called uhaul costumer service to see if I could return the track at 5:30pm instead of 3:30pm, and operator told me it was ok and that he adjusted the time, at no point he disclosed any additional charges for the extra 2 hours, today I was charged a full day extra for those two hours, and I am asking to get those charges waived as I wasn't informed of it when on the phone. operator just told me there was no problem. thank you, Patrick

Overall my experience was awful. I rented a Uhaul to moving into New York City from New Jersey and specifically went to a location out of the way because I was told that I could drop off the Uhaul in Manhattan it I took it from Belford. I was called in the middle of my moving time and told I could no longer drop off in Manhattan and would have to pick another location. Driving a Uhaul through NYC is a miserable process and having to do it twice after paying and inconveniencing ourselves to drop off in the city was incredibly frustrating after a long day of moving. We were promised extra mileage to cover the return drive, yet still charged an additional amount at drop-off as Uhaul continued to overcharge and underdeliver. I’m shocked Uhaul would be comfortable with taking advantage of its customers like this and will never use it again.

1. Truck should come with a full tank of gas and be returned with a full tank of gas. It is hard to estimate how much gas to put in when it is somewhere less than full.This is a real annoyance. 2. When I reserve a pickup location you should make sure the truck is there. Notifying me the night before that the pickup location is now different causes all sorts of problems. I was on a tight schedule, and you gave me a different pickup location which added an additional hour of travel for me...1/2 hr out and 1/2 hr back, instead of 5 minutes out & back.

My truck was not available at the time I reserved, then there was no rental agent at the facility. Customer service was very rude after they told me my 8am rental wasn’t available and not helpful. I needed the truck at 8. I was forced to take a 9am reservation and didn’t get it until 9:45 because there wasn’t a U-Haul agent at the location we selected. I will not use U-Haul again. Terrible experience.

People were amazing! Easy all the way from pickup to drop off. Uhaul site had to be absolute worst site I have ever used! Took at least 30 minutes! 4 locations near me with 10' truck. Clicked on 1st, put info, oops, sorry no truck. Did 3 times! Finally had a truck even though 1st screen said all had a 10' truck. I'm an IBM retiree. I know a bit about these things. Sad, very sad.

This was such an easy process. I reserved the truck over the phone and when I arrived to pick it up it took about 5 minutes and I was on the road. The staff were polite and knowledgeable. I'd do it again.

Great team at BMC in Belford, NJ. I cancelled without issue the night before my rental was to take place because of a snow storm that was supposed to hit overnight. When I wok up and saw that the snow hadn't started I quickly re-reserved and was able to complete my move. Since I arrived early, the BMC team offered me a water or coffee while I waited. BMC is a nice addition to the neighborhood and a great place to rent a U-Haul. Jim
