight forward on the web part of the reservation . At the time of pickup, the owners were helpful and pleasant and we were on our way. Dropping off also quick and easy. Much easier than I previously remember getting a truck a few years back. Thanks!
JULIE WParking is a little tight when returning vehicles. If I had parked my personal vehicle a little farther south, I would not have been able to get it out when leaving.

Considering how cost effective and easy it is to rent a small utility trailer for yard work, chores, etc, I'll be renting here fairly often from now on. Might even use one to haul extra gear for camping trips or similar, not much room for gear in a 2 door Bronco, LOL!
