The online system is garbage. The customer service rep was rude and disrespectful and continues to play games stalling me getting the vehicle. It's disgusting. I will NEVER USE uhaul again thanks to your rep. PERIOD.

Cathey Reed of customer service made me a reservation and stated that I could pick the trailer up without a Uhaul agent present after I purchased it online (I was present at the site when I made reservation). Blackwater Trail Antigues, where I picked it up said, I could not rent the trailer because no agent was present and stated that she did not work for Uhaul. I did not want to purchase the equipment online if I could not get it from the site, while looking at the trailor. I was very bewildered by the lack of communication about renting a piece of equipment. Mark Osborne was called out to location and was very rude with me and his attitude and demeaner suggested he was unconcerned if I rented the equipment or not, and I was more of a bother, when I voiced my concern about purchase. I only needed the trailor for about an hour and I will be very reluctant to rent anything from Uhaul again and would definitely not recommend Uhaul to others. Our complaint is not with the pick up location, our complaint is with U-Haul. When we arrived to our 24/7 pick up location and started the check in process on our phone, the model # for the truck didn't match the description as to which truck was in the picture and the compartment code to get our key was also incorrect. We waited on hold with U-haul for 12 minutes before someone finally answered and they continued to give us the wrong code #, they said that's what they have in their system as the code and they would have to transfer us to a different line. Thankfully, the owner of the building pulled up and saved the day and let us get our keys. It took us an hour to do all of this.

The owner of the location knew nothing about the trucks and how to rent them. I was told I was on my own because I should know what I needed to do. The drop box and key box were behind a homemade trailer with nails sticking out as well as sticker bushes grown up around the location. Very unprofessional and dangerous as I poked my leg on a rusty nail.

The UHaul truck was very dusty inside the cab, and someone had stuck a huge glob of chewing gum right on top of the seat belt adjuster. So when you reached up to raise the height of the shoulder belt, you hand went right in it. Also, the turn signals did not work on the trailer, but the other lights did.
