If people request an extension don't come steal their things when it's still inside the truck. Instead of calling and saying that you will pick up the truck you send a bullshit email saying you tried to get in touch when the fact is you didn't. Then when I called after they committed grand larceny to see where the truck was they told me they didn't know because they didn't send someone to get the truck and to report it stolen. After doing so the next day we called and find out they did in fact send someone to steal the truck with all of my personal belongings inside instead of calling me. Beyond unprofessional and should never be used.Dione B.

We used the vehicle for about 40 miles. We filled up the tank more than needed at his gas station when we got back. After we did this we got a bill for over $50 for a fuel service fee and fuel actual charge. Now we are jumping through hoops and on the phone and emails trying to get that back. I would rent somewhere else than this place. He might have just "made a mistake" but it is a pain.Brian C.

First the guy in store won't not check out my truck told me not after 8 so I had to do it online and than I wanted a 10 foot truck! And they only had 15 it said it was substitute for the 10 foot and I got charge for the 15 talk to Dustin the AFM and he wouldn't do nothing was rude and nasty he don't even deserve to have the jobâ€¦. Better costumer service don't care if it's only 10 dollars! U-Haul needs better workers and need to train on customer serviceJacquelyn E.

The truck was not on site when I was supposed to pick it up. I waited for 3 hours and 45 minutes until it arrived and I only found out that it arrived because I called to ask about it. The truck was filthy and the seats were covered in broken glass which cut me even though I tried to clean it off. The low fuel light was engaged because it only had 1/8 tank when I got it and the gauge read â€œ34 miles to emptyâ€. I turned it in yesterday with 1/8 tank of gas and the warning said â€œ38 miles to emptyâ€ which means that there was slightly more gas in it when I returned it. My receipt shows a fuel charge and claims that I returned it with only 1/16 tank. I went over these details with the attendant and he knew that the fuel was accurate so I'm hoping that this was an honest error and not an attempt to steal from me. I have already filed a complaint about this and have not received any response. If I don't receive a response tomorrow then I will dispute the charge with my credit card company. This is a gas station that has Uhaul trailers. If you are by yourself or not very strong I would not recommend hitching a trailer b/c you may not have help. You need help, the trailer is heavy. Fortunately, the shop person was very nice & helped us when we picked up (in between running the whole store by himself). When we dropped the trailer off, a different shop person was going to help but he was busy. Not knowing how long he would be... my elderly Father & I took it off the hitch and parked it but it was again heavy to pick up and rolling it backward in the parking spot was not easy with the velocity of the weight bumping the parking lot stopper. We could have gotten hurt but luckily did not. No offense to the workers at this location, they do offer to help but they are also busy running the store. Prepare to do it on your own - hope you're strong.Lara C.

It would be appreciated to let customers know that your reservation is dropped if you show up more than 30 minutes late for pick up. Orlando has bad traffic and I had to make a new reservation even though I had a 10 hour reservation.NORA M.

Right away, the cashier refused to rent me the equipment, claiming it is for their local use. After waiting for 25 min on the phone to get some assistance to no avail and seeing the store was about to close, I agreed to drive hour and half the next day and return the trailer back to them. Only then, he realized what I am renting is not for local use and let me rent it one way. The worker who was supposed to help me was on something that could not even keep his eyes open, nevermind hooking the trailer. I had to help and tie up the trailer to my hitch to ensure the safe attachment. The next day, the station where I was supposed to return the trailer refused to accept it and I had to record him on my phone refusing, and keep the trailer till next day to return to one of Uhaul facilities. it seems, I paid and still worked for you instead of being a customer and getting the service I paid for. I wish I could give the experience negative stars!SASAN K.

We rented a car trailer online about an hour before we needed to get it and Akbar was extremely helpful and nice while helping us set up our very last minute rental. Highly recommend this location for any uhaul needs and will definitely come back if needed again.SOELL L.

When I arrived the man at the counter told me that he gave my truck to someone else 5 minutes before I arrived. He explained that it's first come, first serve and that if someone else comes ahead of another person with a reservation and will pay, then he gives them a truck. I then had to pay and extra $30 to get a giant truck when I had only reserved a 15' truck. A couple walked in right after me as he was giving away their reservation. I was able to upgrade to the larger truck but unfortunately there were no trucks lest in inventory for them, so they had to take a Lyft to another U-Haul location. The truck had trash and food in the cab and ran okay but did make a lot of engine noise and shuddered. It all worked out but I don't believe that Uhual would condone giving out reservations to people who show up within their window to pick up equipment on their already stressful move day. I ordered a 26' truck, 2 furniture dollies and a hand truck one month in advance of the move. On the day of the move, or arrival at the pick-up location, the truck was there but no dollies and no hand trucks - the moving crew that I reserved through U-haul had to spend extra time on my move because of this. It was pretty disappointing how I booked a location near my house, but a couple hours before the reservation you guys switched to a location that was a lot further away from my house. I chose mobile check-in, but the location for pick up closes at 9:30 so I had to rush over there to get the keys before the place closed. It's also interesting how you guys switch to a further place and you charge by the mile, that worked out well for you guys. Will look for a different one company next month when I move out the storage unitSpencer S.

The truck I rented was dirty, but otherwise fine (we cleaned it prior to return). U-Haul didn't ask (probably doesn't want to know) but they switched my rental location without informing me. THAT was a hassle and the main reason for the 3 stars. The Food Mart folks were great.MATTHEW L.

The location and truck itself were completely fine and satisfactory. The issue I had was with approving a secondary contact. It took 30 minutes to actually get approved, with my contacts receiving a call but then no one would say anything on the line and then hang up, then I would receive a message that my contact didn't pick up and to try again. It was rather frustrating. That process could use some TLC to be better.Amanda C.
It took over an hour to rent it due to the lady was working front window along with Uhaul window. She really needed help. Not her fault. It only had 1/4 tank so we filled it up to make sure cost 100.00 to do it. My mistake. Other than that , it was fine. You ended up with 3/4 tank left.CHASE S.
