We checked the truck back in early and did not interact with any personnel. We use the app. But the location was convenient and clean.
JOHN HI picked up a 10’ truck at approximately 3:08 PM on March 2nd and was instructed to return it between 5:30–6:00 PM. When I arrived at the store, there was a sign on the door stating, “Sorry, we’re closed,” and the posted store hours indicated closing at 6:00 PM. Based on that information, I understood that the store was closed, so I placed the key in the drop box. I was later charged a late fee for not checking in with the store clerk. When I called to inquire about the charge, the staff member was rude, and the manager stated that she was inside the store at the time till quarter after 6. This is very confusing. From a customer’s perspective, if there is a sign on the door saying the store is closed, it is reasonable to believe the store is not open for check-in. If the store was still operating, there should have been a clear sign indicating that customers could still come inside. Charging a customer for following the posted sign does not seem fair. Just a few days later, I rented another truck from the same location. I returned it slightly past the scheduled time but went inside and handed over the keys because there was no “Sorry, we’re closed” sign displayed. That experience was completely different. I would appreciate clarification on this matter and a review of the late fee, as the signage directly influenced my actions..

JAMES LTram was professional but was dealing with a lot off issues for computer and customers directed to them for support when they were out of equipment. But they provided alternatives and then assisted me as soon as able.
RANDOLPH HThe only complaint is that I was originally scheduled to pick it up in St. Cloud where I was and was informed late I. The evening the night before that I had to drive an additional 30 minutes to get the truck in a different location. This was additional mileage I did not count. The notice was to late for me to cancel as I needed it on the scheduled day and U-Haul left me no time to figure out a different plan.

Wendy WThe U-Haul we picked up had trash in it and the windshield wipers didn’t work. We had to drive in a snowstorm and stop every few miles to get out and wipe the windshield with our hands. Very very dangerous

PAUL HI asked if the tire pressure had been checked and was told "yes". When I loaded, I checked and none of the tires were at spec and one was at 10 PSI.

Kent MHorrible experience. The store had me go out and check the gas and mileage. What aren't the employees doing that. Then wanted me to move the truck so truck parked on front of it can go on my asdigned space. Again, why are the employees not doing this. As I moved the truck, per the clerks direction, and not much room in the parking area, I parked the truck to went back in and finish the checking out of the truck. After parking the truck in the parking lot, an elderly gentleman came up an asked if I was taking the truck? I parked so no. He said he thought I was going to leave with it. Never left the property. If so concetned this may happen, use your staff not the customers. Worst experience I have ever had with uhaul. Took an hour to get my rental. Stay away from true value Becker Mn.

Gary SWe used 2 car trailers and both of them had the same issue the ratchet for the tire tie down was vary hard to use I had to spay them all with WD-40 to loosen the ratcheting device so it would work.

EDWARD PI had to travel to two locations to find a usable 5’x8’ cargo trailer. The trailer at the 1st location had defective wiring and no alternative. I had to go 50 miles out of my way to find good equipment. Very frustrating.
