I was cat called by a man on the speaker there. I was spoken to with disrespect and rude comments. I will be calling the owned of the company to complain. I was spoken to like I'm a piece of trash over a loud speaker!! I would like to file a complaint. I don't think this place is a good place to represent UHaul! I would rethink using them. Vile disgusting men who have no respect for women.

The people at the front desk are a bunch of dicks!!! They think that because they work for a police impound and they probably have a bunch of cop friends, that they can speak and do whatever they want. Bunch of assholes that need to talk that shit in your face, not behind no glass! Pussies in that spot. Please don't remove this review. I NEVER EVER give a negative review,I'd much rather be going to a local gym and and box for a few rounds without getting arrested. I promise you, them soft ass mofos in that spot will definitely be more professional!!! Thank God for cameras all over the damn place!!! Hmmmmm.

The truck was clean, but needed some sweeping. The truck had a dent on the right side of the box and a cracked mirror. It would be nice to let me know about those details at the counter rather than noticing it by myself.

Location was moved to a different city, 2 days prior to the rental date, without notice. Self-checkin took an hour, and the customer service personnel CALLED MY MOTHER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT, EXPECTING HER TO PICK UP THE PHONE. Two dollies and 3 dozen blankets, which I had already paid for, were missing from the truck. I arranged to pick up the missing equipment from my local Brooklyn U-Haul, and was reassured that they're holding the equipment for me. However, upon arriving to the Brooklyn location, they notified me that they're out of dollies and can't do anything about it.

When i reserved, i chose Parsippany to pick up the vehicle, But i was asked to go pick up the vehicle in Newark, it was little inconvenient. Also they do not have supplies(Blankets) in Newark location, so i had to go to different location to rent the supplies. It was little inconvenient

I reserved at a DIFFERENT location, and without calling me U-haul changed the location to one that is 7 miles away. Not only that, the changed pickup location was in Newark, which is a high crime area I'd rather not go to. Additionally, the furniture pads and dollies I rented were NOT in the vehicle when I picked it up. Because it was 6am and the location was not staffed yet, there was no one I could talk to about that.

The first thing would be to check the vehicle before it goes out. The truck had no air conditioning, power and a fuel leak. When I called them to complain they said they just clean the vehicle. They don't check for mechanical issues that could be extremely dangerous like fuel leaks.

Closed the fuck down. Messed my whole reservation up. Placed someone else Info under my reservation. Which is clearly the worst thing you can do. And no one provided me any information before leaving and when dropping off I got charged extra! Have my truck away to wrong person. It was a shitty experience.

There was a bit of confusion when we picked up the vehicle. I had done an online check-in but the system had not cooperated so there was a bit of frustration with the person at this location. I believe it was more Uhaul's issue.

Will never go here again don't even know how they are a U-Haul pick up location. They gave away our truck and added more stress to an already stressful day. We had to pay extra for our movers since we were delayed over an hour waiting for our truck to get back. What is the point of even reserving a truck if it can be given away so easily. Lucky the person brought it back if not we would had to have someone from U-haul approve a 15 foot truck which would have taken hours since I was on hold with them for 45 minutes. We have to move again in 2 weeks and I'm looking for another company to go with because of this experience

The agent I worked with was very professional and took care of all the formalities quickly and efficiently. Everyone I encountered at the agency was quite pleasant. All the supplies I requested were in the truck ready to go when I received it. I did a one way, long distance rental and the vehicle was in excellent condition and ready to go. The whole process took about twenty minutes. Would strongly recommend these people and their agency.

Lots of hidden fees that made the rental double the price. I declined coverage and I was charged, I wasn't informed of “extras” fees and it was total not worth it.
