There was a grounding wire problem for which roadside assistance fixed. Also, a couple of days into the rental I started smelling something in the cab that just wasn't right. Turned out to be a closed box of fishing chum behind the drivers seat.

I was sent information for a more convenient pick up location and then told this is the only place that would actually have a truck. Very frustrating however the person I spoke to on the phone at this location as well as who was working there was very nice, friendly, and helpful. The office was messy but in and out with no problem.

Quick and EZ drop-off did a great job in explaining extra mileage cost. As long as there is transparency, so that a customer can plan accordingly, I don't mind paying fees.

tried calling the 800 number for roadside assistance. was on hold for one hour. never an answer. tried calling reservations and they said they could not connect as well. BAD. No one ever answers the customer service number. we were in a place with no internet.

Although the lady who handled the drop off was very polite, she advised me they were closed at 5:30 when I arrived - whereas the U-Haul website had their hours listed open until 6:00 pm. She also claims she could not handle my receipts for the oil I had to buy due to the "check oil" light. She suggested contacting U-Haul regarding this.

I returned the truck around 6:15 on Sunday night via the website return feature. I never received a receipt for the truck return, and never received a confirmation that the truck was received and whether any additional charges would apply. Again, the website truck return feature is terrible and needs a complete re-write. I had to call customer service AGAIN this morning to receive a receipt and acknowledgement that the truck was received. I was on hold for over 12 minutes waiting for a representative just to get a confirmation and receipt that should have been sent to me via email. Overall, my satisfaction with the level of service I received would be about one half on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being totally dissatisfied. Your website is a disgrace.

Dom and Ed were so wonderful! Our original pick-up location was Norwalk and I was distressed when we had to go to Stamford. Dom offered to stay open late for me or have Ed meet me early the next day to facilitate our tight time frame. Equipment was new and clean. Can't say enough thank-yous!!

While this location was convenient for me and had a zillion uhauls on property, the office was absolutely disgusting! I never got into the office- I only saw it through a window. I returned the truck in the middle of the day and there was no one there, but there was a cell number to call on the door.... no answer and the mailbox was full. I dropped the keys in the box and had to follow up twice for a receipt. The man that answered the first time seemed annoyed that I was bothering him, however the next day the woman I talked to was kind and helpful.

My experience was awful. I had to move, and had hired people for my move for a specific day, so I reserved a 26' truck. To my surprise, the truck was not available when I showed up at 8am for pickup. The manager didn't care. Not only the truck was not available, but they didn't have a 20' either, so I ended up forced to rent 2 trucks instead (17' and 15') and had to pay double the mileage than if I had rented just the 26' truck. Be aware that your reservation doesn't have any value.
