The rep at this location was very helpful and friendly; I would rate him as above average. The problem I have is with the unit I was given...I rent from Uhaul several times a year for the past 16 years and this is the 1st time I was given an enclosed trailer that 'leaked'. I am sure someone has complained and somehow this unit is still being circulated. This unit is leaking from the floor on up...all my boxes from the front to back; nil center stacked layer were DRENCHED with water from the heavy rainfall during the transit. I purchased a tarp at my 1st stop not realizing where the water was coming from and when the trailer was unloaded; every box sustained water damage, my printer had water on the inside of the unit (this was enclosed in plastic and inside a soft-walled basket...the basket was so wet the color in the weave bled off, water damage lines ensued, and when transferred to hard dry surface...the table was drenched beneath the unit! If I had returned the trailer with water damage' I am sure Haul would expect me to pay for it. As a renter, when I rent a 'enclosed' trailer...I expect my items to be in the same dry condition they were in before I transported them. This trailer was no different than using 'open' flat bed trailer. I expect Haul to contact me regarding this unit to discuss problems encountered.

U-Haul Contract 80507228 I rated my experience with this location as not helpful or inviting because I filled up the gas tank for my wife using the only contract that I saw in the truck "sitting in the cup holder". It was highlighted to fill the truck up to 5/8. My wife's contract stipulated filling it up to 7/8. I understand that she signed a contract and the requirements were clear; however, I did not look at the contract's signature to confirm that it was hers. My point of contention is that if the vehicle was cleaned out properly following the last user, the older contract would not have been in the vehicle. I am being charged $25.00 for referencing the wrong contract. I would appreciate the organization crediting me back the $24.50 back. Thank you, Brian Seaton

The first trailer that was hooked up to my vehicle did not have working lights. The man changed the trailer and said he would make the change on the contract. I asked if I needed to go back in and he said no. I get a call on Monday asking me what trailer I have because the one I rented is still there and he has one missing. I told him the story and he said can you go read me the trailer #. It was poring rain and I told him I would as soon as it stopped. He said that to call him back as soon as I can so he can make sure it's his missing trailer and not call the police and report it stolen. This is there screw up. He made comments three times about calling the police to report it stolen. Maybe he should call his employee before calling the customer. When I called him back he said that was the missing one and said again thanks for verifying it before he had to report it stolen. I didn't take the trailer it was hooked up to my vehicle by his employee. I didn't like the way he kept saying he was about to call the police and report it stolen.
