Even though I signed up to pick the vehicle up from the app, I was unable to at the time I wanted. I had issues with the app, and when customer service finally fixed the issue, the vehicle was locked. I had to wait until the store opened to get the key. The guy apologized for his error, which is why I rate them average.Trent M.

Barrett's is completely filthy dirty and so was the man that runs it. He was terribly RUDE. I would never go back to this location. Would never recommend this location to anyone. He jerked my paperwork away from me and would not give it back or make a copy for me. No excuse for this kind of behavior!!!JENNIFER H.

The equipment was not up to the job that we described. The dolly was not big enough for the 1978 F250 that we went after. One of the tires went flat, and the truck slid off, puncturing a $300 tire and a tow truck had to help get the truck back on the dolly(another $250.Because there was no response from U-haul, we also had to purchase a tire for the dolly. A 10 hr. trip turned into a 36 hr. trip.phillip S.

The pickup wasn't set up, the location didn't have a computer, and I had to spend 45 minutes on the phone with Customer Service, speaking to 3 different representatives all over the country to try and get this resolved.TIMOTHY T.
The gentleman I met here walked me through the details of dropping off the truck we rented using the UHaul app. It was helpful that they were open on Sunday and able to receive the truck and guide me through the drop off.GREGORY D.

I was disappointed I didn't receive discount price on renting an auto transport in addition to the truck. The dealer was unable pair two rental items (TM & AT) with one contract with in the U-Haul dispatching system thus two separate contracts were used.James L.

The person who was helping the checkout of the truck was extremely rude and used vulgar and abusive language. He was upset about something and was taking it out on the customers like myself.Khalid S.
This was the worst experience I have ever had renting. At pick up the gentleman was rude and said â€œ I don't have any rental for this morningâ€. This was not a great way to start off my first uhaul rental. Once returned I was charged $70.50 for gas because he stated that is was at half a tank however when we picked it up it was below half. Please make sure you take a picture. During our rental we put $60 or 18.49 gallons which was more then enough to cover the 373 miles we used the truck. The 10ft. rental absolutely REEKED of weed. My wife and I both got headaches. By the time we were finished loading, traveling, and unloading it had improved (we also sprayed a ton). We drove with the windows down. The site was not spacious and was very disheveled; once we got the owner's attention, he was nice but it was definitely understaffed.Marc C.

This is the 2nd time in 3 months that I have booked with uHaul - different locations and the pickup of the vehicle has been a total cluster. Poor customer service (or let's say no customer service)LISA D.
I asked for a face to face check in. However, there was no one there. So, after calling support I had to check in online. She was very nice on the support call and said after I checked in online I would then get a code for a lock box. There was no lock box. The key was simply under the drivers seat. That is completely unsafe and UHaul should stop using this location.Jason W.

The employee that assisted with the transaction (Pete) was very rude since we were unable to get the 24/7 mobile pick up option to work. The unit did not have the dolly equipment as requested. Additionally, the mileage out on the unit did not match what we were charge. We were charged for an additional 50 miles when I only drove 25... I have pictures to verify the mileage out and mileage in. Overall ,very unpleasant experience. I will not ever use U-haul for future moving needs, nor will I ever recommend anyone to use this service.Jeremy W.

I've been renting trailers and trucks from U-Haul for many years now and I've rented from U-Haul from many different locations and I have to say this U-Haul location was the worst U-Haul experience I've ever had. The man running the location was as rude as they come. I had scheduled my rental for 3:30 pm and I arrived at the location at about 3:10 pm. The location was so nasty and dirty and looks nothing like any U-Haul location I've even been in, so when I went in I asked the man if this was where I pick up my U-Haul rental and he said, â€œYesâ€. He then threw his coat on and said, â€œBut you're out of luck, I'm leaving in 5 minutes and don't have time. He then said, â€œWhat do you want anyway?â€ I told him that I had an order number and a reservation for 3:30 and he said, â€œNo, you don'tâ€, I don't have any reservations.â€ I said I have the emails and order confirmation on my phone and he said wait a minute and let me go look. He then walks around the corner to what appears to be a closet with a computer in it and said, â€œWell come around the corner and come in here so I can see youâ€ He said, â€œWell when I came in this morning, there was no reservationsâ€ But then he found my reservation and was pretty rude during the entire transaction. He wasn't happy that he had to deal with getting the trailer and dolly for me. I live 5 minutes from this location, but will drive 15 minutes to the next closest U-Haul so I never have to return again. Either that, or I'll find a new rental company. I do have to say that when I contacted U-Haul about the experience they were quick to respond and apologized for the bad experience and I appreciated that.TIM B.

The location itself is a bare bones tow and repair shop, so it isn't much to brag about. The operator, however, is honest and fair. Don't mess with him and he won't mess with you. He's also very accommodating if called ahead with any adjustments needed that are in his control. Other than that, U-Haul makes the rental and return process pretty easy if you use the app.Roger A.
The old man at Barrett's was not friendly nor helpful and made it seem like it was a burden for him to help complete the rental. I told him I did not receive my packing pads. I've called the uhaul number multiple times to be reimbursed for the pads.... poor service altogether.Luke L.

Clerk/Owner was rude and seemed very bothered that I was even there. The facility was cluttered and filthy. I got the same cold shoulder when I returned the equipment. CoVid infection rate is high in this area. Clerk did not wear a mask. The store was so cluttered that you could not keep a 6-foot distance. I will never use this location again.
