When we arrived, no keys were in the boxes to allow for online rental. The previous rental had not been closed out and processed to be ready for a new rental. We had to wait for the location to open hours later. When they did open, the corporate office had already closed our rental, charged our card (even though we never took a vehicle) and did not make a new rental. At that point the vehicle was already rented out to someone else. The second truck at that location was not allowed to do a one way rental so we had to use it to move from one apartment to another and then drive the hour back to return it to the same location. Then get a ride back. In the meantime, they charged our card a second time rather than just applying the funds to the new rental. Very disappointed as this was not typical for U-haul from our past experience.
MATTHEW SU-Haul had 45 miles until empty, attendant seemed flustered and unable to answer questions. This was an alternate location that I was sent to because a truck I had wanted at another location was out of service. Not only was this out of the way, but it was in an area where there seems to be a lot of loiters around the vehicles.
Colin SWhen I went to pickup my scheduled truck the worker inside the store handed me the keys without telling me any information. I walked outside to find my truck and didn’t know which one it was. I walked back inside to ask for clarification and the employee that needed to help me had left the store to go across the street to the Casey’s gas station to make a purchase for himself. When he returned he pointed out to me which truck was supposed to be mine and then walked away. He didn’t check anything about the truck or helped to unlock it. I tried the keys that were suppose to work but they didn’t, when I went back to the employee to ask for help again I had to wait again before he finally helped me. He was overall very rude and impatient like he didn’t want to be bothered to do his job. I will not be renting one from this location again and I will pass along my experience to everyone else.

Courtney SThe guy helping was awesome but the U-Haul app it’s self took 45 minutes to load through everything - not an effective business model for people literally on moving schedules- disappointing on uhauls part not the location
