LISA RMy return process could have been better. I rented two identical trucks and the return process would not tell me the equipment number so I could be sure I was uploading photos of the correct vehicle

Mark SThe lot was super icy. Understanding the snow storm but it was well after. I barely could make it to the key drop off box. Literally crawled so I wouldn’t slip

David YWhen we drove the truck off the lot, we noticed that the check engine light was on and stayed that way. We called for assistance from U-Haul’s main number and were told “drive it until it breaks down. Then call for assistance on the road.” We called the road side assistance to ask a technician and were told the same thing. Luckily it just had no ABS or traction control. Cruise control turned off because the ABS light stayed on. Personally, when driving 450 miles, I’d prefer a truck with no lights and maybe a better customer service rep that would understand that idea.
Rebekah GTruck was filthy dirty. Had tobacco inside. Truck has over 158k miles and drives rough.
Robert RTerry is always so easy to work with. He is SUPER kind and ALWAYS so helpful. I rent trucks from Terry quite often because my business requires hauling a lot of inventory to jobs sites. Terry makes the rental process seamless ! I am in and out of his store in no time and ready to start the job at hand! I will never forget one super cold, icy morning last winter, Terry had the windshield cleared of thick ice and the truck warmed up for me! He truly is the best!
Alysia WWe dropped off after hours as the location was close to our destination. I will go there if I have future needs for renting a van or truck.

Geri HI wasn’t sure if I could leave my personal vehicle at this location while I was using the moving truck. Owners never returned my calls so I had to leave it somewhere else because there were signs all over that it could be towed.

Kristopher CIt took almost an hour for us to pick up our truck. Our pickup time was 9AM and we didn't receive the truck until 9:40AM. Everyone that I called at Uhaul for customer service was wonderful and they were the ones that helped us schedule the pickup and helped with the return when we had tech problems. The only downside was the sheer amount of time it took to pick up the vehicle.

jeffrey bThe vehicle was in poor condition. Left turn light on dashboard was permanently lit. Another warning light on dashboard was also on. Driver door would not close properly unless it was slammed shut repeatedly. No Dolly available.

Brett RTrailer worked great. Not happy being charged the extra for insurance (safe tow $24.00). We specifically denied insurance when 1st making the reservation. Don't know why it was on there when he ran my card but he never asked anything. Once I saw it on my receipt, they guy said it's too late to take off Total bill way higher than I planned due to this insurance scam.

RHONDA BBut the gas was not on 3/4 of a tank when I drove it off so I fill it where it was then I got charged 21 dollar for 4 gal of gas

paul MThe self check process was a pain. I had to call customer service twice. They were both very helpful. The truck had dirty floorboards and trash behind the seat. There was a hole in the cargo area which had been duct taped but there was a hole in the tape. The truck ran very rough. I was worried about being able to complete the trip.
SUSAN HThe steering wheel was put on wrong. I was driving straight while the wheel was turned almost 90 degrees to the left. I put gas in the uhaul and the gas gauge didn’t move. I’ve called 5 times and no answer. I visited the store to discuss the issue and nobody was there. They then charged me for not filling the truck back up. I’m very upset with the maintenance on the truck. It was completely dangerous to drive. I still can’t get ahold of anyone.
Nycia FI was fine with this location however I was EXTREMELY disappointed that the original place we were sent which was the Louisville Trailer wash at 1320 East Main St. in Louisville KY did not actually have 24/7 pickup and hopefully this problem is fixed! After we went there I had to wait for a call back and then we were sent over to this location in Indiana. I had already driven 1.5 hours and ended up having to go about an hour out of the way. We came very close to losing the cabinets we had originally went to pick up as the person waiting on us was getting tired of waiting. We were supposed to meet at 5:30 but ended up being an hour late.

Brandon RYou all changed my drop off point which cost us nearly an hour of extra travel time. I was on hold forever, then transferred to the wrong person and put on hold again. And someone added something to the account changing the price from $89 to $120. Now I’m going to have to call again and probably be put on hold to straighten that out.
