I scheduled my pickup on the App for a 9:00 pickup. I selected 9:00 a.m., because the location was supposed to be opened for business at 9:00 a.m. I thought it would be good to make sure someone would be there just in case there was a problem with the pickup. My wife and I arrived a few minutes early and we were surprised with the business did not open at 9:00 a.m. We continued to wait and another customer who had scheduled a pickup arrived around 9:15 a.m. At 9:29 a.m. I called UHaul customer service. The representative on the phone attempted to make contact with the owner of the business and could not. At exactly 9:34 p.m. the apparent owner and his teenage son arrived. I asked him in a friendly tone "Are you the guy?". He responded by looking at me with a hostile look and said "What do you want?" I said "I have a Uhaul pickup that was scheduled for 9:00 a.m. and I want to pick up the truck." He said in a sarcastic and very unapologetic tone, "Give us a minute." He then opened the door, went inside, and locked the door to the business behind him. After an additional 10 minutes, he finally opened the door and we went inside and completed the transaction. He initially tried to tell me I did not have a reservation until his son pointed out on the small Ipad device that my reservation was listed. We never received an apology, but worse, I had 4 people waiting at my house to execute a move. 2 were paid individuals and 2 were friends. We also had 3 other family members ready to load the truck. If Uhaul is going to partner with a business, it should do so with businesses that will be open when their website says they will be open and they should not be so arrogant and condescending when they are wrong and late. It was clear that the owner of the business did not care one iota anything about customer service. I will add that I returned the vehicle 3 hours later and the gentleman who received the truck was efficient and mannerly. He looked to be approximately 30 years of age. Put another way, the return was easy enough, but the pickup was a very unprofessional. I have used Uhaul many times, but I will strongly consider using another vendor on my next move.

Handling and receiving the car was not in a proper way and there was miss leading information regarding the rental rate and insurance included in the contract.

The website let me book Dolly’s and they are not available at that location. The guy was very nice and helpful so I blame the Uhaul company. Really made my move a lot harder and inconvenient. Might not use uhaul again.

I was overcharged for my gas mileage and all the attendant could tell me is the information entered is correct and she will forward my case to the supervisor who " wasn't in" so I had to wait until the next day to talk to him. I demanded I talk to him. He called me still with the wrong info. I suggested I send him my before and after mileage picture. He said to do that. He said he will get back with me with a new invoice, however, it's been about 10 hours and haven't heard anything. Mind you I texted him and asked if he had recieved my photos and he responded that he did. That's about the only time he responded. When I texted to find out when I should be expecting my adjustment. I never heard from him. So ten hrs later I still haven't heard anything. So my next move is to call my bank amd dispute tje paymemt since he wants to play games!

The fuel light went on as soon as truck was turned on and then when it was returned they wanted me to put $5 worth of gas. NOT RIGHT!!!!

They gave me the truck with a quarter of gas, we returned it 1hr after with no gas, I know that we have to be charge for the gas spend, but $58 ? I mean, thats a hold tank!!!! Waiting to get a reimburse.

I reserved a truck at my LOCAL Uhaul store (less than 2 miles from me) a month in advance. When the day came to pick up the truck I had to go out of my way to pick it up from a carry out store (not a Uhaul store). It was a total hassle. Everything about the experience was bad. It took over an hour from the time I arrived to the time I was able to leave with the truck. Totally disorganized. Trucks were not clean. Moving blankets were dirty and damp. Employees were rude, disorganized, and untrained. It was a waste of my time to reserve ahead of time and a huge inconvenience to be forced to pick up the truck from a carry out store that was 25 + minutes away. I dealt with 2 employees at the carry out. I called and spoke to several different employees at the local location. I called the 800 # and spoke to several people. It is very clear that Uhaul does not care about customer satisfaction. They rely on the fact that you have reserved a truck and when things go wrong, you are up against a deadline and don't have time to cancel with them and find other equipment to rent from a different company. I am extremely disappointed with Uhaul and will not use them in the future for moving or storage.

The rental place did not open at the promised time and had to go back later to get the truck, they could have called me for the delay. The truck was old and not well maintained and I hade issue with the radiator leak in the entire trip.

Rented from Big Mike's corner of Cypress and Armenia in Tampa. 3 minutes to my daughter's apt. When we arrived the son in law rented to us and he was so nice. Later we dropped by to leave our car and the nephew was in charge..another very pleasant man. And when we dropped off meet Big Mike and his son...All great, great people. Highly recommend them!!

Ali was very friendly & gracious & the pick-up process went very smoothly. He went over and above to help us out when we had an issue with the electrical hook-up. He also responded quickly and efficiently when we called from the road to let him know the license plate had been stolen during the night.

I arrived at one the drop off location the same time I picked up from the previous location and was informed they did not have room for me and I had to drive to a different stop. My drive on this stop took gas and time - which I was later charged for and it was out of my control. This was the worse experience I have ever had with a rental company and would NEVER use them again. I am extremely disappointed.
