How U-Haul Reviews WorkThe only issue I had with U-Haul itself was the extra charge for the mileage. I drove from pickup location to my new house then to gas station then drop off but managed to go over and have to pay extra
BRIAN SLocal Location customer service was good but the truck was dirty inside and had to be cleaned before moving.
Danny SStaff were great, but I was annoyed that my reservation was shifted to this farther location last minute (instead of the one right by my house). Highway 331 on a summer Saturday morning instead of 5 minutes down 98 is a potentially significant traffic difference. Was happy they had boxes available to purchase, but after the move my mother noted there were mouse droppings on the outside of those boxes. (Outside storage trailer.) Also got shorted on the moving blankets, but it's difficult to tell the way they are folded and bagged, and staff at drop-off didn't notice or charge me.
Amanda SNo assistance, poorly maintained facility, and inadequate lighting in the lot. No one was at the site for pickup or return. The lot contains mud holes and is poorly lighted. If the location had not been near me, I would have chosen a different vendor, and likely will next time.
