Make it easier to pick up trailers at location by having better payment options- Credit and debit. Person running the rental was very busy with other chores. The rental process was more painful than it should have been by having to run to town for cash for a deposit and waiting for farm operations to cease to get on the way.

Shayne SUhaul in general was absolutely horrible this time. Every time I booked a truck they are like ok good pick it up here and then 3 times changed the size of truck I wanted and the rates are insane now that they took away the book for what you need and pay a base rate. Now it's by KMs and daily rate. Hopefully don't have to use in the future as been a customer for over 29 + yrs.

Larry tOther locations have the trucks cleaned iff and ready ti go this one we had to clean off the snow and their was no snow brush in the truck. The process was time consuming even though iit was originally booked ionline..office was actually in someone’s house and the internet connection was shitty. Slowest service I have experienced. I have used U-Haul before and the service was excellent ( this was at the flying J location in Calgary near douglastale) if all gal experiences are supposed to be the same excellent service then the Stettler location needs to step it up a few notches.
Amanda PNo communication with provider, no internet service out there, called number 780-272-2685, called again no response, called again to drop off truck, no response, dropped truck off on Dec 7 th at 2:00 pm, couldn’t get ahold of no one, left message on ubove number, finally got ahold of bar diamond at 9:30 Dec 8th to tell her that I left truck there on Dec 7 at 2:00 pm, said she would check it out, when I picked truck up it was covered in snow, I had to go to a blue van to get my own moving blankets, dolly ghat was under snow!! I am so mad about this experience with uhaul, have rented several times before but this was the worsts experience I have ever had !! No impressed!!!

Roger PCheck wiring on trailer lights. Have someone actually available. Have someone who doesn't act like a crackhead when they call with the wrong reservation date. Not triple bill for a 4x8 trailer that was used for 20 hours. Refuse to resurrect the situation. By far worst experience!!!

JOHANNA CThere was no one there!!!!!!!! Had to contact a dispatcher for the sign up process via cell phone. Very poor cell reception, Could not receive the document to sign for the trailer. Took about an hour to finally get the trailer. No one there to help hook up the trailer. How does a person hook up a trailer by himself.???No jack on trailer hitch, Had to find blocks of wood to be able to lift the trailer hitch by my self. I would not recommend any one to get a trailer from this location!!!!!

Allen II called the number listed on line during posted business hours. Agent appeared to make UHaul their last priority, berated me for interrupting her trade show and for not having an appointment, was unwilling to check availability, told me her kids weren’t her slaves, and wanted me to drive 30 minutes to see what *might be in her yard and then dial the number posted on her door to get help from someone else if there was anything there. Negative stars, if that’s an option.
David MI know we had a huge snowfall the night before, but the trolly, key box and truck were almost impossible to access. they have tractor on the property so they should have cleared a path for all three of those spots. The snow was literally up to my knees. You moved the time of my pick up by two hours because of the person who needed the truck before me and it really threw me because I only had the boys to move my furniture in and out for three hours. And of course, that wasn’t enough time for them. So needless to say, this all took a very stressful event and multiplied it by 10 fold

Shelford WI have a video of rain was coming inside of the truck. I got wet completely while i was driving. Also, they charged me for 2 days although i didn't use two days. My transaction is under dispute. Its such a bad experience.

