I was to receive a $60 return when we returned the trailer. At this location I was informed that they can’t return money to the debit card and will mail me a cheque in 3 weeks. I’m not impressed with this.

Got our puck up location changed from 100 Mile House to Kamloops because apparently the 4 trucks we witnessed at the location were inoperable. We were able to return the truck in hundred mile but with no staff present. Also had trouble with the link for return which made process longer and painful.

Had brake and signal lights some marker lights but no tail lights. Fortunately I was done before dark. I informed the drop off location of these issues. When I looked at the wiring most of the wires had some sort of corrosion on them.

It was repeated and unexpected changes to both the pickup and drop-off locations for my truck rental. Originally, I was supposed to pick up the truck in Quesnel, but the location was changed last-minute to Williams Lake. After making arrangements for Williams Lake, it was again changed to 100 Mile House. I traveled nearly 250 km just to pick up the truck, incurring extra fuel costs and having to compensate a friend who helped with transportation. And then i faced a similar issue with the drop-off. The original drop-off location was Vanderhoof, and I had everything planned accordingly. However, I just noticed that it has been changed to Prince George — again, around 250 km away from me. This situation is becoming extremely inconvenient, time-consuming, and costly. I never faced that bad experience in my life , it was the most stressful time i had and i also i will never choose u haul again in future.

told me my only option was to rent for 3 days because I couldn't drop off on weekend but that was a lie. Truck was extremely hard to drive in a straight line as it would pull in random direction and would swerve on its own when you hit bumps, weed and tobacco in cupholders and drug paraphernalia under seat, windows so greasy as soon as direct sunlight hits them it becomes impossible to see road, only time it didn't smell like a wet ashtray was when the cab would fill with exhaust smoke from wherever the leak is, which was extremely loud, trailer wheel strap mechanism was rusty and nearly impossible to use. Over $2500 for a weekend with a truck that was incapable of safely towing what I rented it to tow. Just a big scam.

I feel bad for the lady at the terminal to leave such a review, I am sure, it wasn't her fault. However, I was absolutely disappointed with what I experienced at the terminal in regards of renting the trailer. First of all, how does a lady lift a 6x12 (trailer with 4 wheels) off the ground on her own to hook it on? Never have come across that experience at another rental station. I should have been informed that I need to bring a hydraulic to lift that thing off the ground or at least, there should be a hydraulic available at the rental station. I had to call a male to help me hook it up. No one was out there with us checking on whether the trailer was attached properly...in my opinion an absolute negligence from UHaul to let people go on the road like that. Secondly, when checking the lights, they were not working. I found out a cable was disconnected...there I am, on the parking lot with a trailer, that isn't working. Not sure who's responsibility it is to check trailers that are being returned. We were sent to the mechanic in town. After having spent a few hours with the mechanic therre, the problem couldn't be fixed. We were offered another trailer. Thank goodness the mechanic boys were kind enough to offer to come to the rental station to help us hook on the "new" trailer. Again, super nice lady at the office, but the maintenance from the trailer is questionable. 3 hours later we were on the road. Still very frustrating when you rent a trailer at 1pm and you get finally out by 4 pm. Entire plans didn't work out for that day. If you book with that Terminal, make sure you bring a hydraulic with you. You need to be capable to hook on the trailer without any help. Again, in regards of liability, I am very surprised that this is allowed to let people drive on the road without having it all checked out properly.

The 1st trailer was not in good shape but it was replaced quickly and a larger trailer was supplied at no extra cost. The second trailer was in excellent condition. Staff at big Country were very nice as was the U-Haul person who came to make sure everything was okay with second trailer.

Reserved a truck and Auto transport in May for the end of June. Calls 2 days before we have no home to say they don't have these units for us then finally the day of send us 300km round trip just to pick up the truck....offered us an extra day but nothing for the extra unexcused fuel out of pocket. I have always used Uhaul since I was a teenager will not ever again 2nd time I have been let down last minute only to cost ME extra of course.

The truck I reserved was not available. I was offered the correct size if I took a 3-hour 260 km round-trip to pick it up in another town. But no additional allotment of mileage for this extra travel!!! Instead I was able to switch to a much smaller truck. Staff were excellent and quick and helpful. Truck was just very dirty on the outside but very clean inside... not a problem for me though.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!. I Rented a Uhaul truck because I had to move all of my stuff from Vancouver + my entire new kitchen full kit. When I finally made it back home in 100 Mile House and opened the truck door to unload, ALL of my stuff was soaking wet. It had been raining on my drive back home but I made sure the door was properly closed. Turned out they were a leak in the roof of the uhaul and caused all of my things to be totally wrecked, I barely was able to save 1/4 of my stuff. My brand new kitchen was totally wrecked I had to drive back to Vancouver to return everything. I did notice the rental place. When I got back the second time I explained the situation and was told that I wouldn’t be charged for the extra km. BUT 4 months later, you guys took over $1400 from my credit card. I don’t agree with that at all. And was poorly treated when I called. And still haven’t heard back from anyone.

I have to admit I really have mixed emotions about this rental. I have rented from U-Haul multiple times. It would’ve been nice to have an employee get off their ass and walk us out to where the units were and help us find it in the snow and then maybe help us unfree it because we had to go back into the store and ask for another one because it was frozen to the ground. There were no stumps that they were laying onto prevent this and in area where it gets on a regular basis in the -20s I think that’s a little unacceptable. Then we were told they were just change the number on the contract later when we were reading the contract we found out if we didn’t have the paperwork that it said it changed and we signed it have there been an accident we would’ve been liable I have to admit I think I preferred when the U-Haul rental was at country tire not Big Country tire

No concerns with this location, rather uhauls checkin procedure online. I should have got an automatic reply at least saying I had checked in the equipment and someone will get back to me or a generic message that kind of thing. I didn't get a response for 2 days. Thanks

We found the app and website horrible!! For pick up and drop off we had to call customer service several times, the people that we dealt with were fantastic, we had nothing but issues with the website, it kept crashing and nothing worked as it should have; these problems added several hours to our day that we didn't schedule for. The vehicle was clean and in good condition and the people were great!

VERY difficult to find where to drop off in the complex. There are many bays and all seem to be commercial trucking or delivery of some kind. Would like to see a sign posted on the side of the road pointing to the first area. There was one small trailer near the office, which i guess indicates where the office is. I don't remember seeing a sign above the door. The staff though were very helpful.

Parked in front. Acre of parking and two or three semi trucks only. Office help did not want to check truck, condition, mileage, etc. I had to go out and mark the fuel and get the mileage. Three hours later my wife gets a call from Vancouver about no keys. I dropped the truck off in 100 Mile house. I go there and they had the keys but they wanted me to move the truck to a back lot where other UHaul were. They couldn't move it???? They couldn’t;t tell while I was there that they wanted the truck parked somewhere else.
