SAMUEL CAlthough making the reservation on line was easy as was the pick up and drop off.but some credit should be given for returning g the truck with more gas than started with or knowing the approximate miles they should give you an approximate amount of gas you should use

Kristin LThe U-Haul truck we rented had 276k miles, it drove very rough, made loud sounds, and the back door was very difficult to open and close. I honesty thought we would break down based on how the truck was driving, they should retire that truck for sure!

Jane pOrdered a 17’ box truck that was only 15ft. Ended up having to put a bunch of extra mileage on the truck due to having to take 2 loads because of the oversight

Ruben GPlease be sure to point out the maximum miles between point A and B. I had a point A, B, and C which put me over the miles and this was not pointed out when I rented the truck. Of course, it is on the contract, but I didn't read line by line which is my fault. Also, if you are at the end of the day, don't answer the phone if you do not want to deal with customers. It is rude to tell the customer, "well I guess I'm not going to make you happy. You'll have to call back Monday," and then hang up. I was not rude. I just didn't understand and when you explain things by answering, "this is how U-Haul has always done it," you are not explaining anything to the customer. How about this, "I apologize that was not pointed out to you. Do you have your contract? I can refer you to where it says the maximum number of miles on the contract. There is a daily rental fee, plus a maximum amount of miles and for every mile you add to your trip it is $1.00 per mile. I can give you a number or email to U-Haul if you would like to dispute these charges. Unfortunately, we are the third party and the rules/fees are set by U-Haul and any dispute of charges will need to be directed to the company. Are there any other questions?" The office is beautiful, but customer service is lacking.

Kim LI received an email to pick up vehicle at Outdoor Power on the Dual Highway Hagerstown Md! When I got there, they didn’t have the truck i reserved. I called the uhaul place in Frederick St Hagerstown and they set me up with a truck to be picked up on Beaver Creek Rd Hagerstown. Thanks to the people at Frederick St and Beaver Creek rd for coming through. I had to run all over the place to secure a vehicle. When you reserve a vehicle online a week in advance and are told where to pick it up, then make sure it’s there. Wasted an hour of my day and 2-3 gallons of gas, making sure I had a truck to move out of my apartment! But hey no skin of your back, just me jumping through hoops to secure a ride

Dale DI would like a representative to call me to discuss my trip. We wasted 4 hours with roadside assistance trying to get AC fixed but the fix was insufficient. It was out for the whole trip, through the desert in the west and the humidity in the east. We paid for moving equipment that had AC.

Venus WThe ladies in the front office for this location were the sweetest! They were great no complains! But the gas milage was a bit weird to work with because it was lower then they said which I told them before leaving but as soon as I was driving it went down a lot so me being silly thought if I do only one round of gas i don’t have to worry about it. But, it didn’t go gas didn’t even go down a bit compared to when I took it out 5 mins out of the lot. Not sure but that gas tank wasn’t cheap so just keep track and do better then I did. But agan not the workers could have been my ignorance!!
Aylin SStill have not received back the overpayment on my cc nor was I given credit for a utility dolly that we weren’t able to use due to a malfunctioning strap! Very poor & untimely customer service. We won’t use this location again. The lag time is awful.

Dennis EWhen I arrived I had to wait 25 minutes to be helped. I realize there was another family there, but the wait to pick up a truck was ridiculous. I returned the truck at exactly the same gas spot as when I left. The company charged me a 15 gas fee. I emailed and was told, "the fuel charge stands". Poor customer service overall. Would not recommend

Daquan mI came in on the Beaver Creek entrance, as indicated in the street address. However, I didn't know how large the facility was until I tried to find office, around 2 corners and down a sharp right turn decline. There was no sign to direct me to the office. When I found the office, a big office truck was in a parking space that blocked what could have been an easy turn into the parking area. I don't drive trucks for a living and driving around the park truck was nerve wracking and a near accident. My guess is a huge majority of the renters are novice truck drivers like I am. Huge thumbs way down for the return experience. Also, I didn't get a response that the truck was returned OK until I called in the afternoon. The return was so different than the pick up. I received an online notification that the online return was complete but no follow through that everything was checked out to be OK.