alex pOnly 5 of the requested 24 blankets were available. The truck was booked for a trip from Stettler Alberta to Langley British Columbia. It has Summer tires on it, winter tire are REQUIRED from Oct1-Apr30 on all mountain highways in BC!
Bruce Pthe on-line drop off didnt work - so left the keys in the bowl outside and hoped that I wouldn't get charged an extra day I would recommend a more secure method in off hours.
Janice WOffer refund if the trailer is used for fewer days than expected. I rented a trailer for two days but only needed it for one and returned it a day early and was told I couldn’t be refunded. That is disappointing.
daram vWw Woke the employee up in am she stated she work nightshifg, we did have a 10 apt Triuck wasnt pulled out n ready for us was garbage in it and the ramp had excess amount of oats n feceal matter not sure if mice or used to transport animals l Employee told me to go put oil I. Truck cuz light low oil on, when I called to ask what oil cuz sticker was off Employee told me call uhaul ask she didn't know. When calling uhaul they said I'm not allowed to put oil in and waited in gas station 1 hr 1/2 sitting in truck. When uhaul called back an said its going to be another hour wait then allowed me to drive to house to load. My 3 helpers had to work an it was to late for them to help me . On arriving at address the baxk tires l just spiinned on the road flat road I sent picture and had to get a neighbor to help me get backed up , i Sent pictures of tires it was unbelievable no traction on the main road. Uhaul roadside assit arrived and 2 pm and said truck need 4 liters and left to go buy oil and come back fill up and directed driver to back up to get unstuck. All Employees sorry .ecept from the lady i picked trick up atlt. This situation should never have happened. I called said I need a free extra day I can't move this evening and drop off truck iam the driver not the one paying and moving . That was odd as well. When I said to uhail Employee iam the driver my daughter moving and paying she replied that makes it complicated , so she said I need to be the renter cuz iam the driver which I found out isn't true, since I couldn't drive on Monday my daughter had to get another driver an add to account that I had access too. My daughter ended up hiring 2 males in reddeer where she moved to help unload cuz here helpers all worked Monday. This was not perfessional in Any way Very hard on a single mom an baby my daughter. The uhal Employee we picked it up from was friendly but just not maintaing and doing her job with prep of vehicle who's renting .
Tamarym II had rented a rather large enclosed trailer. I assumed it would be equipped with normal equipment for such a trailer, such as a jack to lift the tongue up to the hitch. Disappointingly such was not the case. While still reasonably strong a 80, help from a fit 30 something was barely sufficient to lift it. Secondly, this is Canada, leaving the tongues and hitch mechanism laying in the snow and ice may well compromise safe hitch up. When I returned the trailer, I brought a bar to pry it off my hitch and let the tongue fall down into the snow and ice. The trailer also had one of the rear clearance lights out.
Jack WThe staff was good to deal with but the tires on the truck were very unsafe due to winter driving conditions with summer, almost bald tires.

Scott MThe woman who called was very short with me and rude. We dropped the trailer off where we thought it should go (by the rest of the trailers) but apparently it wasn’t close enough to the highway. I did apologize for the misunderstanding but the woman hung up on me. We have always had pleasant service at uhaul until this encounter. Hopefully she was just having a bad day and doesn’t treat all of her customers this way.

Bruce RHave communication between all uhaul reps and the dealers. The dispatch and customer service team gave different information than the pick up location and I had to call back and forth to figure out my own issues when that should have been done internally. You do not need added stress when moving. Also we were supposed to pick up in Hinton area. We were aware they might not have a uhaul in Hinton but the rep on the phone at the time of booking said we will make sure there is one close in the area for you if not. Two days before our only option to pick up was stettler Alberta (4.5 hours away). Luckily my mom was able to pick up the uhaul as they live in Red Deer. But we were based in McBride BC. Honestly the whole set up and pick up experience was awful and I don’t think I will be using uhaul again.

Ritchard NThe owner of this pick-up location did not return either call I made after leaving a message to do so. I had no clue that I was to make a phone call upon arriving at their location to do an over-the-phone check in, because they didn't return my call when I started the check-in process. I checked in online thinking that was all I needed to do when I couldn't get a hold of anyone, and drove out to the location at the time of pick-up. Luckily someone at customer service was able to help me and get in touch with someone who could sign out the truck for me, when no one was on site where the truck was. This person was very helpful and patient with me.
Shonna BThe location is easy to find access. Nobody around to due up the contract. Had to call a fellow by the name of Simon in Edmonton as I was unable to access the contract.without filling out a membership. This was a little inconvenient.
