No-contact is a joke. The app didn't work. Took 2 hrs to pick up the truck, and the customer service flat out told me they couldn't help me. NO ONE CARRIES A PASSPORT TO PICK UP A RENTAL. I will never rent from UHaul againHoward T.

I paid for a truck and got a storage unit. While driving the truck I heard adds where I get the first month of my storage unit free. Which was never mentioned during booking either. I had to book the truck from a different location cause the place I booked the storage unit did not rent trucks. But I rented the truck abs storage unit both from Uhaul.Aaron B.
Tell customers that y'all charge by the mileage AND the day. Horrible. This was my first time renting from uhaul. I was asking for extensions thinking everything was sweet because they never told me the new balance after the extension, but instead would say, â€œFor how many days? Okay, you're good!â€ Y'all are some goofies. Please don't be like me, ask questions because they will definitely try to finesse you out of your money since they don't advertise that they charge by the day.Sashaa C.
When I called uhaul I was told over the phone that I could pay for the rental with cash and I could get a discount because I was a veteran. Could not do either, because they said it was up to the locations choice and had to pay with credit card. It's not like I don't have a credit card but I hate using them. I have an excellent credit score of about 780's or better but wanted to pay cash not only so I don't have to waste my time paying online for my card that this country has problems getting hacked and their printer was not working so I had to sign a hand written agreement and write nothing follows under my signature.TIMOTHY G.

I dropped off trailer after hours so the uhaul website was the problem. I couldn't get it to find my location and had to call for help from the uhaul agent. She was very helpful. The website still didn't work but she was able to check me in.JOAN C.

Make sure the truck is in the spot the picture shows. Also the dolly didn't have the zip tie in it but we didn't use it anyways but hope not to get charged for it. Also took a picture of it without the zip tie.Matthew K.

When I was told that I would pick up trailer at one location and then I got there and it was not there. I had to go to a different place and then it didn't open up until 10am and I was told 9am pick up. It put me behind schedule. Had to pay the person I was getting stuff from extra money. U-haul's phone app is complete garbage!!!!!! It would not let me upload photos so I could not complete the after hours check-in. The app is clunky, not user friendly, and needs a LOT of improvements. If I get charged extra for not being able to check it in via app even though I cleaned the truck out, returned it flawless, and put the keys in the drop box, I will be super pissed!Keith D.

The whole process was great and I appreciate it. Getting contacts that morning due to them working was the only difficult part. Maybe that could be done in advance? Other than that, I was very impressed with the truck and service.Dan F.
The customer service was excellent. The woman who assisted me was friendly, professional and polite. It made the experience delightful. The only hiccup was the electrical hook up was wrong and they didn't have the adapter. However there was a UHaul a few blocks away that did. I bought the adapter for around $15. I was surprised how cheap it was. Everything else went great. Highly recommended.ALECK R.

My Original Scheduled Pick Up Location was 6320 Forest Hills Rd Loves Park, IL where my furniture was stored, and then I received late email just prior to move day with request to Pick Up the Truck in South Beloit which caused me to make special arrangements, drive out of my way, and late meeting hired movers. To make matters even worse I was then charged for extra miles when I checked the truck in on Sunday! This is ridiculous!MITCHELL D.
This was such a great experience from start to finish. I really like the online features that are offered from placing your reservation to returning the moving truck, there's nothing to improve as its super easy to do.Sylvia W.

Original pickup was in Winnebago. Day before was told to pick up south Beloit 30 miles away. Was told to replace gas to where guage showed. Papers were put in folder in truck. Guage read 3/4. Later saw paper work showed nearly full. Also was charged for extra miles after I had to drive my auto to get truck and back. Miles waived after I complained. I have another truck and auto trailer reserved for 5/20 in Winnebago. I certainly hope they will be in Winnebago where wbsite scheduled it. Could have been a much better experience.David W.

I made a reservation for a cargo van to be picked up at 7am at a specific near my home a week before needing the vehicle. This reservation was confirmed via email. I then received two more emails â€œ updating â€œmy reservation 2 more times. Each time changing what I requested. The final reservation was for a truck not a cargo van. At a different location than I requested farther away from my home, and I could not pick up the truck until 10 am not 7am. The end result was not what I wanted nor what I â€œ reservedâ€THOMAS R.
