Get better tires that can handle snow! Yesterday was our only moving day and there was a snowstorm. The truck we rented got stuck in our flat apartment parking lot and also in our new driveway. Tires without traction made driving it unsafe! I felt as though I was going to slide off the road multiple times driving only 30 mph!jessica J.

When I made the reservation, it was for a location in St. Cloud, MN. When I got the call a few days before saying the pick up location was in Becker. How does the location change once I've made a reservation? I was told we would get $50 for the location guarantee but I have not see that yet. There was one small issue with the system thinking more than one person was editing the account as i had tried to start the check in on my phone but due to poor cell service it wouldnt load, but i closed all my apps on the phone and everything went great 👍Klarissa F.

I was chastised by the phone call operator for not folding my moving blankets even though our professional unpackers said it would be fine to throw them in the back and the local UHaul location would take care of it. Also, I got charged $90 for not returning 9 blankets even though we were shorted on the front end of the trip at the Texas pick up location. The location in Becker was convenient and I'm guessing there's nothing the people could have done to help us avoid the $90 of blanket charges. The people were friendly enough on the phone. Now I have 9 UHaul blankets that I've been charged for, and I suppose I own them, so maybe I'll use them in the event of a survival scenario. (that's a joke)Andrew D.

More availability nearby. I know seasonal changes have products in flux but i had to drive over an hour, one way, to get my trailer in a major city.COLIN H.
Rental pickup location for changed and my rental blankets were not at new location. Trailer swayed. Hitch had play. Could only travel 45 mph. We had a 2" ball and trailer hitch was loose on it. Tire pressure was not correct... all 4 tires were low.KEVIN S.

The check engine light came on with the first U Haul truck I rented so I took it to the Becker True Value and exchanged it for another U Haul of the same size. I told the rental clerk that I had a 5 day reservation and he told me that he would maintain that reservation and simply assign a different truck to me. When I was passing thru Des Moines at rush hour I received a call from an employee of Becker True Value asking me why I was late returning the truck. I was very shocked and upset. The rental clerk had made the mistake of indicating a daily rental instead of the continuance of the reservation. The truck ran fine and the billing apparently got straightened out, but still their mistake was quite disturbing to me.Larry C.
I was by myself and they wouldn't help me. I am a disabled senior citizen. Should have said I should bring someone. Plus I was still super pissed I had to drive 61 miles to pick it up. Also they had to re enter everything. What's the point of saving info if I just have to repeat it. I will NEVER use Uhaul again and deter everyone I know from using them. 24/7 rental my ass. Bunch of bullshit u reserve 10 days in advance and still drive 61 miles and there are like 70 other places that were closer.Deborah R.

This is the worst trailer I've ever towed. It had excessive vibration to the point I had to pull over and take a break every hour or so. The trailer had not been swept and the blankets were dirty.Taylor O.

Unfortunately our experience was horribly disappointing. We were happy with the location we rented the truck from, as they helped as best they could considering the situation. At 11am we were called and told the truck we were scheduled to pick up at 11:30am would not be available afterall. Uhaul informed us the reservation was transferred to a location 90 minutes away because "it was the best they could do" We contemplated canceling altogether, however the babysitter for my 4 young children, as well as the help we hired to move our belongings, were all waiting. We were unable to reschedule our move for a later date and unable to pick up the truck offered over 90 additional minutes away. We were forced to rent an "in town" returnable truck. We loaded and drove hours, paid nearly double what we would have, and obviously had to drive back to return the 26 ft moving truck. I am so disappointed in Uhaul. We asked that they take some $ off of the mileage (considering this was minutes before we were supposed to be loading up). The employee we spoke to said, Sorry, can't" In 6 weeks we will be in need of a 26 ft truck again for a week, storage, and a vehicle tow package. We planned on renting it from Uhaul but after learning how unreliable they are and the lack of willingness to rectify (as opposed to inconveniencing me more), I will find an alternative.RYAN R.

there was dog poop in the uhaul the tires were flattening the ramp was super sticky ( have to manhandle it to close it) it wasnt swept out when we picked it up . they didnt even offered a discount for all of the stuff we had to deal with. super disappointing .AARON S.

Truck needed serious alignment, it shook terribly over 65 and that was all the way from MN to AZ. Wasn't sure I was going to make it. Truck also was not cleaned before I took it. If I'm to have truck cleaned out after I'm done with it, I expect it to be clean when I take it.Douglas D.

The Becker location has very limited area for U-haul trucks and trailers and in one instance I had no choice but to move another poorly parked trailer by hand so that I could return mine. Still, very nice people and convenient and sufficient location.Jeremiah P.

I was told to make sure to sweep out the trailer prior to returning it, however it was not swept (lots of sand on the floor) prior to renting the trailer. Simple to correct but should have been cleanSteven B.
