We did notice the trailer latch was not working & happened to be talking to drop off location so I mentioned it. I was told I could use something like strong zip tie and they planned to address it upon turn in. Door stayed shut for us so temporary resolution worked fine & did not delay our trip. Very pleasant operators at both ends of our move. Have used them before & will again without hesitation.SALLY T.

The trailer was damaged upon pickup. One of the straps to tie down the wheel harness was frayed and very difficult to thread through the ratchet system. Also the right side wheel ramp pin was missing and therefore the ramp would slide out and drag on the ground without being tied down by a rope that we fortunately had.John P.

I don't want to blame the location but not sure what the problem was when you schedule a 24-hr self pick up and you get there and get a message on the app that you have to wait until the place opens. That defeats the purpose. Had to wait until 9 when scheduled at 8. When people are moving, it's very inconvenient to waste an hour waiting for a place to open. Ridiculous.Jordan K.

I had a Uhaul installed hitch/receiver unit on my vehicle. Nevertheless the electric plug on the trailer did not match my hitch configuration. I was surprised at the very overpriced electrical adaptor cost - more than the daily rental cost of the trailer. The ability to attach to standard electrical systems should be in the cost of the rental. I should not be charged $35+ for something that is about 4 ounces of plastic and metal and is made by the supplier for little more than $2.Major M.

Despite having a confirmation/reservation for a 15' truck, there was no equipment when I arrived. The only equipment available was an undersized trailer. My moving plans had to be cancelled because of the lack of a truck. I incurred costs for the movers I arranged to load and unload the truck. This is the second and final time that UHaul has done this to me. Terrible experienceJohn M.

Asked for a pickup truck got a big 15 foot storage moving truck - not at all what was expecting not ideal for what I needed the use of it for at all. Rented a truck and trailer - didn't hook the trailer up to the truck or even offer to do so - never hooked a trailer up before myself but did it.Madeline W.

Though staff was friendly, pickup was scheduled for 9:30, vehicle was not ready, had to wait 45 minutes. Gas tank was not totally filled and there was garbage from a previous driver in the cab. No one in this facility was wearing masks for Covid protection. They did wipe down the cab of the vehicle before we left. Would have preferred to use the Baraboo location for pickup as requested.Brittany B.

Your online ordering process is a bit misrepresentational. I was NOT HAPPY about the extra work I had to put in to ensure I wasn't booked a truck in another county. If a client books a 10-foot truck at one location, Uhaul should not move said reservation to another location in another county without talking to the client first. I was not impressed with the way Uhaul tried to go behind my back and change my original booking.Danny B.

I did contact the local U-Haul company after we picked up the truck, expressing my concern over the cleanliness of the front cab. As I mentioned to the person on the phone, it looked dirty inside. We began wiping everything down with a Clorox wipe...first one was filthy. This gave me zero confidence that it had been properly cleaned; I was upset that, due to the current Covid-19 situation, things hadn't been more thoroughly attended to. Wiped down the steering wheel, seats, all knobs and handles, seatbelts, front panel, door grabs, etc. This took many cleaning wipes...all very dirty. A type of arm or knee brace...used...was found under the seat. Although the staff at pickup were friendly, I was dissatisfied with the company because of this.Kris S.

Blystones in Portage, WI female working Sat afternoon on 4/04/2020 she is still very Poor customer service. Your uhaul co is losing money because people do not like dealing with her. I had the uhaul for 2 1/2 hours and it cost me $100.00 this is $50.00 more than I was quoted. Please call me at 608-220-4591MARY S.

When we picked up our trucks, there were locks on the back that no one had the combinations to and after many attempts they finally cut them off. Also, we reserved our trucks and tow dolly 2 weeks in advance and 24 hours prior to pick-up they called to confirm our reservation but informed me they could not provide the tow dolly.cal N.

Make the uhaul website easier for the staff- they all complained about how it changes like every day... just slows down reservations and returns. Also the door chime made noise every time the door was open even if nothing was on. Bit annoying and even tune it out and left the headlights on a few times.DREW S.
