When a customer is picking up an appliance dolly with the truck rental, they shouldn't have to drive to another place on the same town to get it. Have the dolly (and anything else) at the same place as the truck pickup.

The vehicle inside was very clean! Outside was full of bug juice. Not their fault as I called another U-Haul renter and scheduled over a month in advance and was told the day before I would have to drive 45 miles to another town to pick up! I had just driven through this town the day before and had to turn around and go back. The U haul I picked up was returned right before I got it! U-Haul should be ashamed to make someone drive round trip 90 miles extra to pick one up when I called way in advance and their are trucks the same size sitting in my home town not rented at two different locations! Plus I had to deal with a check engine light immediately coming on and go to two other U-Haul places to get checked before driving 600 miles. Thankfully no issues on the road! I checked no on recommending any U-Haul location… very disappointed.

RICHARD GTruck cab had a deep Oder of cigarette smoke that was noticeable on pickup and was still there 5 days and 1200 miles later. U-Haul should not allow smoking in their trucks, or at least put a sign in the truck.

JOE CYes you can't always assume some of us old timers are tech savvy enough to know how to navigate a new app and they're probably concentrating on the task at hand hence the reason for the rental and not realizing that they're return date is either a holiday or weekend they know that if they picked it unit up here obviously they're delivering it here they're just not realizing that the place where they picked it up is not open on the return date so maybe a heads up.

SWADE PWe were supposed to pick up our UHaul here also but unfortunately our reservation got mixed up so we had to drive to Glendo to pick it up but when we were overcharged for a dolly they resolved that right away.

CHRISTOPHER KI had a great experience with the location once I got my uhaul . However my origanal reservation was messed up and I wasn't able to get my uhaul the day I wanted to pick it up . And had to do 100 miles of extra driving to pick it up . But once I picked it up the location I got it from was awesome.

ROXANNA VWhen the customer places a reservation at a location have a truck at that location not 135 miles away. You could have taken the truck to the reserved location. Where I picked up the truck was great only it wa 135 plus miles away from where I reserved it. Moving is stressful and having to drive that gar to pick up a truck only added to the stress.

Peter DThe location was filthy with old dirty spider webs everywhere. The owner made excuses for being late and said Uhaul was not his primary business. His phone rang several times while we were there. He never did answer it. He finally did get the paperwork done so I had to rate him helpful but we were very frustrated at the time lost out of packing day. We wasted the whole morning by the time we got back home and started packing.

Marilyn L- There is no handle to ergonomically aid in pushing the roll door down all the way to easily latch on the 5x8 trailer. (In cold temps. its a hassle and a potential injury waiting to occur) - The swing doors are far more better, they don't get hung up on items that shift during transit and may be waiting to fall out upon you like the roll doors do. - Safety Dept. in UHaul needs to be proactive with these items.

Brian PStaff was friendly and helpful. However, the office is somewhat difficult to find and the outside of the trailer was filthy and very off putting but the inside of it was clean, which was the greater concern. They had just put new tires on the trailer though and I was very grateful for that! Ridiculous that I had to drive 50 miles from my much larger home town and back just to rent a trailer for the timeframe I needed.
