This place was an excellent choice! Great staff, and they charged exactly what was quoted. That is very important, as I've had the experience of "unforeseen charges and the fine print". Not so with this location - very ethical, and honest. The owner even called me directly, to ask if I was satisfied with the experience. ABOVE & BEYOND!!

There was no one on site when I arrived. I had to call a number, which did not answer. 2 mins later a person showed up. It is confusing to call a specific location and have a different location answer.

When I arrived the cashier was having a extended long conversation with another customer that was totally inappropriate. When I got to the counter the cashier attempted to make advances towards me and when I returned the truck said he was “to high” because he was starring off in space while checking my truck in. When we attempted to give me change he asked me how much change he needed to give me with. The manger came (I assume) and was very professional and he was the one who advised how much change was suppose to be given.

No printer want to show me the contract on his phone. Upon return tried to charge me for over 100 miles. after I show him were I wrote the mileage out in my note book he changed it like he was doing me a favor. If the customer ask for a printed copy he should be able to give one. I warn all customer to write the mileage down before you leave also gas and compare it to your contract before you leave. If I have to go to another city to rent that is what I will do.

Scheduled for a 6am pick up with app. Truck was not left out or ready. Spend 1.5 hour on the phone and then was told I needed to wait until 9. The store attendant didn't arrive until after 9 and it's was 9:20 when I was finally give my truck. I reserved 2 packages of moving blankets and they didn't have any. Overall very poor

We were over charged by $70 and it took an act of Congress to get it fixed. The owner Mr. Bass is very kind and was very helpful but getting thru to Uhaul took an hour. And he has a problem with thievery And people siphoning the gas from his trucks. So ultimately we ended up getting overcharged. He needs better customer service and support from Uhaul.

The first location we were to drop off at was very scary. Not even called what it was labeled to be called. No one in the store. We called And they said to just leave the keys. So we found another drop off. That one was also very junky and unclean, but the employee was nice. U haul needs to Do visits of these facilities and close the ones that are sketchy.

More space or organized inside. However the customer service was great, polite and professional. It may be a mechanic shop as well which explains the in disorganization. But overall I was very pleased.

The problem was not really with the pickup location but with the fact that the pick up location was changed twice to a final location which was very far away from the original chosen location. After calling to double check if a change was possible, they forced me to go to Vallejo and the person over there, who was very kind, told me that I was lucky because even though the original request was not for a 20 footer truck, he had one available. The person I spoke with over the phone also told me that I was going to get an extra free day, extra mileage and $50 credit, but when I returned the truck, the app asked me for the extra mileage, mileage due to the distant pick up location. I understand the covid situation, but at least be more prepared with customers who had made their reservation way in advance with plenty of time for you to get ready.

Horrible experience with Uhaul. The truck I got the first time got a check engine light on after a mile out from the store, brought back they gave me another one and that was even worst had a check engine line on and it needed a change of oil. I took the original truck after they put a 1/4 of oil to see if that was enough to get me going since I was traveling from California to Florida. I got it at just below 3/4 of tank or so, went to fill it up so I can get it weight, gas started leaking from the hose that connects to the tank. I looks like someone cut the line to siphon gas of the truck so I had to wait until the tow truck company came out, they couldn't fix it on the spot so I had to drive it to their yard unload a portion of the truck so they could get it fixed. It was one delay after another by the time I finally hit the road to make my way to Florida it was 6pm couldn't get very far by then and I wasn't going to drive through the night to make up for lose time with my 6 month wife in the truck. I have yet to see the reimbursement from the gas I lost filling up the faulty tank and I was 2 days late to my arrival date which in fact I had to cancel hotel reservations because of all the delays. I called customer service and was suppose to get a call from the GM it's been over a week and not even a voicemail. When my wife call the location to speak with the person that gave us the truck she over heard someone in the background saying I told you I had a feeling someone was cutting the gas lines on the trucks. With that said it's obvious that they don't properly check vehicles before they hand them over to customers other than the usual gas meter and pictures. I would stay away from this place and I do not recommend it at all.

This was one of the easiest pickups and drop-offs that we've ever had. There was no wait and the man giving a service was very polite and helpful when my phone wasn't working properly. I will definitely be renting from here again.

The Vallejo location is not bad. I scheduled with U-haul an appointment to rent a truck a different location, but the day before I recieve an email telling me they changed the time of my rental. I called u-haul and said that was now going to work and they guarantee me that the Vallejo location will have the truck I need for my rental. When I get there to rent the truck, the truck I need is not at the facility and two other people are standing next to me for the same truck. I had to rent a smaller truck and make multiple trips. Horrible experience the smaller truck made it take way more time than it should have.

first let me say this review is not a reflection of the dealer at this location. I was grossly inconvenienced when I arrived at the designated pickup time and was told that the truck I was to rent was not there because the prior user had not returned it. What was upsetting that there was not plans in place to deal with this kind of situation. I tried 2 other uhaul and The first one had me on hold for over 30 min and the other location never answered the phone!!!! After some battening I was able to secure a truck at the original location but for 645 that night instead of 9am like I originally booked it for. Then the truck I drove was in dire needs of servicing. The alignment was off and the brakes felt as tho they were going to fail me at any time. Over all it was a terrible experience that I hope to never have to go through again

There was no one there to pick up the vehicle despite the U-Haul website telling me otherwise. When someone finally did show up, an hour later, they couldn't be bothered to wait 15min to DO THEIR JOB while I called my wife and had her send a picture which was now suddenly required but was optional when she filled out the form online. By the time I finally got the truck it was so late I had to add another day. When I went to return the truck he acted like he didn't remember adding a day which was his fault in the first place. Worst U-Haul/rental experience ever. Will not repeat. Will not use U-Haul again. The people I talked to on the phone at your costumer service were outstanding but this location is a joke and should not be allowed to represent U-Haul as a company. As now I never want to use it again and will be warning everyone I know to stay away.

Location is dirty, not very well maintained and we had to call a phone # in order to get the owner or worker to process the transaction and rental. I also attempted to return the rented pick up truck before closing hours and the shop had already closed with the gate already locked. There was supposed to be an attendant at the business until 5pm and I arrived before 5 but location was closed, which resulted in my having to pay for an extra day's rental.

The pick up procedure for the new 24/7 mobile phone service didn't work for me. I went through all the steps according to the directions but it didn't work & I had to wait for the site person to do a regular rental. The person on site was great because he had to come in almost an hour early to help me.

The guy at the place where the uvula was located was great. Uhaul customer service ruined my whole day. Told me I could pick up at 8 am and the shop didn't open till 9. I called and they hung up on me on three separate calls. Horrible customer service uhaul.

The cashier was very rude and down right disrespectful every question I asked she had a smart remark kept arguing with me and told me I must be stressed because I'm moving that is no way to talk to a paying customer Walked off the job. The owner and his wife was polite and helpful. That cashier needs to be fired

The service was average at best. Because of the process was slow and I didn't get a chance to fully inspect my vehicle which only came out to have the truck light out so it was hard to move stuff at night. On top of that, the vehicle was parked too close to the fence and it was hard for me to back out until the guy came and finally helped me out.
