Kerri SWhen I arrived the dolly, furniture pads, and furniture mover were in a different location, so I wasted time trying to find them. After 15 minutes, I called the location office and leaned the whereabouts of the missing equipment. Other than that, everything was fine. I just wished I would have called sooner upon arrival and used the mobile check in.

Steven EThe issue I have is I was billed for 212 miles for an in town move. I literally moved from one townhome in the verandas to another, less that 1/4 of a mile apart. There is absolutely no way I used that many miles. That’s almost as long as driving to Louisiana. I am super upset that I was billed this amount for literally less that maybe 50 miles with a few back and forths.

LAWRENCE HI’ve reached out to friends who used this facility and all of them had to pay an additional $21 charge due to dropping off the vehicle “after hours”. I have never paid an after hours fee out of the 28 years of being a valued customer, and we’re talking in the middle of the night. My drop off was noon on a Wednesday (which they’re not open very odd) on top of being open for 3hrs on the days they are open. I called and asked about the charge, was told that my discrepancy was sent to corporate and I would receive a call within 72hrs but amazingly never heard back. I wonder how many other people have paid this $21 fee but just dismissed it because it was only that amount. As far as I know minimum wage is much lower than that. We used to live on $40 a week for groceries when my son was born in 2000. I feel I payed enough for an honest service but some how don’t feel I’ve been treated honestly.
JAMIE WThere was no employee on site. It was confusing at first but I followed the instructions on the app and was able to self check myself out and return vehicle.
TIMOTHY HThis is an awful process to return a rented truck. The location is not staffed and having to rely on technology to return a vehicle took over an hour. We are older, but not necessarily ignorant. After multiple phone calls we finally completed the process. The team member was hard to understand at times. Not very friendly. The application took us initially to rent a truck and not return the truck. I would not recommend a location that is not staffed to people that might not have a cell phone to completed this process.
TERENCE VThe woman who is running or managing this location is extremely unprofessional and charges fees which should not be charged. She does this to run up the bill to U-Haul customers. She did it to me and I have since spoken with others in the area and she had also charged a cleaning fee when the truck was clean was well as any additional fees she can charge within her own reason. I had a horrible experience with the woman there and will most likely never rent from the Freeport location again.
Joseph BThe lot is unsupervised in the Afternoon, but I highly recommend it since; the Supervising person overall of this spot in region, is very supportive and will call you back asap with any issues. It was good to have personalized service member attention to my specified rental occasion. I trust this Company.

LUIZ DOnly issue is the internet WiFi would help for customers that a bad area at times.
HECTOR LThis location is essentially just a piece of desert land where you're expected to pick up your truck using an app. The issue is there's no phone reception—so how are you supposed to use the app without internet access? I end up having to call customer service every single time I use this location to get my truck. I use U-Haul regularly for my business, but this is by far the worst location I've dealt with.

SALVADOR DThe app is terrible requiring too many photos and asking questions that could have been asked in advance. The location office opened while I was still checking in. It took 45 minutes. The truck was not filled with gas. It was below 3/4 of a tank so refilling it to that level was difficult after using the truck. And the trucks were just parked out in a dirt field with the key and key boxes located far away from the trucks. The truck was also in pretty bad shape. It ran fine but its body was beat up.

John WSomeone called me and made me modify my reservation, I had a 26 ft truck and a car dolly, to be picked in two diferent locations then both had to be returned in the same location that I did´t choose 1 hour away from my home instead the one at 20 minutes. The whole experience was terrible. Then you charged me 21 extra for the extra miles you made me make.
VICTOR SThe app was difficult and confusing since it wouldn’t allow me to upload my license after I got out of anpp. and the internet service/cell connection was very limit and very slow.

JOSHUA BThey scammed me, charged me all kind of fees that were not true. Do no rent from this location. They will steal your money.
Herman EThe ratchets that secure the webbing that go over the tires of the towed car were rusty. Even with 3 in 1 oil we could not get them to break free. The spindle was rusted in place. Called uhaul customer service and a wrecker was dispatched to our location Herons watch way. The driver was knowledgeable and used a tremendous amount of oil to free the rachets. Both sides were locked. He got both free and were able to strap down the towed vehicle. The trip north to Madison was uneventful in terms of the vehicle hauler. Uhaul needs to pay more attention to this type of maintenance.
MARK WNothing to approve. Joe (I believe was his name) was absolutely awesome! He went above and beyond to help and literally saved the day and my entire move after I had to fire a “professional” moving company. He was outstanding!

ASHTEN BThis has nothing to do with BJ's Bait and Feed But I believe U-Haul should be cheaper if we have to do all the work to rent a truck This site is in a great location very clean and organized I believe in self service discount's

ROBERT VMy experience with the u haul rental from BJ’s bait & feed in Freeport , fl. was hassle free and very easy to reserve the trailer & to pick up and return the trailer.

Paul PI was told they were open till 11:30 no one was there at 11:20. Person answering the number posted was rude and not helpful. Yelling about how she just left at 11:15. Anyway I paid for a furniture dolly and it wasn't included
