The only thing I have a problem with is the 4 separate pending charges for one rental. 2 for the amount I actually spent & 2 for the estimated amount. I could understand one of each MAYBE but 4 separate pending charges for over $400 apiece us fucking ridiculous. That's $1200 of "pending" charges above & beyond the actual charge. Fucking stupid. I've rented from UHaul many times in my life & this is the FIRST time I've had 4 pending charges. Wtf.

COSTAS NI was set back for my day a little bit because the wrong keys were in the locker for me. I selected mobile pickup because store opened later than I needed. I called U-Haul and the situation was handled by assigning me to the truck that matched the keys. Was frustrating for sure but was handled within a half hour of my arrival.
William RThis location is familiar to me as I have picked up and dropped off before. The only issue I have is that the lot is very small, and I am expected to park the trailer with my truck in a very confined space with little help. Again, I was only dropping off at this location because the website wouldn’t let me chose the location closest to me, or this location either. It was the pickup location who was able to switch my drop off to here, but even they couldn’t select the location I wanted, nor could they explain why.
DAVID AI had zero issues with the Private location. They were direct and ready for business. Sorry if this rating affects the private business rating. It is not my intention. My average three star rating is for the corporate App appointment system. I would of rated it below average two stars but I feared it would reflect on the private business location. Sorry again if it does. I made plans which could not be changed to move residential locations based on my original u haul appointment. The app stated the truck was on location for my appointment pickup. An agent responded later by phone to arrange for a new location pickup because the truck was in fact not on location. No biggy still in the same town. I ask d the agent if the truck was physically at the new location and was verbally assured it was. After the new arrangement I received a second call stating the same thing had happened. The second location did not have a truck available. I had no choice but to make a third arrangement at the Valporaiso location which they were great and everything worked out but I had to to payout more for mileage because of the distant location. Sorry again if this affects the private location. You were great. They corporate app sucks for truthful availability.

BRYAN RI love BBU UHaul! Hannah & Salam & Karim are amazing. What I DON'T LIKE is UHaul contacting me saying they are moving my pick up to another facility (20 mins away where BBU is 5 mins away). Adriana was professional when I called to inquire why my booking was moved. She said it was because BBU did not have a truck for me. I spoke with Hannah and they did have a truck and it was reserved for me. Adriana said it must have been a scheduling miscommunication. She then connected me to scheduling. They tried to offer me 79 cents a mile to go to Portage. Why would I drive 20 mins out of my way. The 79 cents won't make a difference when I have to drive further. Also, this is the 3rd time UHaul has tried to move my booking. I will NOT use UHaul App to book ever again! I will also advise my friends and company to NOT use the app and to call BBU direct. If BBU did not have what I needed, then Hannah would have directed me where to get a truck. BBU is TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE! This is why I ONLY BOOK with BBU!

JASON BBe better informed on the vehicles that can be used. Our 2021 Camry hybrid now has a check engine light on because we used a tow dolly. We were told it wouldn’t be a problem. It’s a problem.
ANTHONY CEverything is great at this place fast service very well explained just the uhaul we we're rented did not drive great kept pulling to the right even before it got loaded up which wasn't not over all safe but the people are pleasant and very helpful
HAYLEY CMaybe I didn't read all the info that was sent to me by U-Haul, but filling out all the info, the alternate person, their phone number, would have been great to have it done prior to the day of. The U-Haul videos were helpful. It was overall a great experience.
Jonathan DThe 5x8 trailer we rented smelled like livestock animals. It had straw and mud on the inside floor and ramp area. The trailer did serve the purpose we rented it for and functioned properly.
DARICK DThe truck was clean and the staff was helpful. My only quibble is the Uhaul parking lot lacks parking for your vehicle when dropping or picking up a truck.

MICHAEL BYour personnel should not bill people for insurance when they did not request it on the original quote for service. I have purchased a hitch and rented 4 trailers on the past 6 weeks. This is a first for insurance charges

Matthew CPick up of the truck was smooth, lady was nice. Truck was clean. Now driving the truck was a different story. Once the truck was up to speeds of 60+ the truck would buck, you could feel the truck shifting gears. It was loud. I returned the truck because I didn’t feel comfortable driving it. I had already loaded many HEAVY items on to the truck. I was told the only option was to get another truck. The lady was nice and helped me. Because of the issues with the truck I was late picking my son up from school in order to cut down on the per min late charge from the school. I had to call for someone else to pick up my child. The money I paid for helper I lost because I paid them up front and they had to leave for another job site because I was not home. Then when I called and asked for some $ off because of the issues with the truck I was told she would call me back.! Nothing!! So I called U-Haul directly and was told that the field agent SAID the truck was working fine and it was rented out after myself. I explained to the customer service rep that I have rented over 25 U-Haul trucks before and this one was by fast the worst. This experience has made me never want to rent from U-Haul ever again. Of course let them tell it the truck was working fine since this was one of their bigger trucks that they didn’t want to have taken out of use on a busy first week of the month.

Shane WI have never had to take my own photos of the truck I am renting. I was unable to follow the app., and when I went in to advise the woman at the desk that I was having trouble, she told me "well don't do it". Very disappointed in the lack of help.

MEAGAN BOn a Sunday morning I had a 9:30 pick up for a 20’ truck. While there were several people ahead of me, her clam and professional demeanor made at me ease and while I’m a patient person, made me feel even more patient. While I was stressed about my task, she was patient with me and explained things in a way I didn’t feel like an inconvenience. I appreciated her immensely. Give that woman a RAISE!
HEATHER GI’m sure it is cost prohibited, but cruise control would have been a fantastic addition for such a long time driving. Otherwise, the truck was well maintained, clean, and ran great. Also, the helpful stickers in the can were very informative. Thank you to the staff for being friendly, informative, and answering all my questions!
