AFTER STARTING THE DAY WITH A RENTAL THAT WAS NOT AVAILABLE IN SHELBYVILE; THE DAY TURNED TO THE BETTER WHEN CUSTOMER SERVICE FOUND THIS RENTAL AT BLUE WAREHOUSE DISCOUNTS. THE LADIES THERE WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND VERY FRIENDLY. A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE TURNED INTO A GREAT EXPERIENCE. THANKS TO THE LADIES AT BLUE WAREHOUSE DISCOUNTS!!!

The clerk was very rude. We were late picking up our order. I explained that we would be keeping the vehicle the next day since it was impossible to return at the scheduled time. She called on the day it was to be returned which was Saturday and I explained that was not possible that I had told her that on the day we picked it up. I was told then that I should have called and told her that. Why because I had already told her that we would be keeping it the additional day.

Thier focus is on thier business if previous uhaul user doesn't take care of what they was exspected to do it doesn't get done my truck was not cleaned out and I don't feel like I should have to be responsible for doing thier job

The people didn’t know anything. Weren’t helpful at all. Returned the truck with too much gas due to malfunction of the truck and didn’t get a refund. Had to call 2 people myself because they wouldn’t call. And the people I called didn’t help me. They had no problem charging me extra money for the extra miles but could care less about crediting me for the gas.

Send text notification to customer as to where the trailer has been reserved. I had spoken with Tim Workman of Workman Auto Sales to reserve the trailer, but when I called on the day I was to pick it up, he told me it was not there & he had to call me back after finding out where the trailer was.

I was told I could take this truck to Eminence KY when we got there I had to drive to Smithfield ky which is way out of the way . Then I was charged $4o fee

This location and their people were very good. The problem was that I specifically rented the vehicle at a different location and was contacted by a U-Haul logistics person the night before telling me my pick up location had been changed. This process (which sounds like it is the norm) will cause me to think twice before I choose U-Haul in the future.

First time my family has used this location we picked up a trailer with a flat tire. This time we picked up a trailer with brake issues which caused a huge delay in our moving.

The location to drop off was fine but it was not what I agreed to either I reserved Choctaw Jim's in Campbellberg, Ky and it was closed so after calling several different numbers and getting transfered 3 times I finally was able to drop it off in Smithfield, Ky. I will never use this service again.

Location was in good condition and easy to find, but the internet connection with AT&T is poor, preventing me from uploading photos of the odometer on the app. I was forced to just lock the truck and throw the keys into the return box.

This was my second location after my preferred location wasn't given to me. I went to the first location that had me on reserve. It was 30 minutes from my house, and when I got there the truck was down an icy snowy hill with a pond below it. I could not get the truck out. The uhaul representative had to tow me out. Once he got it towed, the horn did not work. I was refunded and afterwards rescheduled to pick up another truck at this location in Smithfield, Ky. This location was much better, but was the end result of a lot of frustration.

The pickup/drop off was easy but the location was a little too far out for me. It was inconvenient.

The location was so far from where I moved too. When I went to to do a mobile check in, this place was so far out that my location could not be found even after several attempts. No local place to put gas in truck before drop off.

I called before we headed that way. Said it was fine to come early. And he would assist with hooking. I had already done online check in. Still took some time and seemed slightly unorganized. But overall, good experience.

Improve your online check in process. I have rented 3 different trailers from 3 different vendors over the last month. Every time I take the time to take the needed pictures of my ID. Every time the vendor has to redo all of what i already did because they say they dont get it and that never works. Every time the pickup process takes at least 30 minutes.

U-Haul needs to work on their website. The app is dreadfully slow and redundancies abound. Customer service does not have the tools they need to serve customers. The app should not need to ask for my password every time I open it, and should not log me out if I have it in the background for a few minutes. Company, fine. Website, sucks so bad it makes me hurt.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Not too busy, so all questions were answered and time was taken to ensure that everything was right before letting me rent or return the truck. Good experience overall and will use them again.

The entire online rental experience was a joke. Getting passed to three different locations because, evidently, in store customers take precedence over online renters. I was put in the position of not knowing whether or not I was going to get a truck at the last minute. I put in my request as soon as I knew I needed the equipment. Then, to get passed from one location to another at the last minute created stress I didn’t need. Having to drive nearly an hour, at the last minute, to get the truck I requested really ate in to time I didn’t have. And added to an already stressful situation. Either the equipment is available at the time I place the request or it isn’t. All of that should be known at the time. The option to get a different size truck was never considered by any of the locations I dealt with. In addition, through no fault of theirs, I wasn’t able to get an appliance dolly. Which I desperately needed. I was given a regular dolly. I was able to make it work. But, that’s not the point. Thankfully, Ryan and the folks at Blue Warehouse Discounts, are great people. I deliver to them through my job. And they are stellar folks. My experience with them was five star. My experience with U-Haul, not so much. All in all, it’s making me consider other options the next time around. The convenience of your online system just doesn’t make the hoops I had to jump through at the last minute worth it. If I had any suggestions for improvement, I would offer them. I’m not one to cut you and not offer a band aid.
