Uhaul wasn't clean. Was overcharged for the uhaul. Was told that the equipment was not available at that location but the equipment was on the truck. Owner attempted to charge a $100 deposit without my consent.Ciara F.

Not very friendly people either in pick up or drop off. When I initially got there, I was handed a phone to â€œconfirmâ€ my reservation, during Covid, not happy about that requirementâ€¦they also required personal info, although my reservation was made via U-HAUL with a person so they had everything they needed and worse yet, I could hardly hear the person due to loud, repetitive banging in the background. I was going to try and downsize the truck but the lady at the counter told me I would have to do everything online. When I returned the truck to this gas station, the first pump I pulled in to did not have a credit card reader. The second pump I pulled in to the credit card reader did not function. I then drove this 26 foot truck to another gas station to get gas then return back to this gas station. Why does this matter? You pay mileage. This rental was the second rental location I visited. The first U-Haul location I went to was, Easy Rider, who told me they had no trucks available, and that truck he would not rent me sat there all weekend. If people spend money with you, treat them like you care. If you have gas pumps out Of order- put visible signage to let customers know the pumps, or card reader are not working.LEE M.
I paid for 6 furniture pads and found that they had been used and were dirty with tape on them. There was trash and used furniture pads in the rear of the truck. I had to speak with someone over the phone who was not clearly heard even though I opted for desk check in due to my lack of hearing. The person at the counter was extremely rude. The truck was filthy on the inside of the cab as well. And I also had to drive 20-25 minutes out of the way to get the truck. I'm extremely disappointed with the entire experience. But hey Uhaul threw in 30 miles so I guess that fixed the entire situation. At least the place I dropped it off at was very courteous and helpful.Kara M.
This was the most horrible uhaul experience I've ever had. The people in charge of the uhaul did not show up with the keys until almost 2 hours later. I called several uhaul representatives asking to change my reservation to a place that was closer and they all told they couldn't. I was charged for equipment they DIDN'T have.Quinshada S.
We had to pay mileage overage because we were sent way out of our way to return truck. We drove past several uhaul locations to get to the location we were given for return. Have rented from uhaul many times and have never been sent this far for return. Not cool.James R.
