The U-Haul truck was clean in the cab and the box space, but not maintained in that the front tires were severely bald. The left front tire was bald on the inside half while the right front tire was bald on the outter half. The steering wheel was off to the left the entire drive. It was an alignment issue. The mechanics at the return location said I was very lucky I didn't experience a blowout on my drive, especially considering I drove through Snoqualmie Pass at night during a blizzard. I felt the slickness at that time. Some potholes were terrifying and I was afraid for my life. Furthermore, U-Haul hired me to do a transport job of the heaviest trailer load known to all employees. I transported the loaded trailer from Bozeman, MT to Chelan, WA through the mountains and passes. It was a very hard job of driving considering the alignment issue. I am now dealing with very sore shoulders in the days following. A bonus for my dedicated excellence in completing the job would be nice... Say another $225 to make the entire payout $1000. Otherwise, the job was a great opportunity for me to learn new things. Thanks.

Staff at Barlow Auto in Rainier, WA were friendly and had moving blankets and trailer ready to go when I showed up a little early. Simple signature was all that was needed since all necessary documents were completed previously on the U-Haul app. They hooked up the trailer and confirmed all lights were working. I definitely recommend setting up a U-Haul account and app as all communication is text or e-mail. Overall it was a positive experience and the 5x8 trailer pulled great the entire 2600 mile trip.
