The only saving grace this location has is the U-Haul employee named April. She is the only one that stepped up and gave me the support that I needed as a U-Haul customer. Steven in scheduling was also helpful. The U-Haul dealership needs to be closed. BJ's Bait and Feed is such a terrible representation of a business model. Limited business hours that are never maintained. Bobby who might be the (general manager?) was just a terrible person to deal with. Promised communication that she never followed thru with. Would not answer a simple phone call or reply to a simple text message. She had excuses for every aspect of her business failures. I did receive some compensation from Roger Davis (area field manager) and he was very professional and disappointed in the service and support that I received as a U-Haul customer. Thank You,

My original pickup date was changed and told to pickup early or not get the trailer there at all. I have 2 moving trucks and 4 movers at my house while this was happening. I picked the best looking trailer on the lot. Many have low air in the tires and have been sitting for a long time. You also have to wade through weeds knee high to look at the trailers.
Charles GDo not recommend this location. We used them twice in two weeks, and both experiences were terrible. First, we reserved a 26' truck for 5:00 PM. The site was completely unstaffed, no pickup instructions were provided, the app malfunctioned, and we spent over an hour stuck on hold with customer support just to get the keys. Second, I arrived at 11:55 AM for an 11:45 AM trailer reservation. The attendant aggressively claimed I was over 30 minutes late, stating she had arbitrarily moved my pickup time up because she "had things to do." I received zero notification of this change—nor is it acceptable to unilaterally move a customer's reservation. She then threatened to withhold my dispatch simply because she wanted to leave early. After driving 5 hours to get there with a tight turnaround back to Birmingham, I literally had to beg for the equipment I had reserved. Hostile management and abysmal organization.
Jack RVery inconvenient to rent a truck and it be on 1/8 of a tank of gas! Picking it up on full and returning it on full is the only true way of only paying for what you use! We did not factor a gas stop right after picking up the truck!
