U-Haul Truck and found that theside mirrors were ver adequate at looking at traffic to the right and the left. I noticed that in the left mirror you have the height of the vehicle "11 Feet"plus metric "3.4m" for the actual height of the truck. Filling the gas tank up was a breeze with the particcular sinage of which side the gas filler side is. Great to Excellent overall safety built in.

Great experience! Very easy and quick to get in and out. The employee outside (named Courtney) was extremely nice and helpful in getting the trailer mounted and checked. I had to purchase a trailer hitch and a plug adaptor which they had for sale in the office at a very reasonable price. Kudos to all of you at U-Haul of Stamford, CT!

This is the worst "office" I have ever walked in to! There is garbage and garbage bags in the immediate area - then the actual office is the most unclean space I have seen with a desk that is so piled with papers and stuff. The shelves are overflowing with crap and there are tissues on the floor as well as indescribable objects. Please send a manager there to take a look because it makes the renting of a truck unpleasant. The truck - perfect, clean and new. .... but please have the guy clean himself and the space. it was exactly the same 3 years ago when I went to purchase moving boxes. As a customer - I have never seen anything like it.

I want to start by saying the staff at this location are outstanding—Don in particular is an absolute gem. Everyone there is professional, helpful, and goes above and beyond for customers. This feedback is in no way a reflection of their effort or attitude. Unfortunately, the condition of the truck itself was extremely concerning. The tires were completely bald, and the truck got stuck multiple times in light snow. At around 15 miles per hour, the vehicle began shaking severely, to the point where it felt unsafe to drive. The cup holder was also broken, and overall the truck felt unreliable, as if it could break down at any moment. Paying top dollar for a truck in this condition was very disappointing, especially considering I had to travel through snowy and mountainous areas. This wasn’t just inconvenient—it felt dangerous. Had the weather been worse, the situation could have been far more serious. Again, the staff deserves recognition, but vehicle safety and maintenance are critical. Regardless of mileage, trucks should be properly maintained—especially tires, alignment, and basic safety components. For the safety of future customers, these issues really need to be addressed.

I saw where someone earlier had given them 1 star because the office was disheveled... and it was! To the point of...wow, this is really interesting. But the representative there was as nice and friendly and helpful as he possibly could have been and the truck was clean and in great shape. So 5 stars!! Great job!

You rent a uhaul in a snowy day without the proper tires . This was an awful experience and the return was a pain as the app wasn't working and also been overcharged. I now have to call and fix your overcharged $. Totally a failure

Incredibly messy and very poorly organized. Credit card scanner did not work. Papers piled high all over the desks and floors, garbage on the door. Unexpectedly closed when I returned the trailer at 1pm when stated hours are til 5. Feels disorganized and unsafe. Will look for other locations.

The location and the people that worked there were wonderful, polite and helpful, however I find the two day minimum rental very frustraitng. I paid $179 including insurance for a rental I used for less than 24 hours and would like a refund for the extra day.
