It was clean but when I arrived @ my destination everything that was loaded in the back of the trailer was wet. Apparently a leak in the roof or around the back door.JEFFREY R.

Truck has sticky residue on the floor by the center console and in the cup holders. There appeared to be ashes on the dash? Possibly from a cigarette, however the truck didn't smell of them, likely due to there being no cloth interior for it to stick to. The engine serpentine belt and tensioner MUST be bad, because when hauling, with engine under load (accelerating) I had to listen to it squeal from Findlay OH, 15 hours south to Orlando Fl. Before returning it to the location in Winter Park. The front end needs to be aligned too, steering wheel is off center and you can see a difference in camber between the front wheels with the truck loaded and unloaded. This is gonna ruin the tires due to improper contact with the road. The box on the truck was full of leaves and dirt. Luckily i had no furniture or cloth items to haul. The trailer was great, did fine. Truck and trailer were returned to the Winter Park location in the same condition i received them in. Hopefully a technician there will service it better than whoever did in Findlay Ohio. If i had received it clean, i would've returned it clean. Frankly, disappointed i had to pay well over two grand to rent THAT vehicle. Wasn't sure if it was gonna make it to florida but there was nothing i could do the day i picked it up because the Findlay Uhaul location employee was out with Covid and not on-site. The employee from Bowling Green had stopped by earlier in the week to set up the truck and trailer and leave the keys in a lock box outside. Which i was totally unaware of until i drove 45 north from Lima to get it because my local Uhaul didn't have that truck and trailer available... All that just to find no one there and have to call the reservation number at Uhaul to figure out what was going on. I'm a mechanic, I've been in more than my fair share of gross shitbox cars, but for charging more than two thousand dollars? Do better Uhual, do better.Benjamin L.

Both locations were acceptable. Not having a truck at the committed location was the problem. And not finding out until late Saturday that it would even be available Sunday even though previously committed was very poor.Robert M.

I had an appointment to pick up a trailer and when I got there the guy in charge did not know how to do the paperwork. He did help me do it on my phone. The regular guy was not there-he had a Dr appointment. Finally another guy showed up and did paperwork and got me on my way quickly.WILLIAM B.

It was VERY easy to access, allowed for parking so we could pick our vehicle up on the return trip and the gentleman who checked me in was super patient and helpful. I would rent here again.Kelly S.

When the location for pickup is changed the customer should be notified. Had I not checked into this prior to my move date I would have had problems. I never received a receipt after my drop off. I was told since I turned the truck in the same day of pickup my bill would be adjusted. Also according to the sign at my pickup point it indicated i would receive $50.00 if my original pickup point was changed.JOSEPH ROBERT B.

this has nothing to do with the pick up location but I probably spent 5 hours on hold waiting for someone at u haul to help me. I had to call several times and each person told me that it was the person before them that set up my reservation incorrectly. However, the people that helped were very nice.Melissa G.

Ordered blankets and appliance dolly had to go to a different location to pick up and return I also hired moving labor which never showed upAnnamarie S.
A better Wi - Fi to find the location when returning the vehicle. Finally after 6 tries it worked. The APP should have a way to proceed when the Find the Location does not work due to the APP being trouble.Dale B.

I have no real complaints. Stated no on clean and maintained only because the inside was quite dirty but you have to consider the weather Findlay just recovered from and not necessarily the locations fault. Wish Uhaul had a preferred customer discount because I rent a Uhaul at least once a year for the last 6yrs at least.Jewel G.

The truck was very new, but somehow it was already dirty. Which I was not surprised about when the employees approached me as I was using the app to start my rental, they were also not very clean and none were wearing a mask. Also, the app too more than 30 minutes to start my rental, then expected us to have the truck back at our planned time. Need to better control your processes and hire better peopleAnthony B.

Rep quoted wrong information about the rental. Ended up overpaying. Did not tell us the one way was not refundable if we did not use the whole 4 days. Told us we would be reimbursed for unused days. It was a rip-off. We want to dispute the charges. When we called customer service, Sharon was very rude and did not care what we had to say. Will never use your company again. Was closed when I arrived about 10 min ahead of the advertised hours, however left keys in the drop box with no issues. This isn't a reflection of the drop off location itself, but I would recommend making it VERY clear that if you are going to use the app to do your drop off, that you state up front to NOT drop your keys in the drop box before using the app to complete your rental. I did that and then could not retrieve them to take the required pictures of the gas gauge/mileage.Robert D.

Seems there was an issue with the programming and the truck requested was a 15 not 17 Due to having to wait 2 hours and 15 min AFTER SCHEDULED PICKUP TIME i had requested a discount instead i paid for the 17 foot trsiler instead of the 15 and no discount as i was told it would happen , Not planning on using this location againdebra R.

Make sure dispatch actually dispatches the reservation or don't let them make the reservation. I made a reservation a week ago and somehow dispatch didn't actually send it through to me to get my code... Waited An hour for the towing guy to figure out why didn't have a lock code but had a reservation number. The key was in the box but I couldn't get because I didn't have a four digit pin. Nothing on him, seems like an U-Haul IT problem. How can I sit in the parking make a reservation for the next 5 min and then expect to have that reservation (this not what I did, but someone could) I would make it so they need 24 hours notice so they towing team can drop the keys in the box. A complete mess. But the towing guy was great and friendly.Hunter M.

When making a reservation, call the place and speak to someone specifically about what you need before you use the UHaul app. The area was an auto repair shop with U-Haul as an afterthought.Thomas B.

The person I made the reservation with over the phone was very helpful. However, we had to wait at least 45 minutes when we arrived to pick up the unit because the employee who handles pick up was not there. We had to wait for another employee from a different out of town location to arrive. To their credit, we did receive a phone call explaining the situation, but when you're on a schedule and expecting to be on the road with the rental, it was disappointing and frustrating to have to wait. Perhaps having more than one employee trained to handle rental pick up would be helpful.Dave K.
