Pickup location was OK. But, the corporate goon (Robert) that called to tell me I would have to travel 40 miles to pick up my truck...not good. This was the afternoon before I was scheduled to pick up the truck at 10am at a previously selected location near my home that was within walking distance. So, I had to get an Uber for the trip for another 80.00 to take me to the truck. Jerk would not even entertain the prospect of transferring the truck to my location, helping me with the Uber charges, etc. I ask for the manager, he said she was tied up, I ask to have her call me, he said OK with the hour she would. Never happened. This is bad business tactics. I will remember and pass along.

truck was dirty , had trash in it when I rented it , spider webs on steering wheel

When I picked up the truck, everything was fine and they were very friendly but then when I returned the truck, everything changed I was charged all these excess charges that I shouldn’t have been charged for and they would not discuss them with me then when I called the 800 number I was told something totally different than what I was told by the store. I will never deal with U-Haul again. This is the second time I have rented a truck from them.

Lack of communication. Did not know I had a one way mileage cap. Also driver side seat belt is broken.

The U-haul was in bad condition. It leaked water and got my mattress’s and boxes wet. It drove horrible and was hard to keep on the road. According to the rental company it had previously been in an accident. It had big dents in the van and the inside of it had fiberglass showing which is where the water leaks were coming from. That truck should not have been rented back out till it had been fixed. I rented the truck so my stuff would stay dry and secure. But that wasn’t the case this time. Very disappointed in my rental.
