I reserved my truck & equipment 2 weeks in advance at the Cresson, TX location & uhaul switched me to a further location for not having the size truck I reserved. I also did not receive an appliance dolly and utility dolly that I had also reserved 2 weeks in advance. This is nothing on the Benbrook location, they are at the mercy of uhaul and what equipment uhaul provides them.

CECIL CThe windows were dirty. For the second time I picked up a truck whose gas gage indicated it was full but when I filled it up to return it, I put in way more gas than it should have taken. I got a refund on the gas but it was frustrating. There needs to be a better way of insuring tanks are really full before someone remts a truck. Otherwise they will be paying for someone else who didn't fill the tank up.
Richard RI had a great experience at this location. I was pulling a 20 foot U-Haul with an auto transporter. I needed to take the auto transporter off in order to unload the truck at my self storage. So I dropped the auto transporter first, then came back with the truck. The gentleman at the front counter was very friendly and easy to work with. The parking lot is easy to get in and out of with the truck and is well maintained inside and out of the store.
LORI BRussell is the best example of perfect customer service. He makes U-haul look good. If every customer engagement went like this one in every business place, there would never be unhappy customers.

MARK WI was charged higher than the online price for the 5x9 motorcycle trailer. It should have been $14.99, but was instead charged $24.99. Perhaps it had something to do with the specific trailer (said motorcycle on the front and had a wheel chock) not showing in inventory at that location. Overall, I still believe this is a great value. It just bothered me that I wasn't charged the rate listed on the rate sheet and on the website.
JON KThe cab of the van (cupholders) were dirty and obviously not cleaned prior to our rental. Not a showstopper but problematic.
John MThe address in the uhaul app doesn't translate to Google. We were lost and had the hardest time finding the pick up point, we mentioned to our host and he has told the uhaul corporate numerous times to change the address, we had movers scheduled and the movers had to wait an hour till we got there, we requested a 26 foot uhaul to be in Aledo but we had to drive to Benbrook plus not having the correct address made our experience awful.

Caleb Wvery little help or direction when picking up the truck. Was basically handed the keys & dolly. Wandered around the parking lot before I found my truck. The cab of the truck was dirty. The back of the truck was actually OK. The ramp was covered in shards of metal & something that looked like rivets. Very dangerous & slippery!

William JLighting was out by my storage unit. When I brought this to the staff attention he stated that yes it is and the management is aware but hasn’t been fixed, and I was there for 3 months. The hours the unit is open are terrible. 0900 - 5:45, min-Sat. Doors are closed and locked at 5:45 and closed on Sundays! Who has time to ever get there if working! That is why I will not use again.
Kellie M | Overall ExperienceI rented for a day on Saturday and called to let my dealer know I wasn’t going to make it before he closed. He said that’s fine just drop the keys in the drop box. He closed at 6:00 and I arrived at 8:00. I was charged for another full day for 2 hours? What the heck! Don’t think I’ll be using U-Haul again. The cost of doing business with U-Haul just doubled. These days who can affford that!

JOSEPH WYour representative informed me you only had 24 of the 60 moving pads for my move. I had this reservation for more than a month in advance and had included this order for renting moving pads. The rep told me I could buy pads at Harbor Freight. Seriously? Not even an effort to explore whether any were available at another location.

randall rit was very difficult renting and returning the truck. The location was closed on Sunday and so I had to rent and return the truck on the app and it is not user friendly. I called customer service and got hung up on once then called back it took over 30 minutes for the girl to just put notes on my file to return the truck.

Arturo HOver the years I have read about this location having rude staff. This is very incorrect with interaction Monday being excellent. In this day of little or no customer service this gentleman went out of his way to make sure I got what I needed and on the road quickly. I would definitely recommend this UHaul and if the need arises for a trailer or truck I will come back. Thanks
garvas hTo ensure that extra equipment that is added to order is actually inside of truck . This is the third time my movers get there and no dollies and things inside. Had to cancel my move due to this cause they can only wait up to five hours and you’ll didn’t open until 8a . Also checking on vehicles at the correct time .

Charles ADue to the non-linearity and lag of the gas gauge, I ended up putting a quarter of a tank of gas beyond what was required when returning the truck. The best solution to this situation would be to credit the customer for the extra fuel, much like crediting for miles not driven. Other than that, the overall experience was great.

Debbie MWhy couldn't I be notified that the extra items I requested for rent- dollies and blankets- were actually not available??! Being told this only when I picked up my truck to start my move was less than useful. Made my move so much harder and made Uhaul undependable.
Leigh AWhen I rented the truck online, I also added 2 furniture dollys, 2 utility dollies, 2 appliance dollys and 36 moving pads. Well when I went to pick up the truck, the gentleman running the office said "I don't have any dollies other than the furniture dollys and I will refund your money on the other 4." Needless to say we were not happy because that meant we were now going to be without the dollys. That just made the job 10 times harder. The guy was nice and professional at what he does, but the flippant response about not having any dollies is just unacceptable. U-Haul is in the logistics business and they failed at that and it's just unfortunate. I am 54 and have a broke down body and my dad is 82 and he is in equally bad shape, if it weren't for the movers we added we would not have been able to do this. U-Haul is in the logistics business and they failed in that. I'm just not happy.
