I had trouble doing the self check in, there was a problem with the web sight not recognizing my account. I had to call for help. The customer service rep told me to choose the setting "no account" and use my contract number instead of my phone number and password. That allowed me to complete the self check in. I am curious why we go through the process of setting up an account only to be told not to use it. And I was on hold for 28 minutes to get to speak to a customer service rep.FRANKLIN D.
I had originally signed up to pick up my truck at a different location. However upon arriving there at the scheduled time that was listed on my confirmation and trying to use the app I was informed it would not be available until that facility opened in an hour. While waiting I received a text to pick up my truck another half hour later and listed the address. Luckily I noticed that the address was different as nowhere in the message did it indicate that my reservation was being altered or that the pickup location had changed. The pickup itself went smoothly but it was 90 min later than the reservation was for at a different location and in none of the communications to me was there any language to the effect of â€œyour reservation pickup location time or location has changedâ€Charles H.

The folks at the location were great, the truck on the other hand is in rough shape. Pretty they need to check the fuel mixture on this one and the headlights were mere suggestions to the darkness. Would not have accepted this equipment if going long range.CHAD S.

30 minutes before returning the uhaul truck, the uhaul ace barry hardware store attempted to charge my credit card for $17.00 without my knowledge. Luckily my card was locked so no funds were removed. Then for the next 3 days the store tried to charge my card for $0.83. I was not aware I owed almost a dollar. I called the store 4 days later and they emailed me a receipt finally showing me what I owe $0.83 for.Brittney H.

The man we spoke with seemed pretty confident in what he knew. He said the dolley I ordered is included in the price and all we had to do was take pictures of any damages and go. We did that and got back to my house to begin loading and couldn't find the dolley anywhere. When I called UHaul, the man knew right away that he forgot to put the dolley in and said we can ride the truck back up to pick it up and he won't charge for the mileage - why would he charge mileage for his error? Then he said well, whether you come and pick up the dolley or not, I won't charge you. Due to the huge inconvenience it would have been to go back and get it as I was all packed and my friends were there ready to help, I didn't go back. I called first before returning to and asked a store associate if it was just the dolley being taken off or if the UHaul associate was going to offer something else for the inconvenience and said no, that's all he's offering. Between that and the reason I called to cancel the movers UHaul suggested who tried to get me to change the time because it interrupted their football watching time, I won't be recommending UHaul to anyone.Chelsey M.

Truck was dirty, but there was bad weather. The appearance doesn't affect the use of the truck. A truck dolly should be included in every truck without additional charge no matter what size the truck. That location should have pick up trucks available and not just big box trucks. Other than that, Natasha was very friendly and helpful.TIFFANY W.

I like make reservations again for my future and have it ready to go when I arrive there. I most get 10 ft trucks several times and this is my first time for use cargo van and I really enjoyed driving and it is better and easier to see bigger mirrors in both sides of the doors and smaller van is great, If cargo van available in the future for me if not then 1 10 ft truck is good. This was also my fault to because the uhaul employee told me It wthe truck has been stolen and drove all around town has dents everywhere and I'm the last person they are going to rent it out it's going for sale the milage is worn out , I should've said nevermind and went somewhere else but he said I should have no problem so I trusted uhaul word , so when I rented this truck it kept stopping on me and it jerk here and there , I got stranded at night for over 1 hour called road assistant , the next morning I was told to take the uhaul to 19th Ave on Hatcher to fix it or exchange for a cargo van that works but the store was to busy and couldn't help me so I was stuck with the van , I lost out on business opportunities due to this issue $800.00 lost ,, I think uhaul needs to pay me $800.00 and give me 2 free credit days on a rental. THE ABSOLUTE WORST U-Haul experience I have had, and I have rented at least 25 trucks from them. Will NEVER go back to this place. I loved the personnel at Barry's Ace Hardware/UHaul. Very accommodating and understanding. Great people and spoke to about 4 employees. This is for UHaul corporate ONLY. I drove residential streets. I drove 13 miles. I filled the tank. 4.4 gallons. Either your truck gets less than 3 miles per gallon or the tank was not full at the beginning. When I pointed this out to the Ace Hardware employee, he either acted or was truly confused and was non plussed about it. I got a Sucks To Be You attitude. I an a 35 year customer there.KENNETH F.
